This shop has an area for dining in, so you can place your order and eat inside. This time I ordered the garlic pork loin, and I felt that the garlic sauce was a bit too salty; however, the meat tasted fine. The vegetables were seasoned rather lightly, like most healthy meal boxes, with only the dried tofu having a stronger flavor. The rice served was purple rice, which was a nice bonus. Overall, it's a decent healthy meal box. If you want to eat some greens, you can come here, and it also offers a dining area, which many healthy meal box shops lack — it's a good choice for lunch during the midday break.
Sakata’s main focus is on healthy lunch boxes, and they also offer low-carb options, with the overall style being Japanese-inspired. In terms of nutritional balance, I think Sakata does quite well; they manage to cover protein, starch, vitamins, and other aspects in their dishes. However, I feel that the taste and portion sizes could be improved.
Firstly, the whole lunch box is very light in flavor. Lightness is not necessarily bad, but the ingredients must be fresh enough, or there should be skills to bring out the natural flavors of the ingredients to make it delicious. But the hamburg steak bento I had, aside from the seasoning of the meat itself, I could hardly taste the flavors of the other dishes; it was just prepared in a very healthy way.
Furthermore, the portions look very full on the menu photos, but upon opening the lunch box, it seems smaller in quantity, which for someone like me with a slightly larger appetite, feels a bit lacking. However, looking at the price of the bento itself, in Taipei, it seems there's not much more to expect, especially given the current prices compared to before the pandemic.

▪️Lemon chicken thigh steak $135
▪️Green pepper chicken thigh steak $135
Side dishes of the day: bok choy, cabbage, cauliflower, mushrooms, sweet potato, tofu
This is one of the healthier meal boxes I've had recently and it tastes quite good. The lemon chicken was ordered by a friend and it doesn’t have any strange chemical lemon taste. The green pepper chicken is slightly spicy and very fragrant, and the chicken is tender. There’s a wide variety of side dishes, and they don’t all just taste like boiled vegetables; the seasoning is light but not boring.
It looks like a small bowl, but there’s quite a bit of rice at the bottom. I wonder if I can swap half the rice for more vegetables. Looking at Google reviews, opinions seem quite polarized, but I personally think it’s pretty good! It’s a bit far from my house, otherwise, I would buy it occasionally.
You can choose and combine healthy ingredients like vegetables, protein, and fruits in any way you like!
In Taiwan, it's common for any vegetable to be stir-fried, and since I have been living alone and my nutrition has been unbalanced, I was really happy to eat raw vegetables and protein in a balanced way after a long time!
You can choose from bases like pasta and purple rice, as well as vegetables, additional ingredients, toppings, and dressings as you wish! This time, I went with a base of purple rice and lettuce, but personally, I found that the rice didn't really go well with the dressing and the sweetness of the fruit, so next time, I want to choose pasta as my base instead 😂 By the way, the dressing was a mustard-based one with a bit of tanginess. My acquaintance's sesame dressing looked tastier, so I want to try that next time!
I was worried that a salad-based meal wouldn't fill me up, but surprisingly, there was quite a bit of it, and I ended up full! The satisfaction was also plenty✨
I think the charm of this place is how you can arrange various combinations yourself! I keep getting tempted to go back because I can’t decide what I want next 😂 If I feel like I'm lacking in vegetables again, I will definitely rush back!
I've always been afraid that shops claiming to sell healthy food would end up being bland and tasteless, so I rarely try out so-called healthy food places. However, I've passed by this particular shop many times and noticed that there are always a lot of people buying from it. One time, they even sold out very early, so out of curiosity, I decided to give it a try.
This time, I ordered the black pepper grilled chicken breast meal box. The black pepper grilled chicken breast was surprisingly flavorful, with a strong black pepper taste that was actually quite good. As for the other side dishes, they were really not seasoned at all, making them taste very bland. The rice was purple rice, and the portion was just right for me, but for someone who eats more, it might not be enough.
Overall, I think the main dish from this place is quite good, while the rest is just okay.
There are many lunch and dinner places around the Shandao Temple, but if I were to recommend a healthy meal option, I would definitely suggest "Greedy Box."
Main reasons for the recommendation:
Reasonable price: There are healthy meal options starting from just 120 TWD that are quite substantial.
Variety: Just look at the menu to see that they have an extensive range of flavors to choose from.
Rich customization: You can choose less rice, no rice, or swap rice for sweet potatoes; you can even order just vegetables if you want.
Convenient ordering: You can place your order through their official website via Line, and just pick it up when it's ready. They also support Line Pay for online payment, which is very convenient.
Additionally, they have a membership card point collection program. Although the benefits have decreased, there are still some advantages.
However, there are some minor drawbacks, such as a bit of confusion in the order of pickups, and sometimes the place gets really crowded, making the pickup times very busy. (Still, I encourage everyone to order online more often.)
Also, even though I don’t eat spicy food, my colleagues highly recommend their chili sauce, so I’ll recommend it to everyone as well!
📌 It is recommended to add the official Line account and place your meal order before going to pick it up to save time.
📌 Join as a member to get member pricing on your orders, which can be directly deducted.
📌 The public holidays vary each month; you can check on Line.
🔹 Environment
There is no air conditioning in the summer; I have been there three times without seeing anyone dining in.
🔹 Dishes
▪️ Japanese Fried Chicken - Member price $153
I absolutely love fried chicken! It tastes just as good as the ones from outside! The meat is not dry at all!
And the portion is very generous! I always feel 120% full after eating.
▪️ Thai Style Peppery Sous Vide Chicken (mildly spicy) - Member price $153
It definitely has a Thai flavor, but it has much less oil compared to regular peppery chicken! If you really want to eat peppery chicken but want something healthier, I highly recommend this dish!
My personal preference is 💗 Fried Chicken > Peppery Chicken
The rice options are purple rice, quinoa, and white rice; the purple rice is harder than quinoa, and I found it a bit tough to chew 🤣 so I chose quinoa afterwards.
The side dishes are different each time! But they almost always include corn and that green vegetable (probably bok choy 🤣).
🔹 Membership Method
Hello everyone, I am a little frog 🐸
Woopen offers a variety of colorful fresh vegetable salad boxes, emphasizing freshness and natural ingredients, providing a burden-free vegetarian dining experience.
In addition to salads, we also sell warm salads, focaccia sandwiches, bagel sandwiches, as well as juice and coffee beverages. The seating at the Songjiang Chang'an store accommodates about 16 people. After ordering, the staff will give you a number device. Once your meal is ready, the device will vibrate, and you can go to the counter to pick up your meal. After finishing your meal, you should return your plates to the designated area!
Today, I noticed that the menu prices have increased, so I am uploading the new menu for August 2024 for everyone to reference.
⭐️ Grilled Chicken Thigh Salad Dine-in $245
The dine-in portion differs from the take-out, with an increased serving size. The salad is served in a large wooden bowl, which reflects the shop's name. The grilled chicken thigh has a rich pepper and sauce flavor, and while tender, it doesn't retain much juice. The salad base consists of a variety of lettuce, complemented by sweet peppers, sweet potatoes, cucumbers, tomatoes, and red onions, topped with some red quinoa. It is truly a hearty bowl filled with dietary fiber.
For the dressing, you can choose from six options; this time I selected the dried plum sauce, which has a sweet and sour taste, making it refreshing and appetizing.
🌟 Egg Salad Bagel $49
In August, there is a promotion where you can add an egg salad bagel for $49 with the purchase of a main dish. I had never tried the bagel from Woopen, so I decided to add it to see how it tastes. It’s a blueberry bagel filled with a thin layer of egg salad. The egg salad is creamy, but there isn’t much of it 🥺. The bagel's texture isn’t very crispy; it feels quite soft, which I personally don’t prefer.
‼️ Conclusion:
The salad bowls are made up of whole foods, making them relatively healthy, but the price per item is a bit high. Although they are healthy and tasty, I still feel that the prices are somewhat excessive, and this time the portion size seems significantly smaller compared to my previous dine-in experiences... With both the price increase and reduced serving size, the overall cost-performance ratio is too low, which actually greatly diminishes my willingness to return.
This health meal box that opened last year has been quite popular among nearby companies. I once consumed it 15 times in a month (yes, I went to check the records). They have a membership system where you earn points for every 100 NT dollars spent. At 10 points, you can redeem a 50 NT dollar discount coupon.
Every three weeks to about a month, they change their limited edition meals. Each round of limited edition meals will be announced on LINE, and there will also be a display stand at the store counter. If it’s delicious, I might eat the limited edition meals more than half the month since they won’t continue offering them once they’re sold out, and they will develop other dishes. If you miss it, there might not be another chance to try it!
In addition to the main dish, the meal box includes:
Customization is available: no rice, less rice, no egg, no sweet potato. If you choose no rice, the portion of the three side dishes will be larger. If you choose no sweet potato, you’ll get an extra half egg! It’s very friendly for those who are on a fat loss journey, with good protein content!
✨ Personal Recommendation
◽ Exotic Chicken Leg ✨ $145 NT
> This was the first item I bought after the opening, and I fell in love with the health meals after trying it. It comes with a lemon to drizzle over the roasted chicken leg, which makes it salty and slightly sour! It's the item I've ordered the most.
◽ Oven-Roasted Pork Loin ✨ $130 NT
> The pork loin is coated with flour, and the chicken fillet has a bit of thickness, so it doesn’t become too dry.
◽ Jade Chicken Breast $125 NT
> It’s garnished with scallion salt, which adds a lot to the flavor!
> Sous vide cooking means it's slowly cooked at low temperatures, which can sometimes result in a tender texture that makes me doubt it’s fully cooked, so I’m a bit hesitant.
◽ Garlic Pork Slices $110 NT
> The pork slices are drizzled with garlic soy sauce. It leaves me feeling a bit empty after eating.
◽ Enoki Mushroom with Pork $120 NT
> This one made me question whether there was any meat in it 🤔.
◽ Truffle King Oyster Mushroom ✨ $60 NT
> I once ordered truffle king oyster mushrooms (not as a meal box), and they were super fragrant! However, since king oyster mushrooms are quite cheap on their own, paying 60 NT for just the addition of truffle is still a bit painful!
◽ Thai Basil Chicken Meal Box $125 NT
> This uses chicken instead of ground pork, making it less oily. However, the staff might have been too busy as they scooped a bit too quickly, resulting in too much sauce, which makes the rice soggy, so I don’t often order this one.
◽ Monthly Limited Editions ✨
> I’ve tried the braised beef shank, the thirteen-spice grilled chicken leg, and the salty chicken flavor, and they were all delicious 😋. If you miss it, who knows when it will be back🥲. I hope the braised beef shank makes a return (wishful thinking).
I accidentally discovered a healthy meal box place, and the portion sizes are absolutely gigantic!! I enjoyed every bit of it!! The focus is on various whole foods, which are very similar to Hawaiian Poke bowls, allowing you to freely choose various toppings. They also offer brown rice, pasta, and lettuce as side dishes.
The store environment is very refreshing, and dining there is quite comfortable. It’s not configured to keep people seated for long, but you can really savor a healthy bowl, which is great!
For ordering, you can just scan the code and place your order, then pay at the counter. However, if you choose the light meal bowls, you won’t be able to select your own toppings, so it’s a good idea to ask the staff beforehand!
I highly recommend their "Roasted Potatoes." They use white potatoes seasoned with rosemary and spices, and it tastes fragrant, sweet, and appetizing. This is my top recommendation for a side dish ❤️.
Next is the avocado 🥑. They don’t just give a few slices; instead, they provide an ample amount!! Almost half an avocado goes into the bowl! They don’t hold back on such a premium fruit, which scores major points for me as an avocado lover 💯.
The chicken breast portion is also plentiful, and compared to typical Hawaiian bowls, I feel like they give a sincere amount of about 150 grams of chicken! Super awesome.
After several visits, I've found that their cold pasta pairs the best with everything because the noodles are cold themselves, which doesn’t disrupt the temperature of the other foods. It’s the most compatible. The lettuce is also a good choice, but personally, I’m not a fan of the brown rice, since the rice is hot and contrasts with the other cold dishes.
Overall, this French healthy bowl shop is perfect for office workers looking for a meal. On one hand, you can enjoy a variety of whole foods, and on the other hand, you can eat very healthily and without burden. The key point is that the portions are abundantly large! 👍👍
