The environment is that of a more upscale Western restaurant, and the staff is very friendly. After we arrived at our reserved seats, they assisted us in ordering drinks. That day, we ordered pies and Argentine steak. For the pies, we ordered beef and chicken, but personally, I prefer the beef, as it has a richer flavor, while the chicken is rather bland. As for the Argentine steak, we ordered one medium-rare and one medium-well; if possible, I would recommend the medium-rare because the dish is served on a hot iron plate, which continues to cook the steak, potentially making it overcooked. Speaking of the beef, the edges are extremely crispy and incredibly delicious, a perfect 10. Additionally, the beef comes with a variety of different spices and sauces, which is a great bonus. The bread, which is sourdough, is complimentary and very tasty.
Argentina is famous for its fine wine🍷 and meat in the food industry
Moreover, the food culture is also influenced by Spain and Italy.
Therefore, many traditional Argentinian dishes are modified by introducing Spanish and Italian dishes!
Gradually it evolved into a new style of cuisine unique to Argentina...
The restaurant we visited this time is an authentic Argentinian restaurant
You can actually feel the local customs as soon as you arrive at the door.
The clerk is very enthusiastic and has a complete Central and South American style.
I worked very hard to order food using my jerky English mixed with Spanish.
The three of us ordered some special dishes including
Told it many times
❤️ Empanada
This snack is so common that when you walk on the road, you can see small shops on the roadside selling this cheap and delicious snack.
Empanada originally originated from northern Argentina and looks like a big dumpling! But it’s actually a pie filled with meat fillings!
There are many types of meat fillings. In addition to the must-eat beef and lamb in Argentina, common ones include pork, chicken, onion cheese, vegetarian fillings, etc.! Today we ordered beef and vegetables!
Although the beef empanada in this restaurant does not have any gravy, it is still a piece of meat, not minced meat! The taste is very good!
❤️Milanesa
This meal is mainly influenced by Italian food and has become a classic Argentinian fried pork chop. It can be regarded as one of the most common dishes in Argentina! Generally speaking, beef and chicken are more commonly used in this dish. Usually the steak will be cut into thin pieces and then dipped in fried powder and half-fried and half-fried ~ In fact, it can be served to the table. Just like what we are doing This restaurant has the same order! It tastes very fragrant. It’s delicious with a little lemon or the salsa they provide~ But many other restaurants also use different ingredients to create a variety of flavors.
This is my favorite dish today. I originally thought that the cutlet would be very dry and hard. But I didn’t expect that the fragrant outer skin is covered with tender and juicy cutlet!
❤️pizza
There are also a lot of pizzas in Argentina...I think it’s probably because of the abundance of cheese! The pizza here has thin crust and thick cheese. As long as everything is done, you can definitely hear the crispy sound of the crust being cut and the visual effect of the cheese being stretched! The pizza in this restaurant has a completely authentic taste. The cheese is rich and not too salty. There are also some olives 🫒 and other ingredients to balance out the overall taste ~ It's even better than what I had at a pizza specialty store in Argentina before!
❤️Pumpkin/Potato Mashed
This recipe is just ordinary pumpkin and potatoes 🥔 steamed and then taken out and beaten into a very fine puree! Because of the local climate, this kind of agricultural products can be grown with great quality. The sweetness and delicateness of the pumpkin puree made me accidentally eat too much.
Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant! But compared to the other Argentinian restaurant I introduced last time... I still think the empanada of another restaurant is slightly better! And actually that store is right next door to this one~
You can take a look and choose~Enjoy Argentinian food!
For this restaurant, I specially asked the backend to add...Argentinian dishes for me
After all, such authentic and delicious Argentinian food really makes me have endless aftertaste!
First of all, the clerk greeted us warmly as soon as we entered the door.
The bread that came first was also hot, with their own olive oil and spices!
Then we ordered food~ We ordered some super classic Argentinian dishes!
❤️Enpalada
I have marked the name of each dish below the photo. It should be easy to see which meal it is! Although this dish is also available in Chile, it is by far the most delicious of all the enpaladas I have ever tasted! Crispy on the outside and juicy meat filling on the inside! Most of the ones sold outside are minced meat...and the saltiness is a little stronger, so you can't get too much meaty flavor! But the food in this store is super delicious. When you cut it, the juice will flow out. The key point is that the seasoning is super good. It’s easy to take one bite after another and not stop eating!
❤️Mondongo
This dish must be ordered by those who dare to eat offal! Because it contains a lot of tripe and some soybeans and carrots cooked here! The sweetness from the boiled vegetables and the cooked tripe make it soft but still maintain its elasticity! I am totally blown away by this meal!
❤️ Garbonada
I also had this dish when I was in the United States. It was cooked with a lot of tomatoes, spices, various beans, and a lot of corn! This dish feels more like tomato and vegetable soup...but there isn't much soup. It's mainly a dish! Most of them are eaten with bread~! I also like this dish very much. It has a richer tomato flavor among the three!
❤️ locro
This is my friend's favorite... but personally I think it tastes like a very, very rich corn chowder! It lacks the egg flavor and adds a lot of beans! In fact, just eating this one dish will make you feel super full.
❤️Red wine
I highly recommend this bottle of red wine. If you don’t drink red wine often, it has a very smooth and not too astringent taste. You can remember this brand! Most of their red wines are easy to drink! I often accidentally drink an entire bottle...
Overall, I highly recommend it~~ I hope everyone will come and taste the good dishes here when they come to Argentina! Enjoy the exotic scenery together!
When you come to Argentina, you must try the local barbecue.
On the one hand, at least I haven’t seen anyone in Taiwan roasting suckling pig to such a huge size!
On the other hand, this is a very famous local specialty meal!
And the area covered here is also incredible..
There is also a large area for parking for guests.
When I'm outside, I feel like I'm entering a circus...
As soon as you enter, you can see a lot of seats!
There are also rows of roasted suckling pigs and strong flames 🔥
There are even clowns selling balloons 🎈
Personally, I think it’s very fresh and interesting. I’ve already given it three stars before I even eat it!
I also ordered a round of famous dishes...
❤️Comprehensive offal plate
Although it is said to be a comprehensive offal plate, we actually told the store clerk which offal we like! They can all help you make the combination you like. I had tried blood sausage when I was in Korea. At that time, I thought the fishy smell was very strong, which was completely unacceptable! But the one here is not at all... it tastes a bit like our large intestine... but it has been smoked and grilled... adding a lot of different flavors! The kidneys also taste chewy but not too hard!
❤️Grilled Beef Ribs
Roast beef is very rich in fat. If you are afraid of oil, it is best to cut off the oily part first, otherwise you may be a little shocked by the oily taste in your mouth! But the meat is also smoked and very fragrant!
❤️Roasted Pork
This one surprised me the most! I thought it would become dry and hard after baking like this. But I didn't expect the skin to be crispy and the meat to be soft! And very juicy and delicious! Each piece of meat can be easily torn apart... and paired with their unique sauce, it can enhance the freshness and sweetness of the meat! This is probably my favorite of them all!
❤️Salad
The salad here has eggs and beetroot, which is a plus... The salad here doesn't have a lot of Caesar dressing or the like like in Taiwan! Most of them are just vinegar and olive oil, stir it and you can eat it - completely healthy and natural!
I personally think this restaurant is recommended! It’s not easy to eat authentic barbecue like this in other places. But it’s really difficult to find this place if you don’t have a car! I would suggest taking a taxi. It’s very cheap to take a taxi here!
