🍢 Kaohsiung Sanmin ▫️ Around the Houyi Business District
🍢 A popular stir-fried and charcoal-grilled restaurant that has been thriving for over twenty years
This charcoal-grilled stir-fry restaurant located on Nanjing Street
Is always packed inside and out during weekends
It is said to have started as a roadside stall in 1997
And has developed into a two-story restaurant👏🏻
My first visit was a family gathering with a large group
Due to the slow serving speed and lackluster dishes
My impression of the place wasn’t very positive
But one day, I decided to give it another chance
And I could clearly feel the improvement🎉
(Of course, it’s also possible that the chef just had an off day the first time🤔)
From then on, my family became regulars, visiting every month❤️
Besides the fragrant aroma of charcoal-grilled dishes wafting from outside the restaurant
Every bite served at the table carries the unique flavor of charcoal🔥
A-Hong's stir-fried dishes are equally outstanding
Each dish shows a careful selection of ingredients
Especially the seafood, which allows one to truly savor fresh flavors🦐
During this visit, the dining area of the restaurant
Was originally their "Next Door" hot pot restaurant🍲
After it closed down, they retained the hot pot decor
Allowing customers to enjoy meals in a more comfortable space🥘
If you place a high emphasis on overall value for money 𝗖𝗣
A-Hong's prices may not be very friendly
But if you care about ingredient selection and delicious cooking
I think it’s worth giving it a chance to shine
After all, the stir-fried and charcoal-grilled dishes here are definitely worth trying
It's a great spot for gathering with a few friends and enjoying drinks✨
In the evening, I wanted to come to Magic Island to watch the sunset and have dinner to chill. Unexpectedly, I saw a long queue on the roadside. After parking my car, I joined the queue. It turned out to be a BBQ restaurant with rice as the main meal.
Because the prices in Hawaii are really high, seeing that the meat he gave me was very large, I naturally felt more at ease mentally. I ordered the mixed platter series, where you can eat his grilled chicken, pork, and beef. Chicken is probably the most suitable for Taiwanese people's taste, it is tender and juicy; pork may have been marinated first and has an inexplicable sweetness, which I don't like very much; beef is actually grilled well, but a bit too oily. Later, I added a bottle of Sprite, and the overall taste was even better!
Unfortunately, it rained heavily, so I had to finish this lunch with my colleagues in the car🤣
This article is a repost. I took my mom to eat there on Mother's Day. It's basically a high-end BBQ restaurant of Ganbei Group. The meat and service are very high.
Every time I eat, I feel very good. But every time I eat, I feel too full. Especially the freshly cut steak. Because every time it is freshly cut and left to mature. Usually after one round of eating, Only then will the service staff come to the table and grill it for you. At this time, most people can no longer eat. I am the only one left to work hard. Every time I finish eating, I feel that I should not order the freshly cut steak next time. .but I still can’t help but cut it every time I see it.
Thick-cut beef tongue is my favorite meat. It is tender and delicious without being too tough. I must order it every time. The beef intestine is also one of my personal favorites. Although it is not easy to bite, it is really delicious. People's wishes are still unfinished.
Overall, although it's not cheap, it's one of the few places in Taiwan where you can get delicious Japanese-style yakisoba.
This is a famous barbecue restaurant in Chile
Sometimes it’s full even on weekdays
It is recommended that if you want to dine, you can book a table on the website
Otherwise, it may be difficult to find a seat during peak meal times!
I just made a reservation two days ago
When you go there, show your seat name to the counter and he will take you to your seat! But maybe it’s because the business is very good, so my attitude is okay but I don’t hide my impatience!
I ordered a few dishes and I must introduce them.
❤️ empanada
This is a specialty snack that you will definitely eat when you come to Chile! As soon as you enter the store, these items will be on the table. There are two kinds in my photo...one is the authentic meat-wrapped one! The other one is wrapped in cheese~two kinds are paired with the salsa they provide... super delicious!
❤️Grilled Pork Ribs
A very fragrant and delicious rib! The ribs are grilled fragrantly on the outside and tender on the inside. Served with a unique sauce... with a little sweetness! The overall combination is super plus point
❤️Roasted Chicken
Even the seemingly ordinary roast chicken is roasted very fragrant and delicious! I thought the chicken breast would be dry and hard when grilled like this...but the charcoal aroma was fully integrated into the meat! Very delicious~
Overall the food tastes really good! If you are traveling to Chile, you can consider dining here!

Today I went to Raohe Night Market for a late-night snack. Unexpectedly, it was already close to 12 o'clock in the morning. Many shops in the night market were already preparing to close. When I was worried about having nothing to eat, I saw this restaurant at No. 2 near the end of Raohe Street. The store serves kebabs and is open until one o'clock in the morning, which is just enough to satisfy our hungry stomachs.
The store's main products are various skewers, including meat rolls, soy products, offal, and vegetables. What’s also special is that the store also sells stir-fried dishes, so you can order some of your favorite stir-fried dishes while eating skewers! 👌🤩🤩
We picked up almost every kind of product once. I personally highly recommend the meat rolls, including enoki mushroom meat rolls, onion meat rolls, and the less common onion meat rolls. The price of a bunch of meat rolls is about $45-50. It’s a little pricey for 1 yuan, but it’s delicious💯
In addition, I highly recommend the vegetables. The heat of the barbecue is very well controlled. It will not be overcooked but will not retain the raw taste of the vegetables. The taste of the ingredients itself is brought out just right through the barbecue sauce. After eating the meat, You can also give it a try!
If you go to Raohe Night Market and want to eat some skewers, you can check it out👀

The service was very good, no issues. The service staff will help you grill the meat and grill it very well. So as long as everyone is responsible for eating and chatting, I personally feel very comfortable and have no pressure.
The quality of the meat is also very good and very fresh. However, the unit price is relatively high, so those with budget considerations may consider taking a look at the menu first.
We had a large party (11) and made the mistake of booking online instead of calling that led to a bit of confusion at the beginning since we booked two separate parties (8 and 3). It worked out in the end but probably left us with less stoves, but anyway it worked out okay.
The vibe is great, the downstairs area has booths where small parties can barbeque and watch TV on a little tablet, and upstairs is decorated like a camping area with small rocks, large tables, camping seats, and there are Christmas lights hanging from the ceiling.
Food took quite a while to arrive though, perhaps was just really busy and understaffed. And of course we still have to cook it ourselves. They have a nice chicken broth for free to whet appetites. Food itself was nice and fresh, and we were happy cooking and chatting away. Something a bit odd is lack of regular water, there's not even bottled water for sale.
But anyway we still like the place very much, just fun and relaxing. I hear that it's less crowded for lunch and maybe that's the better way to go for next time.
This was a very cool experience, bbqing in the night air, surrounded by cute cats. As we entered we saw a worker firing up a batch of charcoal making pretty sparks. It was surprisingly cheap without sacrificing quality-- all you can eat, grab what you want, cook yourself and eat. They also had rice with marinated pork and noodles to go with everything. My favorite items was barbequing mackerel and fish collar. The charcoal grill is also just right, it's not too easy to burn things and you can get a nice crisp browning when cooking the food. Would definitely come again. When we went there were a lot of mosquitos though so prepare repellent. And we also went on off peak travel so it was not crowded.
This time I went to eat with friends. The delivery of meat and ingredients was a bit slow. Because we can only order the next time after they are delivered, the ordering speed was also very slow. Moreover, the two ovens actually shared the same ordering QR code. , the ingredients are all delicious, and the Haagen-Dazs in the buffet bar is also very good, but the ordering and delivery speed need to be improved.
Friday night is all about skewers and draft beer! I originally wanted to eat at Pindu but what’s going on with more people today == It’s a good idea if you have a smart friend, order this place first to register🥹
Order skewers directly outside, and order alcoholic beverages and other noodle soups with QR codes on the table. Adding some wine and ordering directly on your phone is really dangerous. You may drink too much if you are not careful...
Back to the food itself, the first place tonight goes to the tofu skin, which is baked to a sweet and crispy texture, with a little bit of the tenderness of the tofu skin still inside; the apple pork belly is a small highlight, with a little fruit to balance out the greasiness. But overall the taste is too strong...the sauce seems to be too much, and the dry noodles are a bit too salty. I need some wine to quench my thirst.
The meal time is 100 minutes, the clerk will remind you when the time is up. The food was served quickly and the atmosphere was pretty good (the song list included Jay Chou's FIR Chinese hits). This is a reference for friends who just want to eat skewers but don’t want to order all the dishes and can tolerate heavier flavors.
