♢ WILD MEAL - Specializing in Wild Rice Sweet Steamed and Baked Meal Boxes ♢
Location: Located near Taipei Main Station, about a ten-minute walk away.
Dining Environment: Clean and bright, with a few seats available for dining in.
Ordering Method: Order at the counter or reserve online to pay on-site.
Bring your own meal box for a discount of 5 NT dollars. If you need to adjust your meal, customization is also available (e.g., no specific vegetables, replace rice with sweet potato).
The shop was bustling with many customers. Although it was close to closing time during my reservation, customers kept coming in and out. I strongly recommend ordering online in advance before picking up your meal.
Hi~ I believe those who follow me know that I can be a bit strict 🤣 Recently, during my weight loss period, I've started visiting healthy eateries in Tainan. To be honest, I've found that eating light is as painful as being light on the wallet, and I truly feel it's the wallet that's suffering.
First, let me mention the recommendations. Adding half a boiled egg costs 5 NT and I sincerely recommend the dine-in area!!
The chicken breast is tender and not dry, and the salmon is fresh and juicy. In terms of flavors, they have sour, spicy, herb, and curry options. I originally thought the garlic flavor might be overwhelming, but unexpectedly, it just has Costco's garlic pepper powder 😙 The vegetables are served cold (this part I personally don't like).
Importance of the meal: I think it's pretty average.
Importance of the environment: It's not bad and provides dine-in options.
Importance of parking: Motorcycles can park at the door, and cars can park in nearby parking lots.
Importance of restrooms: None available.
Importance of waiting: Very fast service, almost no waiting time.
Importance of service: Average.
Importance of value for money: 🌟🌟🌟 (This is purely discussing food and price).
A new restaurant focusing on healthy meals has opened in Pingtung, and it's creatively named "Cao Jian Mi Sen," which is very appealing just by the name alone! Taking advantage of the grand opening discount, I decided to give it a try, and the overall experience was quite good; I would consider returning.
The restaurant is clean and bright, with a minimalist and quality decor, and the seating area is well-maintained, making the dining environment very comfortable.
There are many options available, allowing customers to freely mix and match their favorite ingredients, with generous portions. The ingredients are fresh, and the flavors are refreshing and layered, leaving you satisfied without feeling burdened after the meal.
Whether you want to eat healthily or simply change up your taste, this restaurant is definitely worth a try! Plus, with the opening discounts, it’s a great opportunity to try something new, and I will definitely be back for more.
The photo shows a chicken breast fillet meal box for 130 NT dollars.
Honestly, it's really the best healthy meal box I've ever had. Usually, the side dishes in healthy meal boxes are fixed and you can't choose. But at this place, there are a bunch of side dishes to choose from. There are both cold and hot stir-fried options, and you can select four types of side dishes. The base can be either purple rice, lettuce, or udon noodles—pick one from three options. Plus, the amount of side dishes is actually much more than the purple rice! The main dishes include pork, beef, chicken, and fish, and the portions are quite generous as well. You can pay using Line Pay at checkout.
The biggest issue is that you have to wait in line, especially during meal times; the wait can be very long. With so many choices, it can take a long time if there are customers in front of you who have decision-making difficulties. If there was no line, I could come here to eat every day!
This is the healthiest meal box closest to the company. Although it's not the tastiest, it is the closest, so I often choose it when I'm running a bit short on time.
They have a total of 12 options, three of which are boiled dishes where you can choose from six different sauces. The others are already seasoned. My favorite is the shredded chicken with sesame sauce or spicy sauce. Like other healthy meal boxes, you can choose the amount of rice; I usually opt for half, and if I'm not very hungry, I go with one-third. The restaurant also gives extra vegetables 🥬.
The vegetables usually include 1-2 types of leafy greens, one type of gourd, sweet potato/potatoes 🥔, tofu, kelp, and half a boiled egg. The chicken breast is shredded and, when paired with the sauce, doesn’t taste dry at all (I usually don't eat chicken breast, but only fried chicken). The whole meal is incredibly filling.
Another advantage of this place is that the prices are quite reasonable. Nowadays, many healthy meal boxes start at around 130 for basic chicken breast, and here, you get a satisfying and healthy meal 😌.

In-store atmosphere 🌕🌕🌕🌑🌑
The dining space inside the store is relatively small, but you can really see that there are so many cat-related decorations throughout. There are cat-themed washi tapes, postcards, and daily use items! 😍 Unfortunately, I didn’t see the shop cat that day. 🥹
Grilled Herbal Chicken Breast Meal Box (Orange Sauce 🍊) $140
The vegetables in the meal box were already very fresh, and the chicken breast with the orange sauce had a unique flavor.
Longan Honey Lemon Drink 🍋 $75
It's a large cup, and it tastes really good! 🥰
The flavor is a bit on the sour side but not too overwhelming; it should be refreshing and appetizing in the summer.
❗️The above is based on personal taste preferences, please consider accordingly. Thank you! ~
In recent years, more and more people have started to pay attention to healthy eating. The brands of healthy meal boxes have also become more diverse. "Good Taste Box Meal" is, in my opinion, a very suitable brand for people who want to step into healthy eating as their first encounter. The vegetables are fresh, washed with running water, and blanched. With up to 12 options for staple foods, it ensures that people won't get tired of the meals.
✨ This is a personal favorite of mine.
◽ Drunken Chicken Thigh✨ $125 (3 dishes), $155 (5 dishes)
> Selected from free-range chicken from Yunlin (deboned)
➤ My favorite ❤️ In the past, I could only enjoy the drunken chicken bought by my elders from the market during family meals, and the portion size is suitable for sharing among the family. It was the first time I saw a single-serving bento option, and it perfectly replicates the taste from my memories!
◽ Scallion Oil Chicken Thigh $125 (3 dishes), $155 (5 dishes)
> Also selected from free-range chicken from Yunlin (deboned)
➤ If you don't like the taste of alcohol, you can choose the scallion oil version. It uses free-range chicken, drizzled with scallion oil sauce, making the chicken glossy but not greasy! However, I prefer the one with alcohol, which is not labeled✨ (my boyfriend likes both flavors).
◽ Braised Beef Brisket✨ $135 (3 dishes), $165 (5 dishes)
> A personal recommendation from the owner
➤ The beef cheek is braised until it's tender like beef stew. The quinoa rice cooked in a large pot is drenched with the braising sauce, not too salty, and you can still taste the texture of the beef fibers. The downside is that it's too little 🤤, not satisfying enough!
◽ Family Recipe Braised Pork Ribs✨ $100 (3 dishes), $130 (5 dishes)
> Made with Taiwanese pork! It’s the most popular item for corporate orders.
➤ The owner happened to be busy with a large order that day, mostly people ordering the main dishes! The entire pot is filled with steaming hot braised ribs that have absorbed the flavors, looking like the biggest portion, but three dishes only cost $100, making it feel very worthwhile~

Hawaiian poke bowl has always been one of my favorite meals. When I want to switch from heavy meat dishes to something healthier, this type of meal is my top choice.
The restaurant environment is very bright and clean, and the open kitchen allows you to see the cooking process. The freshness and hygiene of the ingredients are on full display.
Although this type of meal is somewhat pricey, the quality of the dishes and the overall dining experience make you feel that it’s worth every penny. You can mix and match all the ingredients, and the portions are quite generous.
If you also enjoy healthy and delicious meals, I highly recommend their poke bowl (they also have refreshing yogurt!). You will definitely fall in love with this bowl of sunny and fresh Hawaiian poke!

"The Le Po Bon Box Healthy Meal Box - Taipei Jinzhou Store" is located near Hsing Tian Kong Station, just a 2-minute walk from Exit 4. It's inside the Songjiang Market, which has many snack stalls and restaurants. Living here is quite fortunate since you can enjoy reasonably priced lunches and dinners.
That day, I happened to be near Hsing Tian Kong on business, so I looked for healthy meal boxes nearby and discovered this place, which had quite a few good reviews, so I decided to give it a try.
The shop is small, with a few bar seats that have a partial wall, but I think most customers get takeout.
PS: The menu has two prices listed: the regular price and the member price. I wasn't asked to become a member that day, but the staff still charged me the member price.
Sichuan Pepper Chicken Breast $130
The flavor of the Sichuan pepper is quite unique. While it has the characteristic aroma of peppercorns that I often encounter, it seems like they used pepper salt and sprinkled a fair amount, which increases the numbness and saltiness. Personally, I think the flavor is okay. However, the chicken breast is a bit dry and firm, rather than tender. I find the meat quality average, just barely passing.
As for the sides, they were also sprinkled with some flavorful spice powder, which is a plus; sweet potato puree, kelp, enoki mushrooms, and boiled egg were all clearly boiled and quite bland, but the egg had some seasoning powder sprinkled on it, so it was still decent. However, I wasn't very fond of the vegetables as they didn't taste very fresh.
Family had the pepper salt pork $110
I didn't taste it, so I can't comment, but my family finished the whole dish, so it must have been decent (my family is usually quite picky and often leaves leftovers, so just for reference, haha).
Overall, the price is moderate, not too expensive, the main dish tasted okay, but the sides didn't quite meet my expectations, so I'm not very likely to revisit.
ProVegCarb is a light meal box located on Section 1 of Nangang Road, near the Nangang Software Park and Nangang Exhibition Hall. The store's operating hours are very short, only from 11 AM to 2 PM, Monday to Friday, clearly targeting office workers in the area.
Today, I took out black pepper garlic chicken breast and salt onion beef belly, totaling 280 NT dollars. The takeout comes in a convenient paper box design, suitable for carrying the meal back home or to the office.
Black Pepper Garlic Chicken Breast:
The chicken breast is thick and tender, and the blend of garlic and black pepper is perfect, bringing a rich aroma that whets the appetite. The chicken breast tastes completely moist and, together with nutritious red quinoa rice and plenty of vegetables, it is healthy and filling.
Salt Onion Beef Belly:
The beef belly has a rich marbling, and the combination with the sweet and salty salt onion is quite stimulating to the taste buds. The portion is generous, and it is also paired with the nutrient-rich, high-fiber red quinoa rice, making it worth trying.
To order, customers first select vegetables from behind the ordering counter, then choose the main dish, and finally settle the payment. If there is anything you do not eat, please inform the staff in advance, as they are friendly and quick to serve.
Overall, it is a healthy and filling meal box. The price is actually quite reasonable for Taipei, and it successfully combines health with flavor. Although the operating hours are very short, I highly recommend visiting if you happen to pass by during those hours.
In addition to a large number of takeout customers, the store also has a not-so-spacious dine-in area, so it's fine if you want to eat directly in the store.
Highly recommended to everyone!
