The overall meal was average, with the flavor and texture of the grilled American aged ribeye steak being mediocre, and both the moon shrimp cake and the puff pastry soup lacking any distinctive qualities. The dessert was the only part that was satisfactory.
The layout of the interior space is reasonable, but the seating is relatively close together, which may be noisy. The decor is ordinary and lacks a date night atmosphere, making it suitable for casual dining.
The service was basic, and the ordering and delivery processes were normal, but the staff were overly aggressive in promoting the couple's meal, which felt uncomfortable.

Dickson's Food Diary #282
This time I am reviewing a steakhouse chain with branches in many places. This brand has become representative of affordable steaks. Although it has been expanding rapidly in recent years, I never had the chance to try it out. It is said to be the king of affordable steaks.
However, after eating there this time, I thought to myself that I would never come back again 😂😂😂. To be honest, the prices are cheap, but not cheap enough to justify the experience.
If you need to eat affordable steak, you might as well go for night market steaks or other similar options. In this price range, you can find better quality steak. Or you could pay a little more and enjoy a properly delicious steak.
Moreover, the overall dining quality, environment, and atmosphere were quite ordinary. It felt like just casually coming here to grab a quick bite. Given that, why would I spend this much to eat here? 😂😂😂
As previously mentioned, if you are looking for a casual meal, there are certainly better, cheaper night market steaks or other low-priced steak chains that would be better options.
If I want to have a higher-end, enjoyable steak meal with a pleasant atmosphere, I would definitely not choose this place. I could spend a little more to go to a nicer location with a better ambiance.
So why does this restaurant claim to be the top brand?
But that's just my personal opinion. After eating steaks in the U.S., it’s really hard to find something that’s both tasty and offers good value in Taiwan 🥹🥹🥹

👉 Grilled American dry-aged ribeye set $720 + $139
Most of the time I eat ribeye, so I ordered it here as well. The price for the ribeye here isn't particularly cheap, and I ordered it medium rare.
However, the steak served was really quite average. It was just a very ordinary piece of beef, and I couldn’t even remember what I was supposed to be eating. It was simply an unremarkable steak 😂😂😂.
The doneness was acceptable, but in terms of taste and meat quality, it was rather mediocre. Honestly, there's no need to come here specifically for it 😂😂😂.
👉 Creamy soup
Just like the creamy soup at other steak places like my house steak, there’s nothing special about it.
👉 Moon shrimp cakes
I don't understand why shrimp cakes are sold at a steakhouse, but they tasted just like your average frozen market shrimp cakes—nothing distinctive there.
👉 Salad
The complimentary salad was just a regular salad—not special, but not bad either.
👉 Dessert
The dessert was probably the only passable part of the entire meal today. Though it also wasn't particularly special, it was a decent dessert that could be eaten!
Overall, I have no recommendations for this steakhouse. What I had was just a standard beef meal, both in terms of quality and taste, and with so many other steak options available, there’s really no reason to eat here!
⭐️ Atmosphere Section
The restaurant has really divided the space into four-person sofa areas and two-person tables. However, the four-person sofa area isn’t very spacious. Since we were a party of five, we were seated in the sofa area.
This space can accommodate six people, but I think it’s more comfortable with four. For five people dining, the table space was quite cramped, and the seating and footrest were also uncomfortable.
So, my dining experience was not very pleasant. Additionally, the distance between seats in the restaurant is quite close, so if there are more customers, it might become very noisy.
Furthermore, the overall decor and furnishings of the restaurant are rather average, giving it the feel of a basic fast-food steakhouse, so there’s really no romantic atmosphere. I doubt anyone would come here for a date 😂😂😂.
⭐️ Service Section
The service was generally standard with no special offerings—just the basics of ordering and serving. However, there was a special two-person combo on the menu, and I noticed the staff kept recommending it. Even though we had declined, the staff continued to pitch it, which felt a bit annoying 😂😂😂.
⭐️ Price Section
Looking at the price for a meal like this, it isn't very cheap. Personally, I feel that the quality of steak at this price point should be better. The environment and food do not match the price, so I cannot give a high score in this regard 😂😂😂.
⭐️ In Summary
In recent years, I've often seen this chain steakhouse in various locations, and it looks quite impressive from the outside. But after actually dining there, I personally do not recommend it.
If you want to eat steak, you have better options available. For those who care about food, whether you're seeking cheaper or higher-quality steak, you’ll definitely find better choices.
Similarly, if you care about the atmosphere, you definitely wouldn’t choose this place!
Therefore, I feel that this location tends to attract community residents or locals who end up here without much thought 😂😂.
Dickson absolutely does not recommend this place, and you definitely shouldn't bring your date here either!
The location is very close to the MRT Technology Building Station, making it quite convenient in terms of transportation. In terms of price, I personally think it’s acceptable.
I suggest just ordering à la carte instead of upgrading to a set meal because the restaurant has a free self-service bar with various drinks available for unlimited refills, along with borscht and corn chowder which you can also refill as much as you want. À la carte orders come with complimentary appetizers like bread, and if you encounter some promotions at the restaurant, you can upgrade to a set meal for a small additional amount!
This time, I ordered the cheapest steak option. Although the staff recommended medium doneness, I personally felt it was still a bit overcooked. The meat was somewhat tough and difficult to chew, but the quality itself was not bad. I’ve included a photo of the cross-section for reference.
The drink bar in the restaurant is similar to regular beverage bars outside, with a variety of flavors to choose from. I strongly recommend the borscht; it's hearty and flavorful, really quite delicious. The corn chowder pairs well with the appetizer bread. Overall, it was a fairly filling meal.
If you’re still looking for a place to gather with friends, I think this could be a good option. Just sharing for your reference!
I rarely go to restaurants at this price range. On the one hand, my income is not enough to allow me to eat such things often. On the other hand, I also think that 80-point and 95-point food are both delicious, so there is no need to pursue 100-point food. portion of food.
This time I was invited to try it because there was a promotion. Sure enough, the original meat is more delicious. Compared with the night market grade steak I had before, this meat is much more delicious. The waiter explained that it is provided on an iron plate. The steak is served, so there is no choice of medium-rare or above. The most is medium-rare. This should be to prevent the steak from becoming too cooked during the eating process. If there are people who want the steak to be cooked a little more, they need to serve it before the steak is served. Then wait a while and let the iron plate heat the steak, and you can eat the steak medium to medium rare.
The tomahawk pork chop provided by a friend who shared it during the process also tasted very soft and tender. With the black pepper sauce attached, it was overall a pork chop with full color, flavor and flavor.
The store provides unlimited drinks such as borscht and cola. If you don’t order a set meal next time, you can drink more.
Overall, it is a high-end Western restaurant. The food provided is delicious. Apart from the slightly crowded seating arrangement, there is nothing else worthy of special attention. However, the focus of the restaurant is the food, and the environment provided is only It's clean and tidy, and the theme just needs to be on the meal. If you still have the chance, you can come back again.
Hello everyone, I am little frog🐸
There is a branch of "Takihou Grilled Aged Steak" near the MRT Technology Building.
I've had it a few times before, and it's one of the options for those who want to eat meat occasionally.
The overall environment of the store is in a calm blue tone. The self-service area has drinks, coffee, water, seasonings and two soups. The soups are corn soup and tomato borscht. The pot of borscht... is also full of them. There are beef cubes and vegetables, and they are all unlimited, so you can scoop as much as you want~
The day of my visit happened to coincide with Takihou's 6th anniversary event, and the new Sirloin Steak was upgraded to a double portion for RMB 6.
⭐️Grilled Sirloin Heart $586
The original price for 7oz is NT$580. In conjunction with the event, an extra NT$6 will be added to double the serving size.
My friend ordered this. I took two bites and it tasted awesome!!!
Rich in oil, the meat is tender and tender, with more oil and less tendons, so it is very chewy~
⭐️Grilled Tomahawk Pork Chops $390
The so-called Tomahawk pork chop refers to the part where the pork tenderloin or the plum blossoms on the front legs are connected to the pork ribs. With the cut pork chops, you can eat the pork tenderloin or the plum blossoms as well as the pork ribs. of meat, you can enjoy the different textures of two parts at the same time~
Today’s section contains a lot of inner muscles, with mostly lean meat, but not dry meat. I like it very much~
🌟With Package A +$139
Salads, appetizers, puff pastry soups, desserts
‼ ️Conclusion:
A 10% service charge is required ~
This time the steak and pork chops were quite delicious, but personally I think the set meal was... just average. I won’t upgrade to the set meal next time I return!
