I highly recommend this semi-buffet! 👍🏻 The main focus is on meat dishes, with options for beef, pork, chicken, and fish. There are also various price points ranging from 409 to 1399 NT dollars. The highlight is that after ordering a main dish, you can enjoy the all-you-can-eat buffet in the restaurant. 🍴

I was really surprised on my first visit... there were so many choices and the quality was impressive. It wasn't just what I captured in the photos—on that day, in addition to pizza, stir-fried dishes, and duck blood tofu, we also had stewed dishes, freshly made beef soup, fried items, sweet soups, ice cream (the brand is Du Laoye), fruits, a salad bar, drinks, coffee smoothies, bread, and more. I absolutely cannot believe you wouldn't be full even after 90 minutes at such a vast buffet!!!

I was initially worried it would be like KTV quality, but I didn’t expect their dishes to be so thoughtfully prepared. 💗

This time I opted for:
✐ Sirloin steak 9oz for $478
I originally wanted to choose a filet mignon but was worried that 6oz wouldn’t be enough, so I tried the sirloin instead. The menu thoughtfully indicates the tenderness of each cut of meat.

I chose my favorite doneness for the steak, medium rare, with sauce on both sides. The cross-section looked beautiful with just the right amount of juiciness. The texture was incredibly tender and delicious, plus the portion was satisfying. If you're worried about the meat being too rare when it comes to your table, you can use the heated stone provided by the restaurant to adjust the doneness yourself.

I was extremely satisfied with my first dining experience here! 🤩 There were already a lot of diners on a weekday evening, so on weekends, it must be hard to get a table. If you want to give it a try, I sincerely recommend making a reservation online in advance.

The benefit is that there are many branches of the beef restaurant—friends from the north, central, and south don't have to compete; everyone is in luck! ( •̤ᴗ•̤ )♡

Additionally, I must mention that the indoor space is very spacious and the environment is clean (bonus points!). The staff is friendly and polite. I will definitely be returning!

Today I ordered takeout from Chi Niu Dao, getting the chicken thigh and flank steak as my main dishes. It was truly satisfying! The flank steak was cooked perfectly, juicy and tender, with a mouthful of meaty flavor—so delicious. The chicken thigh was also great, with crispy skin that locked in the juices, making it very flavorful. The owner was really warm and welcoming, treating us like regular customers as soon as we walked in, which brightened my mood. They offered old-fashioned sweet tea and soda as drinks; the tea was sweet but not overly so, and the soda was ice-cold and enjoyable. There were also ice cream and sweet potato chips available for self-service, which felt like a great deal, reminiscent of carefree snacks from my childhood. The space in the restaurant was spacious, with tables not overcrowded, making it very comfortable to dine without any pressure. Overall, this meal left not only my stomach full but also warmed my heart—the owner's enthusiasm and attention truly added to the experience. I’m looking forward to coming back to try other main dishes and indulge in more sweet potato chips. The atmosphere and genuine flavors of this Taiwanese-style setup are truly worth visiting again and again!

Dining at JUMBO STEAK HAN’S in Okinawa, I ordered a 4 cm and an 8 cm steak set. To my surprise, for an additional 330 yen, I could enjoy unlimited curry rice, beef soup, and a salad bar—an incredible deal!

When the steak was served, it sizzled on the iron plate, releasing a tantalizing steam. The restaurant thoughtfully provided paper napkin aprons to avoid oil splatters on our clothes. Cutting into the thick steak revealed a juicy red meat, and with the high-temperature iron plate, I could heat the beef to my preferred doneness, resulting in a tender and satisfying texture.

The portion sizes were substantial, and I felt truly full after the meal. If you’re still hungry, I recommend pairing it with the curry rice, as its rich and spicy flavor leaves a lasting impression. The salad bar and beef soup also added variety to the meal, offering fresh and diverse choices. This dining experience was not only satisfying in taste but also impressive in service and atmosphere. For those who love steak and want an indulgent meal, this place is definitely worth a visit.

The Takihou Charbroiled Aged Steak NanGang branch is located on the third floor of CITYLINK NanGang, near the MRT and Taiwan Railways NanGang Station.

Today, I enjoyed the gourmet filet with a complimentary pork chop, and a charcoal-grilled chicken thigh, accompanied by a Caesar salad, a Japanese-style salad, and a cream soup, totaling 1351 NT dollars including service charge.

Gourmet Filet with Complimentary Pork Chop:
This is a limited-time promotion at the NanGang branch, where if you purchase a filet, you get a pork chop for free, similar to a buy one get one deal. The filet performed well, thick and juicy with decent meat quality, easy to chew. The pork chop looked quite impressive on the plate, slightly charred with a beautiful sear.

Charcoal-Grilled Chicken Thigh:
It looked good, with obvious grilling marks on the skin and a lovely charcoal aroma. The meat was firm with a bit of bounce, sitting on a bed of minced onions to keep it separated from the hot plate, which was a thoughtful touch.

The side dishes of baby corn and broccoli were cooked just right, and the sweet potato had a smooth texture. However, the side dishes' flavors were rather bland, so if there's no taste, just dip them in sauce.

Fish Fillet Strips:
The small dish from the set was crispy on the outside and juicy inside. It was a standard deliciousness, just be careful not to burn yourself.

Set Menu Salad and Soup:
The Caesar salad and the Japanese-style salad differed mainly in their dressing, served in just the right portion, and the freshness of the lettuce was okay. The Caesar was rich, while the Japanese-style was refreshing, allowing you to choose your preferred type.

Cream Soup:
The crispness of the pastry was good, and it was quite delicious mixed into the soup. However, the soup itself was just standard corn chowder, and the pastry tended to spray everywhere. But this is what a good pastry is like.

The self-service soup area was quite clean, with a full range of seasoning sauces. In addition to the usual corn chowder, there was also tomato borscht available, which had quite a bit of substance.

The knives provided by the restaurant were sharp enough; some steak houses have dull blades, making you wonder if they're afraid of us cutting the meat or wanting to chop people.

Overall, it is a chain steakhouse leaning towards an American industrial style that promotes affordable aged steaks but has room for improvements in details.

Why is that?
The upgraded set includes salad, soup, and dessert, while the more expensive A meal even has a side dish. But I only realized while organizing photos that, strangely, where is my cake? Oh my god, the shock of not receiving it left me quite unsettled for a while.

To be honest, the quality of the meat was not bad, and the price was reasonable, but the missed dessert is really hard to overlook. Can they still charge a service fee for this? 😭

I hesitated a long time and decided to lower my rating from four stars to two and a half stars. Is that piece of cake still waiting for me in the fridge? ... 😭

This place is NT Steak on Yongkang, Beixing Road, Tainan. If you're usually the type to go to night markets for that kind of chain steak, the flavors of NT's steak meals are obviously upgraded. The meat is flavorful, the noodles are good, and the sauce isn’t overly salty or watery; overall, they put in some effort.

During this visit, I had a steak while my friend ordered a pork chop. They were both tasty, but these two steak meals were obviously very thin 😆. The meat is indeed a large piece and has texture, but when you bite into it, the mouthfeel is a bit lacking. It might be due to cost considerations, but overall, it just lacked some satisfaction.

There are also side dishes and a self-service bar, with salad, corn chowder, and bubble tea—everything you need is there. The variety isn't extensive, but considering the price, there’s really not much to complain about. The key point is that it feels easygoing and stress-free, and the space is comfortable.

Overall, I think NT Steak follows a route of "simple yet sincere," making it suitable for those who want a good meal without having to think too much about their choices. The steak may be thin, but if you prefer flavor and quantity over chewiness, you’d likely find this place quite satisfactory. It's simple, genuine, and when paired with the self-service bar, it makes for a hearty meal—definitely worth trying.

The environment inside the restaurant gives a spacious and comfortable high-end feel. The tables are thoughtfully equipped with explanation charts for various cuts of beef. Since the meat is grilled on hot stones, a bit of smoke or grease is normal. Be careful not to touch the stones just because they aren’t smoking; getting burned by the 400-degree stones is definitely possible!

The main dishes are all grilled on a 400-degree hot stone 🔥. The staff will first help sear the surface to lock in moisture, after which you can control the cooking level yourself. If the stone isn't hot anymore, you can ask the staff for a replacement. The whole process is quite fun!

Very rich in dairy flavor and has a firm texture; my favorite dessert!

A sweet but not overly sugary choice; if the weather is not cold, you really should try this!

Great for small appetites, as usually by the time dessert comes, you’re almost too full to eat anything. This dessert is small and clever, just the right size for a perfect bite! 😋

The ordering method at the store is done via a tablet at the table 💻. The set includes the main dish, eggs (steamed egg or onsen egg), and bread 🥖. The bread 🥖 can be chosen with a soft or crispy crust, and the accompanying garlic sauce is really delicious, making you want to take some home for breakfast 😍. The self-service drink area offers unsweetened cold brew tea and lightly sweetened grass jelly drink 🥤. The soups are corn chowder and beef borscht with chunks of beef 🥣. There are also side dishes of onion cabbage and Korean chives available 👍.

The steak dishes allow for choices in doneness, noodle quantity adjustments, and sauce selection. The noodles 🍝 are fine, which is a texture I like. This time, I chose a medium-rare filet 🥩, and the meat was quite firm. Those who enjoy chewing will find it suitable. The double portion of beef is very generous, definitely filling 😋.

This time I chose a medium-rare boneless short rib 🥩, and even after being grilled on the iron plate, it was still very tender and became more fragrant with each bite. I would definitely order this again on my next visit 😳.

A Taiwanese steakhouse with crispy cream soup 🥩🐃

I remember seeing this place highly rated in the Tianmu group on Facebook and just had to try it!

I arrived at eleven-thirty when they first opened, and the restaurant quickly filled up. If you arrive closer to noon, you'll need to wait outside for a spot.

Inside, there is an unlimited Pepsi machine.

The highlight is that ordering steak comes with crispy cream soup 🤤🤤 (the crust is very flaky and fragrant)! Plus, the customer next to us was able to refill their corn soup after finishing theirs.

🐮 I ordered the Filet Mignon ($320):
I originally ordered a choice cut steak, but they mistakenly sent the wrong one. When I spoke to the staff, they kindly said it was okay and upgraded me to this one 😝

The steak is very thick! It's a tender Taiwanese steak, with a consistent tenderness across different parts, making it easier to chew.

🐮 Thick-cut Sirloin ($300):
Such a cute name for this dish 🤣
The steak is a large piece! The meat is slightly thinner and has a bit more gristle, but it’s still very tasty.

This dish is served without noodles and comes with an egg. The staff reminded us that there would still be some noodles underneath the steak.

Would I return? Yes!
Overall, I felt there wasn’t a huge difference between the two steaks; they are both very typical Taiwanese steaks. Next time, I’d like to try other cuts of meat.

Set meals + unlimited side dishes, along with a salad bar and drink bar.

The side dishes are ordered by scanning a QR code, and there is a wide variety available without limits. You can order once every 15 minutes, with a maximum of five portions per type each time. The dining time is two hours, with the last order for side dishes being accepted half an hour before the end.

Today, I ordered for the main course:

French duck breast cooked medium rare and Australian grain-fed beef ribeye cooked medium rare. The French duck breast had crispy, fatty skin that was delicious, and the meat was tender. However, I found the Australian ribeye to be quite disappointing; it was very tough to chew and not tasty at all.

As for the other dishes:
I enjoyed them slowly; each plate of side dishes was exquisite and had just the right serving size, which I appreciate. I took a little bit of each dish.

I really like tiramisu; it's super delicious and you can order more.

We ordered several pieces of butter scallops, and they were quite good; they were pan-fried and very tender.

The butter garlic shrimp were also nice; I ordered several of them too.

The soft-shell crab was very crispy and fragrant, with a coating very similar to tempura batter.

The fish fillet strips were okay, pretty average; the sauce was reminiscent of McDonald's Filet-O-Fish sauce.

The garlic pork belly was very tasty; the sauce tasted much like teriyaki sauce, which I really liked.

I didn’t like the beef short ribs as they were too tough for my taste.

I didn't enjoy any of the three hot stir-fried dishes. The salad and fruit bar were alright; the passion fruit yogurt sauce was quite appetizing.

As for the drinks, the coffee from the machine was not good. There were 6 kinds of teabags for black tea, and I brewed two types. The fruity hot tea was nice, and the exotic fragrant apple tea was very fragrant and also good.

Additionally, there was a self-serve drink cabinet with Coca-Cola and sparkling water, but I wasn’t interested in those, haha.

The ice cream cabinet was nice, with delicious Mövenpick ice cream. The maple walnut is super delicious, and it has lots of walnut pieces. The chocolate ice cream comes with chocolate crispy bits which are excellent, and the strawberry has strawberry crisps, which were decent. The vanilla flavor was quite ordinary.

Overall, it was okay; I might think of coming back to eat here in the future.

The boss and his wife are really nice. When they saw my friend and me carrying a lot of bags, they immediately took us to a spot with storage space and kept telling us to just put everything on the top, clearly worried that we would get tired.

<About the environment 🐾>

The environment feels like something you often see in affordable steak restaurants, where everyone is relaxed and chatting, and it doesn't feel awkward at all.

The table is pretty clean in my opinion, and the space between the seats is just right—not too small, but also not too far between people.

可以無限暢飲的玉米濃湯,表面看不太到料,但那只是因為湯不夠濃稠,可以把料橕在表面而已~

我點的是雞加豬,感覺今日份肉肉足夠了。
雞肉的皮偏軟,肉質還可以,但感覺還有進步的空間。
豬肉則是咬起來偏硬,但肉味沒有到那麼濃厚,是我個人可以接受的味道。
麵看著是使用烏龍麵,咬起來也是偏硬(但有熟),整體對我而言雖然不是最好吃的,但跟老闆聊完,感覺品質是有掛保證的。
