Since my last visit to try the final meal at Raw... I can't stop thinking about the creative concepts behind the dishes. Chef Craig Yang, the mastermind behind Tableau, is originally from Raw. You can feel the chef's clever combination of Chinese and French cuisine through the dishes. For example, a dish that initially looks like Italian dumplings actually combines elements of Chinese beef noodles! The beef is wrapped in dumplings, and the sauce outside is a fresh tomato sauce reminiscent of the one found in beef noodles! Such thoughtful creations make me excited for more unique dishes in the future! Currently, the restaurant only offers a lunch menu on two days, and the value for this set meal is incredibly high! It's definitely worth making a reservation! 👍
Received a Michelin one star ⭐️ Each dish is full of thoughtfulness
Blending Eastern and Western ingredients and cultures, each dish is carefully introduced upon serving.
What impressed me the most was the Gua Bao! It contained Wagyu beef and duck liver, making the meat juicy; I really enjoyed this blend of East and West. Another surprise was the sheep cheese in the first picture, although the lamb flavor was quite strong here.
Before dessert, they asked if we wanted to add noodles? They were concerned that we might not be full (laughs).
I decided to skip the oil-splashed noodles since they contained cilantro sauce.
They even prepared a small gift for us to take home.
What we took home was a small portion of pasta sauce/noodles/drinks, along with a card that had the complete English menu.

This restaurant is quite popular in Paris as well, but mostly locals know about it. It seems there are rarely other Asians seen in the restaurant. I’m someone who loves to chase Michelin stars 💫, so when I saw this restaurant 🍴 received a Michelin star, I just had to try it!
When I entered the restaurant, I actually arrived early. They weren’t ready with our table yet, so they initially seated us at a nearby spot and later brought us to our table. The ordering method was a bit different; typically in the U.S., they would first come ask what you’d like to drink, but here they first asked which of three menus we wanted before inquiring about wine pairing 🍷. However, the service was impeccable, which made us feel very comfortable! Plus, it features an open kitchen where you can see the chefs seriously preparing the food!
Since I wasn’t very hungry, I chose the smaller portion menu.
First up was...
❤️ Bread 🥖
When you think it’s just regular bread, you finally experience eating warm bread in France. The most important part is their butter sauce, which has added fragrant lemon leaves. I couldn’t resist eating an extra piece of bread 🥯 simply because it smelled so good!
❤️ Beetroot
This appetizer surprised me a bit; before tasting, I thought it was hawthorn since I hadn’t seen the menu contents. Once I tasted it, I realized it was beetroot, but it had a sweet flavor blended with mustard, resulting in a sweet yet spicy flavor. It was topped with what seemed like plum sauce, which harmonized the whole taste—perfect as an appetizer!
❤️ Mashed Potatoes 🥔
The mashed potatoes had cheese and fish roe mixed in. I thought the fish roe would make them too fishy, but surprisingly, the flavors blended so well that they were delicious and sweet! Each bite was soft and mushy mashed potatoes paired with the chewy fish roe, creating a really unique taste!
❤️ Gnocchi
They shaped the small dough into tiny balls and baked them slowly. When they came out, the surface had a slight crispness; the inside was chewy and tender. They served four sauces, explaining each one while adding them. Personally, I thought it tasted similar to diluted BBQ sauce, but it also came with crispy bacon 🥓, giving it a salty and fragrant flavor—a nice start!
❤️ Veal Steak 🥩
Initially, the veal steak I received was somewhat disappointing because it had too much sinew that hadn’t been removed. My first cut made it hard to slice, and after discovering all the sinew, I managed to eat only about two or three bites of meat, with the rest being unedible! But later, it seemed the chef noticed my situation and brought out a plate of cut steak, apologizing to me. I was indeed pleased with their attentiveness. However, if it had been perfect from the beginning, that would have been best. After all, I feel the veal steak slightly deducted points because there was just too much sinew!
❤️ Dessert 🍮
The final dessert was very special; it featured sugar-cured pumpkin 🎃 and citrus fruits 🍊, presented with some sugar decoration. I must say, I absolutely loved this dessert, but perhaps it’s because I have a personal fondness for pumpkin. I enjoy this kind of dessert that’s not overly sweet and refreshes the palate!
Overall, aside from the veal steak incident, I was satisfied. If I have more time in the future, I would still be willing to return to experience the new menu—looking forward to more of their creativity!
This restaurant is a major discovery for me in Paris...
This should be the restaurant I currently recommend the most in Paris 🍴
It's very French 🇫🇷, incredibly authentic in taste, and absolutely delicious! If you don't go and try it, you'll truly regret it!
But first, really take my advice and make a reservation... because the restaurant isn't very big, and if there are no seats inside, you'll have to eat in the cold outside, possibly waiting for a seat even in the chilly winter ❄️...
Although you might think the wait could be worthwhile... it’s just a matter of tapping your fingers, and then you can enjoy a delicious dinner~ why not!
Once you enter the restaurant, you can enjoy the warm hospitality of the locals. The staff at this restaurant speaks excellent English, so there's no need to worry about a language barrier. However, if you know French, you can have a nice chat with the waiters, as they are very enthusiastic and friendly!
Now we arrive at the main event... I must introduce some of the delicious dishes in the restaurant~ I highly recommend these items!!!
❤️ Foie Gras Salad 🥗
Normally, if you order a foie gras salad at other restaurants, you might only get a small piece of foie gras, or sometimes just a small smear of it, but this restaurant serves a huge, fresh piece of foie gras, generously sharing its fresh deliciousness. Since the fat of the liver is very rich, the salad on the side perfectly balances the greasiness. The bread they provide is also great for pairing with foie gras. Honestly, this is the first time I’ve ever seen a salad with such a large piece of foie gras 🥗 at this price—truly high value for money!
❤️ Pan-Seared Foie Gras
The piece that looks like steak is the huge foie gras. The moment the knife cuts it, you can tell the chef has mastered the cooking perfectly. Previously, when I ordered foie gras 🦢 in Taiwan, it typically came in tiny slices or pieces; I had never seen such a large piece. The key is that it's cooked incredibly well—this is among the top three foie gras I've tried! This dish is also very popular; a lot of people order it, and if you're alone, it might be hard to finish. We had to share it between the two of us to finish that piece—it's really a generous portion!
❤️ Sea Bass Risotto 🐟
When I saw the risotto topped with mullet roe, it was hard to resist, and when I checked the entire content, I was even more pleasantly surprised. The whole dish is filled with flavors I absolutely love—the fish is super fresh and very tender. It’s a piece of fish that can easily be devoured in a flash, plus the base risotto is very appetizing~ Every bite tastes like seafood, and it seems to have finely chopped vegetables 🥬 in it, so the texture is both soft and crunchy, combined perfectly with the mullet roe and the fish—it's a perfect combination!
Every dish has no flaws; they’re all so delicious that it's hard not to be overwhelmed. Everyone who has recently visited Paris must go eat here, but I'm afraid that if everyone goes, I won’t be able to make reservations later. This is how highly I recommend it—five stars 🌟. I hope everyone who visits Paris can see this restaurant!
In France, almost everyone definitely comes to eat this kind of crêpe. If you haven’t tried it, it means you probably haven’t been to France! This shop actually has quite a few branches in different areas. The reason I chose this one is because it’s closer to where I’m going later. If you do your research, you can also find a branch to experience it; I believe the taste should be quite good too! However, if you’re dining during peak hours, it’s best to make a reservation to avoid waiting too long! Even though the staff is very enthusiastic in their service, the place is always busy because the food is delicious! If you have time constraints, it’s best to consider this!
Inside the restaurant, there are different types of crêpes. I chose one savory and one sweet.
❤️ Salted Caramel Crêpe
This is a classic single-flavor crêpe; the taste of caramel is very aromatic, and with every bite, you can feel the rich flavor of caramel. Although it might be a bit sweet for us Asians considering French tastes, I think it’s acceptable if you spread a little less sauce. Plus, the crêpe itself is very delicious, and the overall combination left me very satisfied! However, it is somewhat monotonous, so if you prefer more fillings, I would suggest ordering a savory one.
❤️ Pork Crêpe
This type of savory crêpe usually has an egg in the middle, along with the filling of your choice. I noticed many people order ham as their filling. If you don’t like very salty flavors, choosing something like ham would be safer. The one we ordered had a very rich flavor, and this savory crêpe has a crispy texture, making it very delicious overall. However, if you prefer lighter flavors, you might want to consider ordering a drink to go with it!
Overall, I really liked it. This crêpe is completely different from the ones in Taiwan, but the flavors are ones I really enjoy. The added ingredients are also unique and won’t get boring! I recommend everyone who visits Paris to give it a try!
I came here to dine on New Year's Eve, so of course, I made a reservation before entering. I noticed there were some people who didn't have reservations asking about available tables, and during the two hours I spent dining here, only three groups managed to walk in and get seated! I'm not sure if it's like this usually, but at least on holidays, this is a very popular restaurant. If you want to enjoy a good meal, it's best to make a reservation!
Even with a lot of customers, it didn't affect the service at all. The service quality was truly commendable, from taking orders to serving dishes and anticipating customers' needs. Everything was done very well; with just a gesture or a movement, a staff member would come over to inquire, and their attitude was very friendly, creating a great atmosphere!
Today we celebrated a bit specially, so we ordered:
❤️ Oyster platter
The oyster platter includes a total of 12 oysters with four different types. Each type has a distinct flavor. I really enjoy oysters, so I couldn’t miss this oyster tasting experience. Eating such oysters in Europe felt quite rewarding, although of course, the price and size can't really compare to those in Asia!
❤️ Snails
Since we are in Europe, we couldn’t pass up the chance to try this local specialty. People here generally order at least six snails, and we followed suit. They're paired with a bit of green sauce, and the snails themselves are very tender and easy to remove! I highly recommend these; I thought they were incredibly delicious and you must give them a try!
❤️ Scallop risotto
I also consider this dish a classic. There were about five large, sweet scallops, which are larger than those found elsewhere, and very fresh. The chef cooked the scallops perfectly, with no dry parts at all. Each bite of the risotto was infused with the flavors of other seafood, making it really delicious and sweet!
❤️ Steak 🥩
This restaurant offers a wide variety of steak options. Since my friend ordered this, I’m not entirely sure of the name, but I do know that they also handle the steak's tenderness very well. I love this type of medium-rare steak with a bit of blood. You can really taste the original quality of the meat, and it’s a great way to test the chef's skills!
❤️ Crème brûlée
This was a dessert we decided to add at the last minute. Although it was delicious, desserts in Europe tend to be a bit too sweet. While I can manage it, those who usually don’t eat very sweet things might find it a bit overwhelming!
Overall, I recommend this restaurant. If I have the chance to return to Paris, I would love to come back and try it again. I'm sharing this for anyone visiting Paris!
What’s special about this experience is dining on a restaurant boat, which is docked right next to the Eiffel Tower 🗼. While dining, the boat circles around the nearby attractions. The meal duration is about an hour and a half, during which you can generally see seven or eight major landmarks. However, since we chose the dinner option, visibility was limited, and I only noticed three or four landmarks illuminated at night! But being able to dine around the Eiffel Tower already felt very delightful.
As soon as you board the boat 🚢, dedicated staff offer champagne and introduce the red wine selections. There’s a QR code on the table you can scan to choose your meal for the day. The menu typically offers two options for each course, allowing you to select from appetizers, main dishes, and desserts. As we are dining as a couple, we chose completely different meals to try everything.
❤️ Appetizers
One of the appetizers was foie gras. I personally found this restaurant's foie gras to be quite strong in flavor; without the accompanying sauce, it might leave a slightly gamey taste and isn’t as palatable! However, the other appetizer was quite impressive, resembling an octopus🐙 tower, topped with pickled vegetables, paired with octopus and escargot. It had a very French flavor profile and was perfectly seasoned, making it a very appetizing and pleasant starter!
❤️ Main Courses
For the main course, one dish was fish🐟 while the other was steak🥩. Both main dishes were delicious. The fish was incredibly fresh, and the sauce didn’t overshadow its natural flavors; instead, it enhanced the taste. The steak was cooked perfectly, tender, with a lovely pink center, allowing you to fully enjoy the beef texture—truly a perfect main course!
❤️ Desserts
I felt that the dessert was the weak point of the entire meal; however, perhaps it is seen as a great success in the eyes of the French, as it was just too sweet for Asian palates. I could only manage one bite of the chocolate cake before giving up, while I struggled to finish the lemon cake 🍰, which had more of a lemon sorbet feel to it, offering a sweet and sour sensation. Still, once it melted in my mouth, it leaned towards being overly sweet!
Overall, I would actually recommend this experience. It’s a wonderful outing, being able to enjoy dinner while gazing at the Eiffel Tower feels particularly romantic. It’s a pity that the dessert didn’t meet expectations, but for those with a sweet tooth, it may be just perfect! I encourage anyone interested to give it a try!
Since there was still some time before dinner,
it was super cold 🌬️ outside, and with a bit of jet lag, I decided to randomly find a place to check out.
We were initially attracted by the sign in front of the bar, which said there would be free beer, but I thought that was really just a trick to draw customers in, because they were actually just trying to lure people in with that.
In the end, we ordered two drinks:
❤️ Hot Red Wine
Their red wine 🍷 is a bit different from regular spiced red wine; they use more slightly sour fruits paired with the hot red wine. The overall taste is particularly smooth, enhancing the flavor of the red wine, and it’s even quite appetizing. It’s definitely a recommended drink for a cold winter day!
❤️ Hot Latte
The latte ☕️ doesn’t really have any major flaws or advantages; it’s just a very rich cup of coffee. After drinking it, you can feel fully alert, which is a great help with jet lag!
Since we had dinner plans later, I didn’t order anything else to eat, but overall I felt that the service and drinks were quite good at the restaurant. If you happen to pass by, you might want to give it a try and share your thoughts with me!
Reviewer with Braces: Not Particularly Friendly Sink 😂
This restaurant located in the Zhuanwei Military Village has an unassuming appearance but surprises with its dishes. The chef puts great care into each dish, and the staff is very enthusiastic and talkative. The only downside is that the restroom facilities are somewhat rudimentary.
The restaurant updates its menu every season, combining local specialties from Yilan with seafood, and each dish is quite exquisite. The set menu is priced at 1,380 NTD, plus a 10% service charge.
Here are the dishes from this meal:
Overall, the restaurant is suitable for those who enjoy trying new things, but I personally would not return.

Dickson's Fooday Review #245
This time, I'm going to introduce a more upscale French cuisine.
For those who are unsure what to eat for a special holiday or anniversary,
come take a look for some inspiration!
This restaurant's name, "Empty Plate," is pronounced in French,
while the term "empty plate" is derived from the Taiwanese pronunciation of the French words.
It's not really an empty plate!
Although this place offers very exquisite French cuisine,
the prices are more affordable compared to other high-end restaurants!
On that day, we ordered a set menu with 8 dishes,
but there was no pairing included.
This set is only $2780!
Compared to many other high-end fine dining restaurants that can easily cost $6000-$8000,
this is quite a good deal!
Moreover, even though the prices at this restaurant are not particularly high,
I found the overall experience to be very good.
The presentation and flavors of each dish were quite impressive.
Each dish was presented elegantly.
Though they all looked small,
they were quite filling when eaten,
and it was evident that the chef put a lot of effort into making them.
So, dining here was truly a delightful surprise!
In addition, the atmosphere here is also quite nice.
From the entrance to the interior, it exudes elegance and quality,
perfectly in line with the presentation of high-end dining.
The staff was also very professional,
providing clear and thorough introductions to each dish as it was served,
informing us how to enjoy each dish and its contents.
This experience is essential for high-end dining!
Compared to other hard-to-book establishments,
this one is much easier to reserve a table at,
and it offers online booking,
so there's no need to rush for seats!
I think this restaurant is really suitable for the general public.
If you need to celebrate a special occasion,
this is definitely worth considering.
After all, the price is quite reasonable,
and the overall dining experience and atmosphere are excellent.
I highly recommend this French restaurant to all my friends!

⭐️ Food Review
👉 Red Duck | Black Olive, Black Lime
It starts with a small cube of red duck,
paired with black olives and black lime for flavor enhancement.
The taste is quite innovative,
opening the door to the subsequent food experience!
👉 Bread with Black Garlic Butter
The bread served is a generous chunk,
which is quite substantial!
Next to it is a large block of butter for dipping,
and a great part is
if your bread is insufficient, you can ask the staff for more!
You can eat your fill!
👉 Hiroshima Oyster, Taro, Clams
This dish is presented as a soup.
You can see that the bowl contains oysters, taro, and clams.
Personally, I'm not a fan of taro soup,
but in this dish, the taste of taro is not overwhelming.
The seafood, including oysters and clams, helps balance the flavor of the taro,
creating a bubbly sensation in the soup.
The visual effect is quite cute as well!
This is also a dish I really like!
👉 Tofu with Sea Bream
I need to mention this dish particularly,
as it is quite special.
The restaurant serves sea bream in a bowl of tofu.
The tofu has a true tofu taste,
and surprisingly, the combination with sea bream feels very harmonious.
The sea bream is exceptionally fresh,
and there is a decent amount of it in this dish,
with the fish sitting right in the middle of the tofu bowl.
I found this dish very delicious!
It's also quite unique to see tofu and seafood combined!
👉 Oxtail | Creamy Napa Cabbage, Angelica
This one leans more towards the vegetable side.
The creamy napa cabbage paired with angelica has a very striking flavor contrast
that leaves a deep impression.
👉 Flounder | Hokkaido Scallops | Jerusalem Artichoke
The scallops used in this dish are quite large,
topped with a small piece of flounder,
and the flavor is a bit stronger compared to the other dishes,
but I also really love this dish!
👉 Quail, Pistachio, Sage
The quail's portion is not particularly large,
with the pistachio and sage simply enhancing the flavor and preparation.
Although this dish is part of the meat course,
the serving is really not that much.
I found the quail quite delicious,
but unfortunately, the meat portion was a bit too little!
👉 Wagyu | Beef Tongue | Burdock
This is also part of the main course.
The wagyu beef tongue and burdock combination.
The wagyu is cooked perfectly,
with a small portion of beef tongue alongside it.
Finally, the burdock helps alleviate any greasiness from the prior dishes.
This beef combo is also a dish I found quite good!
In the end, using the burdock really tied everything together!
Before the wagyu is sent to the kitchen for cooking,
the staff first brings out the whole piece for us to see,
allowing us to check out what meat will be used today
and briefly introducing the dishes of the day.
This was a great way to enhance the experience!
👉 Hokkaido Milk | Citrus | Jasmine
This dish utilizes milk and various flowers.
The floral scent mixed with the milk is quite memorable,
and visually, I felt it was very cute.
Though it disappears quickly when eaten,
it leaves a lasting impression!
👉 Rice Pudding | Lemon | Coffee
Finally, for dessert,
there are two small pieces.
I found the dessert a bit ordinary,
but it was still above average and had a nice concluding feel.
Overall, after enjoying all these dishes,
I found each one quite satisfying,
almost all above average,
with some being particularly unique and impressive.
In terms of seasoning and cooking,
this menu felt neither overwhelmingly strong nor intense.
Most of the dishes and flavors were quite gentle,
utilizing complimentary or contrasting sensations in presentation.
It’s an extremely palatable menu,
and I am very satisfied with this occasion!
⭐️ Atmosphere Review
The ambiance in the restaurant is well-controlled.
The lighting primarily uses warm yellow tones,
perfectly encapsulating the feel of an upscale dining experience.
Additionally, the walls feature some tastefully artistic works.
Though the space in the restaurant isn’t too large,
the layout is quite comfortable,
with a limited number of tables.
This spacious arrangement allows for comfortable dining experiences!
The overall atmosphere reflects that of a high-end restaurant,
making it quite suitable for couples or families
to celebrate special occasions with exquisite meals.
⭐️ Service Review
I found the staff to be quite professional.
As mentioned earlier,
in high-end dining, the way a dish is introduced matters significantly,
which requires employee training,
along with familiarity with ingredients and flavors.
This restaurant performs quite well in this regard.
For essentially every dish, I heard their introductions and understood the contents,
even if I sometimes forget after.
In the moment, it's great to learn a bit more about what we're eating
and how it's prepared, including ingredients, etc.
These aspects are very important!
Additionally, the staff is also very considerate,
particularly regarding promptly refilling water!
⭐️ Price Review
I feel that for an upscale French restaurant,
the prices are quite entry-level.
However, regarding the overall quality of the food,
from presentation to flavor profiles and service attitude,
they all excel in their categories.
Given this price, I really think this place offers extraordinary value!
So, the next time they update their menu,
I will definitely return to visit!
After all, being able to enjoy such high-quality French cuisine at this price,
the value is undeniably high!
⭐️ Summary
I personally think this French restaurant
is genuinely worth recommending.
The prices aren’t exceptionally high,
yet the entire experience is quite enjoyable.
I highly suggest this restaurant for anyone looking to celebrate special occasions or enjoy fine dining.
You can certainly start here!~~
