The area around Wanli City has a lot of these Vietnamese and Cambodian dishes, which share the common feature of being very affordable and having large portions.
Vietnamese spring rolls $50 are super cheap, but they mainly consist of cabbage and are very vegetarian, with just a little bit of shrimp meat.
Curry rice $100 comes in a super large bowl, enough for two people to be full; the white rice is definitely twice the amount found in a bento shop. The curry sauce has a slight Southeast Asian flavor and is quite tasty; we ordered it with beef (sliced beef).
Shredded chicken salad $100 is perfect for when you don't have much of an appetite, as this cold dish is sweet and sour, and it really stimulates the appetite. The portion size is quite large and the amount of vegetables is adequate.
In summary, I wouldn't say this place is exceptionally delicious, but it’s the kind of neighborhood small shop with fairly reasonable prices, and the food is okay. I’ll visit again when I occasionally crave Southeast Asian cuisine.
