Since I was dining with friends, I didn’t pay close attention to the taste and texture of each dish. I thought the milk tea soup would be strange, but it turned out to be delicious, and it can be made cold or hot, with beautiful cups. Overall, the other dishes were quite good. It was a bit challenging to order because some of the names didn’t convey what they were; many dishes looked dark but were tasty. A more famous dish in Shaanxi cuisine is Paomo, which I tried for the first time. You have to tear the bread and give it to the kitchen for them to prepare. The flavor of the soup was excellent and quite a large bowl. The fried milk tofu was what I looked forward to the most. It had a familiar flavor, somewhat like a cheesy traditional donut, but with a less soft texture; it was quite unique and perfect as a dessert.
Overall, the flavors were quite special, but they tended to be very salty or quite spicy, so those who are sensitive to spice may want to ask about the heat level. I made an early reservation for a small private room (no door, but it was relatively private) with a minimum spend of $5500. On holidays, we visited around noon and the place was already packed right when they opened. It’s definitely worth trying out as a gathering restaurant!
P.S. I may have forgotten some dish names and pictures, so please excuse me for not labeling everything.
The second floor has a large round table that can seat 15 people, which is very nice and seems to have karaoke as well. It feels like it has been open for several years, but the environment is relatively clean and comfortable, and the decor has a distinct Shaanxi style; there are even terracotta warriors, which are super cool.
Our group of 15, big and small, had a very filling meal with distinctive dishes. The only downside was that the first floor was full and there were two tables occupied on the second floor, so the service was a bit slow. The lamb skewers, pig trotter, big plate chicken, lamb soup, and milk tofu were all very delicious and rich in flavor. I’m not sure how authentic it is, but it was definitely tasty, and it was fantastic to also be able to sing and drink.
🔱 Yin Ma Ci 🔱
Xi’an cuisine is rare~
Yin Ma Ci is located on the fourth floor of Wanda, you can see it when you go up the escalator.
Shaanxi is a province that specializes in pasta. It is famous for its various pastas, including cold noodles, and its meat capsules are also very famous.
Today I ordered the set meal on Dianping - Single [Selection] Sanqin set meal. ¥28.8, plus an additional serving of fried oyster mushrooms (¥10)
✔️ Sesame sauce cold skin (slightly spicy)
The cold skin is quite strong and topped with some sesame sauce.
Mahjong is also a bit spicy, which is quite suitable for people who don’t like spicy food (like me)
✔️ Roujiamo🥙
The dough is very crispy and tastes very good.
The one I chose is fat and thin, and there are some green peppers in it to increase its refreshing and crispiness. Cut it in half and share it with your colleagues.
✔️ Fried oyster mushrooms
To put it simply, it’s fried mushrooms 🍄
It was freshly fried and was still very hot when you got it. The mushrooms are delicious and the dough is not too thick. I highly recommend this.
✔️Bingfeng
The orange soda in Xi'an, a very famous local soda, is most likely an imitation of Fanta...it tastes just like Fanta. . .
Roujiamo originated in Shaanxi, China. In the Shaanxi dialect of the Guanzhong area, Baijimo filled with various ingredients is called "Jiamo". Then you can add the name of the ingredients in front, such as Caijiamo and Steamed buns with cured meat. Outside of Shaanxi, the roujiamo in some places is grilled using a method similar to Turkish barbecue. In addition, adding green pepper is also a popular way to eat it!
✅Super Full No. 1: The set meal includes fried noodles, classic Tongguan Roujiamo, secret bird eggs and drinks. The fried noodles look quite good visually, with vegetables, bean sprouts, carrots, coriander, spicy noodles and other ingredients placed on it. The name of the dish looks very spicy, but in fact it is too spicy. However, the seasoning is full of spicy aroma, and it is very delicious when paired with Q-bomb wide roll noodles. The Roujiamo is made with diced braised pork, diced green peppers and braised pork. Bird eggs, so it tastes like the salty aroma of braised pork and the crispness of green peppers. Coupled with the rich taste of bird eggs, the taste is quite rich. The crust alone is also full of flour flavor, but the only slight drawback is that it is not crispy enough, but the overall taste is still highly recommended. For drinks, you can choose black tea, soda or sour plum soup. This time I am sharing the "Secret Sour Plum Soup". The taste is slightly sour and a little sweet, which makes people feel more mouth-watering as they drink.
✅Grilled pork buns: This type of pork buns is served with sliced pork and cabbage. It tastes very refreshing. Each piece of pork is very large, and the texture is not only tender and juicy, but also has no pig smell.

This restaurant has four different options for their Roujiamo, and both of them tasted great this time! It is also highly recommended to gourmets who are trying it for the first time or who already love Roujiamo. If you don’t want to eat Roujiamo, there are also other special noodles you can eat~
