The Subway store in Qizhang is located in the urban area of Xindian City, with the nearest MRT station being Qizhang Station Exit 1, about a 1-minute walk away. The store used to be on the first floor of an adjacent alley, making it hard to spot from the sidewalk, but it has since moved to its current corner location. The first floor has the ordering counter and a few seats, while the second floor is the main seating area. The decor is primarily in light colors, creating a comfortable atmosphere.

I forgot whether it was wheat or parmesan cheese bread 😅 I included all the vegetables but no pickled items, and I only added olive oil as the sauce. (There are many sauces that could make it tastier, but I personally prefer a more self-punishing (x) light route 🥺) However, this combination allows the original flavors of the ingredients to shine through. The thick-cut beef is also quite soft and plentiful, paired with melted cheese—super satisfying.

Subway’s customized preparation offers great versatility in meals, allowing for a luxurious experience with a variety of sauces and side dishes, or extremely light and healthy options. The long operating hours and minimal waiting time make it a very friendly spot for working people. The downside is that the prices keep rising, which isn’t friendly to the wallet, hence the deduction of 0.5⭐.

Once again, this is a charming little shop that caught my eye with its decor. I initially only wanted to take a look, but I was intrigued by the menu! Since I was in Korea, I wanted to try some local food, so I didn’t opt for the signature hamburgers or rib dishes. Instead, I ordered a seaweed rice roll filled with homemade luncheon meat and homemade kimchi, along with an iced Americano.

The luncheon meat was not overly salty; the seasoning was just right, with a rich meaty flavor that melted in my mouth! The rice was slightly sticky, and the kimchi had a bit of tanginess, cut into small pieces that didn’t require much chewing, adding a nice texture. The nori had a milder sesame oil flavor than I expected, just a hint of nuttiness. Overall, it was very pleasant to eat!

The iced Americano was impressive! Perhaps because I had eaten something a bit salty, the sweetness of the iced Americano was brought out? In any case, the moment it touched my tongue, I could feel its aroma and sweetness! Very nice~

This submarine sandwich chain is located near Neihu MRT Station and features a large dining area spanning two floors, and they even provide restrooms!

For example, today, my meal did not come with napkins, which is disappointing! The submarine sandwich itself is okay, consistent with the chain's quality.

If you want more meat, you can consider grilled chicken and thick-cut tender beef.
