A friend's recommended place. After visiting the fish scale ladder that day, we came here. It seemed like almost all the customers were taking out. From the time we sat down until we were about to leave, only one other group of customers arrived. The dining area is outdoors and quite simple; I feel like there would be a lot of mosquitoes in the summer. Below are the dishes we ordered that day.
▪️Blue cheese spicy chicken + artichoke green sauce chicken $400
It's a large 13-inch pizza (according to Google reviews), and it's considerate that you can choose a half-and-half option. We picked two flavors, and I think both paired quite well. While the toppings weren't extremely generous, the ratio with the cheese and pizza crust was just right. The highlight was the pizza crust, which was delicious. It's freshly baked hand-made pizza, thick but not overly so. It tastes great even when taken home and reheated, highly recommend.
▪️New York Buffalo-style spicy chicken wings $130/6 pieces
▪️Cheese sticks $90/6 pieces
▪️Calamari $190
The chicken wings have a slightly sour and spicy flavor, and the cheese sticks must be eaten hot, otherwise, they won't have that stretchy quality. The calamari is fried to a nice crisp, and the squid is very tender.
Overall, I highly recommend their pizza. The crust is fragrant and tasty, and you can choose the flavors that you like. The calamari is also good, making it a great place for takeout if you live nearby.

400 Degree C - The Number One Pizza 🍕🍕🍕
This 400 Degree C pizza is the highest-rated pizza shop on Tabelog in Japan and has also been selected for the Top 100 and Michelin Guide recommendations 👑
The second location is situated in a newly opened food mall, featuring a self-service seating arrangement. The environment is decorated in a wooden style, and on weekday evenings, it’s not too crowded, making it a very comfortable place to enjoy dinner.
The pizza offerings are quite simple, many of them are variations of Margherita, with a diameter of 25 cm, suitable for one person.
🥘
Menu Items
🍯 FNT Honey Blue Cheese Pizza (¥2,699):
Signature dish! A very simple and straightforward pizza, with the star ingredient being a rich blue cheese sauce.
Additionally, two packets of honey are provided for self-service addition.
Upon tasting, the flavors of this pizza are astonishing; the blue cheese is incredibly rich and smooth, with a flavor that is not too pungent or greasy.
The crust is very thin! Yet it retains a nice chewiness and elasticity, with the edges baked to a fluffy hollow, but not bread-like.
A small downside is that the outer layer is slightly burnt.
🍅 Margherita (¥1,799):
Topped with mozzarella cheese, basil, and tomato sauce.
Simple and delicious! This Margherita is prepared to a very delightful standard, with each ingredient playing its own important role in the flavor profile.
🍄
Will I revisit? Yes!
This is probably the best pizza I've ever had in my life!
An unforgettable good taste 🤤🤤

🔸 Self-service checkout is required; credit cards, PayPay, and other electronic payments are accepted (but no Quicpay).
You can order food using a QR code and pay with Line Pay credit card. The pizza comes in different sizes: 9-inch, 12-inch, and 18-inch. There is also an option to order a single slice of 18-inch pizza, allowing you to choose based on your appetite. Additionally, drinks can be purchased at the self-serve bar for unlimited refills.
I ordered the 9-inch troublesome pizza (which has pineapple 🍍 in it) and added salsa tortilla chips and fried chicken. The fried chicken is freshly fried, and it's tender and juicy, making it very satisfying. However, the tortilla chips felt a bit cold and somewhat damp, which was a bit disappointing.
The pizza has a thin crust, and it's freshly baked, making it crispy with a hint of spiciness, satisfying the occasional craving for pizza 🍕. This place is suitable for individuals who want to enjoy pizza without ordering too much.
⚲ Aunty Su's Pizza House 🍕
Located at the MRT Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall Station, next to the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall and Zhongshan Park, this is an old-school pizza shop.
"Delicious pizza can't be rushed!" is a slogan from the dining table.
During mealtime, especially on holidays, you really have to line up patiently!
Although the exterior is simple and unpretentious, the dishes are aromatic and delicious.
I’ve been craving this place for a while (I haven’t eaten here in too long 🤤).

Appetizers:
Today's selected soup of the day
A bowl filled with plenty of mushrooms
and tender shredded chicken in a mushroom clear soup.
Garlic bread
Classic-style garlic bread
that pairs nicely with a thick soup.
3 pieces of Dongbeila fried chicken (+ fries)
Taiwanese-style fried chicken
with a thin crispy skin and tender meat.
It’s served hot 🔥, so be careful not to burn your mouth,
but it’s filled with chicken juice and has a tender texture.
So delicious 🤤.
For pizza, I chose the seafood essence flavor on both visits.
Small size - Thin crust.
Packed with filling, you can taste crab meat and shrimp in every bite.
The thin crust is slightly crispy, but I personally still prefer the one with a bit of doughy fragrance (the first time I ordered the thick crust).
Next time, I want to try the thick crust pizza!
It’s currently my favorite flavor (I’ll try different flavors next time XD).
After finishing the meal, two people were really full!
You can’t really choose too many varieties,
so I suggest gathering more people to share the food!
That way you can enjoy a more varied meal!

Dickson’s Fooday Review #269
This time I am here to review a pizza place that I personally think is super delicious!!
This pizza shop is located near Tonghua Street.
Although the shop looks small,
their pizza is really super delicious!!
Don't underestimate this shop.
They have quite a variety of pizzas,
and they also offer different seasonal flavors!
Additionally, I think the prices are reasonable.
Most importantly, the flavors are quite distinct and unique~~
Moreover, some flavors are not available at other pizza places!
For this shop, I personally recommend takeaway.
After all, there isn't much seating inside,
and many times, you might have to stand outside in the open area to eat your pizza.
They also sell pizza by the slice or as a whole pie, depending on the size.
It’s best to tell the shop in advance what flavors and quantities you want,
and then come back at the designated time to pick up your order.
I personally recommend this method:
First, decide what flavors you want to eat,
then happily come here to place your order,
and finally take the pizza home for a big feast.
Just thinking about it makes me so happy!!
I can only say that the pizzas here are truly delicious.
If you’re preparing food for gatherings,
I would definitely recommend ordering a few boxes of pizza here first.
At the gathering, the food you prepare will surely be the best!

👉 Spicy Maple Bacon $170
This flavor of pizza is really special.
You can taste the sweetness of the maple syrup,
but it also has a bit of spiciness.
The conflicting flavors make it truly impressive!
Although it has a hint of spiciness,
I think this level of heat should be acceptable to most people~
However, this makes the overall flavor of the pizza quite amazing!
👉 Matsusaka Bacon Pineapple $170
Although the combination of Matsusaka bacon and pineapple on pizza seems common,
the overall flavor created by this pizza shop is just fantastic!
Overall, all the flavors of pizza I’ve tried here are really fantastic.
It’s somewhat hard to describe just how good it is,
but it’s completely different from what you typically find at pizza chains!
Friends who love pizza really must come here to try it out,
especially since you can order a small slice here.
It’s really convenient to eat on the spot~~
Additionally, you can see the actual pizzas displayed in the shop windows,
which makes it easy to know what flavors you want or don’t want.
In summary, in my opinion, this is truly one of the top pizza places in Taipei!
⭐️ Service
When ordering at this small shop,
the staff are very enthusiastic about introducing the different pizza flavors,
and they will let you know the estimated waiting time.
At this point, you can stroll around nearby and come back to pick up your pizza~
So for the service, I think it is quite standard!
⭐️ Price
Actually, I think the prices at this pizza place are not too expensive,
especially since their pizza flavors are quite unique and delicious.
Moreover, it’s very considerate that we can choose to just order a slice.
For those who need a whole pizza,
you can also choose to buy an entire pie to take home.
So the price options are quite flexible!
I think this is really great.
You can enjoy different flavors of pizza at quite an affordable price.
It truly benefits us single folks 😂😂😂
⭐️ Overall
I think the pizzas at this shop are really quite good.
However, the main focus is on the pizza,
so if you need other types of food,
you would have to go somewhere else.
But in terms of pizza, they perform exceptionally well.
If I'm going to buy pizza,
this place would definitely be my first choice!
I highly recommend everyone to come and try it out!
The "8818 Pizza Restaurant" has been on my must-try list for quite some time, and I finally found the time to check it out. The atmosphere of the restaurant is quite nice, especially with the thoughtful decorations for Halloween. There were portraits of celebrities eating pizza and fried chicken hanging on the walls, like Bruce Lee, Michael Jackson, and Marilyn Monroe, which immediately gives a relaxed and humorous vibe as soon as you walk in.
This time, I ordered the seafood pizza and the Mexican chili pizza, both of which were quite delicious. Their pizzas are generously topped, especially the seafood pizza, which has plenty of fresh ingredients. The Mexican chili pizza has a moderate spiciness with a hint of tang from the chili, paired with rich cheese, creating a well-balanced flavor. The pizza crust is thin, but not overly crispy; it has a bit of elasticity that makes it chewy, which I quite like—it gives a satisfying and hearty feeling when you eat it.
I noticed some diners at another table enjoying the fried chicken, and it looked very appetizing, making me want to order it too 🤤. However, the price is a bit on the higher side, so I decided to skip it this time and try it next time. Overall, "8818 Pizza Restaurant" not only offers great dishes, but the environment and ambiance are also very comfortable, making it a perfect place to enjoy a leisurely meal with friends.
"Pizza Hut" is probably familiar to everyone, as they always introduce some creative and taste-bud-challenging unique flavored pizzas, constantly pushing the boundaries for Italians. This year, especially with their Halloween and baseball-themed pizzas, they came up with new twists. However, my experience this time was rather disappointing. This review specifically addresses the pizzas I tasted this time.
Let's start with this year's Halloween pizza. The toppings on this pizza include black pudding, century eggs, and black squid tentacles, which indeed present a visual impact, but the overall taste performance wasn't very good. There was a new attempt with the crust; they replaced the cheese-stuffed crust with "spicy tomato mochi," which feels like fusing tomato sauce and chili sauce into mochi. I thought this combination was quite interesting, but my colleagues were not accustomed to the taste.
Next is the baseball park pizza, which features different toppings for different areas, like the "third base inner area" packed with ham slices that were too salty to swallow, while the outer base area was too bland, as if no salt was added at all. The most frustrating part was the base pads section, which they made with small meatballs, but these meatballs had a strong gamey taste, suggesting they might not have been fresh enough.
Overall, these two unique flavored pizzas were very disappointing. The creativity might have been an attempt to create a buzz, but the flavors indeed hit a landmine. If you're going to Pizza Hut, I would advise skipping these limited-edition flavors and going back to order some classic pizzas to be on the safe side!
Location: London, England
After visiting Cambridge University, I returned to King's Cross Station, where there is a real Platform 9¾. After wandering around the station, I rushed to the pizza place I had researched beforehand because the reviews online stated it had great value for money. Filled with anticipation, I stepped into the restaurant.
🌟 Pepperoni
It has a texture similar to American-style sausage. The base is primarily tomato sauce, but with the seasoned sausage, the flavor is heavier compared to others. It's perfect for a guilty pleasure like pizza, and it truly deserves its top recommendation online.
🌟 Tropicali
This is what everyone commonly refers to as Hawaiian pizza. Since my personal favorite flavor is Hawaiian, I found that the taste is quite similar to what I've had in Taiwan. Overall, while it may lack distinctiveness, I still gave it a high score because I love Hawaiian pizza.
🌟 I can't finish pizza without a drink, so I chose the boring Coca-Cola. However, the price for the Coke is quite steep, costing £1.90 for a cup (which is similar to Taiwan where drinks are quite profitable 🥺).
Overall, the pizza crust is a type of wood-fired thin crust. By the end, I could truly taste the aroma of the dough, and unlike in Taiwan, I don’t find myself discarding the last bits of crust. The best part is that this restaurant is right next to one of the biggest stations in London and is surprisingly affordable yet delicious. We ordered two whole 12-inch pizzas for just over £20, which is an amazing deal. I highly recommend everyone to try it if you visit King's Cross Station to see the Harry Potter Platform 9¾!
Today is the return trip after visiting Oxford University. By the time we got back, there weren't many dining options near the hotel, so we decided to eat at a Pizza Hut located in the food court of a department store. The difference from Pizza Hut in Taiwan is that, perhaps because it's an express version, everything comes as individual meals - personal pizzas, personal fries, and a drink each. We just happened to see a combo with four flavors, and it seemed super affordable, so we decided to have that for dinner.
🌟 Margherita Pizza
It had a nice balance of tomato and cheese flavors, quite even and without any overpowering taste issues. Overall, it was quite acceptable.
🌟 American Sausage Pizza
This was my favorite among the four options. I rated it No. 1, as the flavor was quite rich. The American sausage combined with the sauce was outstanding, completely satisfying my craving for pizza.
🌟 Super Chicken Pizza
Actually, the taste wasn't bad either. The chicken didn't turn out too dry from baking. Overall, it was delicious, but the part that ruined it for me was the bell peppers. I personally really dislike bell peppers and feel they ruin everything, so no matter how delicious the chicken was, I couldn’t give it a good rating. 🤪🤪🤪
🌟 Vegetable and Fresh Mushroom Pizza
I wanted to choose four different pizzas, and at that time, I wasn't sure what to select, so I just randomly picked this one. The taste leaned towards being a bit bland, and it was vegetarian-friendly, so it didn't leave much of an impression overall. Plus, it also had bell peppers, so (next one down).
🌟 Fries
This time, we had fries with almost every meal. The fries at Pizza Hut are quite similar to the ones at KFC in Taiwan. They have a crisp texture, and since we were dining in the food court, they were really crispy and delicious – much better than the McDonald's fries we had in the UK a few days ago. 😂😂
🌟 The drink was Pepsi.
The accompanying drink was basically from a soda fountain, belonging to the Pepsi brand. It tasted like standard Pepsi from anywhere in the world.
Overall, because we had the pizza dine-in, it was quite hot, and since we usually get takeaway pizza in Taiwan, this was a refreshing change. Consequently, it tasted very delicious. I highly recommend anyone looking for high-value pizza to try chain Pizza Hut; it’s a meal that won’t disappoint you.
