Passing by the area, I happened to go in with a friend to have hot stir-fry, and the business seemed quite good.
Let me share some impressions of the dishes one by one.
The salmon fried rice was fragrant, with distinct grains of rice that weren't too oily; it was quite delicious.
The golden sand tofu was also fried to perfection, and the side garlic and scallions greatly enhanced the flavor. The tofu inside was very elastic, and the texture was quite special, making it highly recommended.
The Thai-style cold century egg dish consists of century eggs topped with a lot of onions and drizzled with Thai sauce. Personally, I think it’s not worth ordering; it doesn’t have anything special about it, and the price isn’t cheap.
The shrimp rolls had a small portion and weren’t anything special. I do not recommend them.
The fried leaf fish is highly recommended; it's much better than the fried leaf fish typically found at salt and crispy chicken stalls. It's not greasy and very fresh!
The spicy twice-cooked pork is not recommended at all. This dish only had a strong soy sauce flavor with no other taste, and it was overly salty, making it quite a poor dish.
The shrimp vermicelli pot is quite recommended; the shrimp were very fresh, and the vermicelli absorbed the flavors well. The sweetness of the shrimp infused into the vermicelli, and the portion was decent. Overall, it's a good dish.
The fried dragon balls had a relatively good quantity, but they were very small—I've seen the smallest fried dragon balls ever, and the flavor was average.
Overall, the portion sizes of the dishes offered by the restaurant were small, so it wasn’t very satisfying, and the value for money was low. There was quite a variation in the quality of the dishes; some were tasty and fresh, but others not only had insufficient portions but also lacked flavor and proper seasoning.
Most importantly, the speed of service was far too slow. I was seated at 8 PM, and the last dish only arrived around 10 PM. It felt like I was dining at a French restaurant with the two-hour meal duration. There is significant room for improvement here.
A friend recommended this place, where everything is freshly made upon order, so there is a wait. There aren't many indoor seats, but the business is good, so you might have to wait occasionally. There's no service charge, but they do not provide drinking water.
My friend recommended the Matsusaka pork and the pig tail, so I ordered the Matsusaka pork and a chicken thigh. Although it’s on the pricey side, the portions are large, and you can customize your order using a QR code. You can add $140 to upgrade to a set meal, which includes a drink and dessert – a snowflake caramel pudding.
The side dishes for the grilled meat rice are generous, and there’s zucchini, which is somewhat different from other grilled meat rice places; it’s more refined and Western-style. The soft-boiled egg is delicious, cooked just right. The Matsusaka pork is grilled to be tender and juicy, not dry or tough. The technique is excellent; I’ve found that the Matsusaka pork at other restaurants is usually too tough or dry. The chicken thigh is also grilled perfectly; although some parts are slightly charred, it imparts a nice smoky flavor, and the meat is very tender and juicy.
The dessert comes highly recommended by my friend as well. The snowflakes on top are actually salty cheese, and paired with the sweet caramel pudding, the flavor is quite unique. The pudding has a dense and delicious texture, which you can't find elsewhere. If you enjoy trying new things, you should give it a go; it’s a very different combination of sweet and salty.
You can pay with cash or Line Pay, and they provide cloud invoices that can be processed via a device.
The owner of this store is a couple who just moved from Taipei to Taitung. They are very kind and hospitable, and the little neighbor girl often comes to play with them. This time I brought a friend to eat, and the owner’s wife treated us to a plate of edamame, which was very delicious! It wasn't too salty like the ones sold in supermarkets.
The barbecue shop itself has a unique kitchen; the cooking cart is placed outside the door, so there are no issues with indoor smoking or other problems. So every time I ride past Kaifeng Street after crossing the bridge, I see a little food cart parked at the entrance of the shop. I recommend ordering some zucchini and baby corn vegetables, as well as the grilled chicken hearts and intestines, which are also very tasty. Everything is grilled just right, not too greasy, and the flavors aren’t overwhelming. Although the portions are not large and the prices are a bit high, you can tell that the ingredients are handled very cleanly, making it a place where you can eat with peace of mind.
In addition to this barbecue shop, there is also the owner's wife’s Hawaiian massage studio on the second floor. Friends who are interested can go and experience it as well.
This restaurant 🍴 is where I came after reading the reviews!
The restaurant is located on the second floor, and if you're not paying attention, it's easy to walk past it. There are quite a few seats inside, and as soon as you enter, you can immediately feel the ample heating!
The owner greeted us warmly and helped us to sit down.
There is only one chef in the kitchen and one owner serving, but the service is very fast and attentive!
Additionally, the owner personally came to our table to grill the meat for us.
We ordered:
❤️ The only beef option on the menu 🥩
In Korea, many people often choose grilled pork, but since my friend usually eats less pork and chicken 🐔, we ordered the only steak available. The quality of the beef was quite good, and the owner personally cooked it for us to about medium rare—slightly bloody, but the tenderness and firmness were just right! The owner let us try some first before finally helping us to divide it evenly! They also provided vegetables and chili 🌶️ that we could mix according to our preferences. The whole king oyster mushroom was fantastic—grilled it smelled great and slightly enhanced the vegetables!
❤️ Hotpot 🍲
Since the weather was really cold, we also ordered a hotpot. We initially thought they would add our ordered ingredients directly into the pot they provided, but surprisingly, they brought the entire pot to our table after it was cooked. There were indeed plenty of vegetables 🥬, but not much meat. It had a slightly spicy taste, making it a great choice for cold weather!
Overall, I would quite recommend this barbecue restaurant, as the meat is fresh, simple, and straightforward without requiring too many complicated choices! If I’m in the area and not sure what to eat, I might consider it!
🍢 Kaohsiung Sanmin ▫️ Around the Houyi Business District
🍢 A popular stir-fried and charcoal-grilled restaurant that has been thriving for over twenty years
This charcoal-grilled stir-fry restaurant located on Nanjing Street
Is always packed inside and out during weekends
It is said to have started as a roadside stall in 1997
And has developed into a two-story restaurant👏🏻
My first visit was a family gathering with a large group
Due to the slow serving speed and lackluster dishes
My impression of the place wasn’t very positive
But one day, I decided to give it another chance
And I could clearly feel the improvement🎉
(Of course, it’s also possible that the chef just had an off day the first time🤔)
From then on, my family became regulars, visiting every month❤️
Besides the fragrant aroma of charcoal-grilled dishes wafting from outside the restaurant
Every bite served at the table carries the unique flavor of charcoal🔥
A-Hong's stir-fried dishes are equally outstanding
Each dish shows a careful selection of ingredients
Especially the seafood, which allows one to truly savor fresh flavors🦐
During this visit, the dining area of the restaurant
Was originally their "Next Door" hot pot restaurant🍲
After it closed down, they retained the hot pot decor
Allowing customers to enjoy meals in a more comfortable space🥘
If you place a high emphasis on overall value for money 𝗖𝗣
A-Hong's prices may not be very friendly
But if you care about ingredient selection and delicious cooking
I think it’s worth giving it a chance to shine
After all, the stir-fried and charcoal-grilled dishes here are definitely worth trying
It's a great spot for gathering with a few friends and enjoying drinks✨
In the evening, I wanted to come to Magic Island to watch the sunset and have dinner to chill. Unexpectedly, I saw a long queue on the roadside. After parking my car, I joined the queue. It turned out to be a BBQ restaurant with rice as the main meal.
Because the prices in Hawaii are really high, seeing that the meat he gave me was very large, I naturally felt more at ease mentally. I ordered the mixed platter series, where you can eat his grilled chicken, pork, and beef. Chicken is probably the most suitable for Taiwanese people's taste, it is tender and juicy; pork may have been marinated first and has an inexplicable sweetness, which I don't like very much; beef is actually grilled well, but a bit too oily. Later, I added a bottle of Sprite, and the overall taste was even better!
Unfortunately, it rained heavily, so I had to finish this lunch with my colleagues in the car🤣
This article is a repost. I took my mom to eat there on Mother's Day. It's basically a high-end BBQ restaurant of Ganbei Group. The meat and service are very high.
Every time I eat, I feel very good. But every time I eat, I feel too full. Especially the freshly cut steak. Because every time it is freshly cut and left to mature. Usually after one round of eating, Only then will the service staff come to the table and grill it for you. At this time, most people can no longer eat. I am the only one left to work hard. Every time I finish eating, I feel that I should not order the freshly cut steak next time. .but I still can’t help but cut it every time I see it.
Thick-cut beef tongue is my favorite meat. It is tender and delicious without being too tough. I must order it every time. The beef intestine is also one of my personal favorites. Although it is not easy to bite, it is really delicious. People's wishes are still unfinished.
Overall, although it's not cheap, it's one of the few places in Taiwan where you can get delicious Japanese-style yakisoba.
This is a famous barbecue restaurant in Chile
Sometimes it’s full even on weekdays
It is recommended that if you want to dine, you can book a table on the website
Otherwise, it may be difficult to find a seat during peak meal times!
I just made a reservation two days ago
When you go there, show your seat name to the counter and he will take you to your seat! But maybe it’s because the business is very good, so my attitude is okay but I don’t hide my impatience!
I ordered a few dishes and I must introduce them.
❤️ empanada
This is a specialty snack that you will definitely eat when you come to Chile! As soon as you enter the store, these items will be on the table. There are two kinds in my photo...one is the authentic meat-wrapped one! The other one is wrapped in cheese~two kinds are paired with the salsa they provide... super delicious!
❤️Grilled Pork Ribs
A very fragrant and delicious rib! The ribs are grilled fragrantly on the outside and tender on the inside. Served with a unique sauce... with a little sweetness! The overall combination is super plus point
❤️Roasted Chicken
Even the seemingly ordinary roast chicken is roasted very fragrant and delicious! I thought the chicken breast would be dry and hard when grilled like this...but the charcoal aroma was fully integrated into the meat! Very delicious~
Overall the food tastes really good! If you are traveling to Chile, you can consider dining here!

Today I went to Raohe Night Market for a late-night snack. Unexpectedly, it was already close to 12 o'clock in the morning. Many shops in the night market were already preparing to close. When I was worried about having nothing to eat, I saw this restaurant at No. 2 near the end of Raohe Street. The store serves kebabs and is open until one o'clock in the morning, which is just enough to satisfy our hungry stomachs.
The store's main products are various skewers, including meat rolls, soy products, offal, and vegetables. What’s also special is that the store also sells stir-fried dishes, so you can order some of your favorite stir-fried dishes while eating skewers! 👌🤩🤩
We picked up almost every kind of product once. I personally highly recommend the meat rolls, including enoki mushroom meat rolls, onion meat rolls, and the less common onion meat rolls. The price of a bunch of meat rolls is about $45-50. It’s a little pricey for 1 yuan, but it’s delicious💯
In addition, I highly recommend the vegetables. The heat of the barbecue is very well controlled. It will not be overcooked but will not retain the raw taste of the vegetables. The taste of the ingredients itself is brought out just right through the barbecue sauce. After eating the meat, You can also give it a try!
If you go to Raohe Night Market and want to eat some skewers, you can check it out👀

The service was very good, no issues. The service staff will help you grill the meat and grill it very well. So as long as everyone is responsible for eating and chatting, I personally feel very comfortable and have no pressure.
The quality of the meat is also very good and very fresh. However, the unit price is relatively high, so those with budget considerations may consider taking a look at the menu first.
