The ramen is affordable and delicious, the yuzu chicken broth has a refreshing sweetness, the char siu rice is rich in flavor, and the fried dumplings are crispy and juicy. Some side dishes, like the fried chicken pieces, do not have a good texture. There is an additional charge for extra noodles.
The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere. Although there are few seats, dining is comfortable, and it is open for both afternoon and late-night snacks, making it suitable for dining at any time of the day. The kitchen has a slightly stronger smell of cooking oil.
The staff is friendly and can quickly provide menus and dining suggestions, making the dining experience more enjoyable. The ordering system occasionally lags, but ultimately, placing the order goes smoothly.
From noon until late at night, Ramen Shop Qian Yun is a great choice for enjoying ramen!
The dining time at the Zhongshan location is still very busy. We chose to enter at 3 PM (yes! The advantage of this place is that they don’t close in the afternoon).
Even during the afternoon off-peak hours, there was still a bit of a wait, which shows just how popular Ramen Shop Qian Yun is.
I have previously eaten at the Guanghua location, and compared to that, the Zhongshan location has significantly fewer seats—about half as many—and the space is smaller as well. Luckily, this time, the staff seated us at a table for four, so dining was still quite comfortable.
Pros:
Cons:
Overall, this is a very delicious ramen shop that won’t disappoint, and it’s open during both afternoon and late-night hours, making it perfect for ramen lovers looking to satisfy their cravings any time of day! I personally would be willing to come back for a bowl from time to time~
I checked online and found that this ramen shop in Taipei is highly recommended. As a ramen enthusiast, I certainly had to go and experience it.
I visited during the dining hours, and there were several groups of customers waiting outside. After about twenty minutes, I finally got a seat. Ordering was done by scanning a QR code, but the website was a bit slow that day, and I had to keep pressing it with no response, although I eventually managed to place my order.
This time, I ordered the rich chicken broth ramen. The soup was very salty, and I could hardly taste the chicken broth flavor; the chashu had two pieces of pork and two pieces of chicken. The pork chashu was also quite salty, while the chicken was okay. As for the noodles, you could choose the firmness, and I opted for hard noodles, which were decent.
Overall, it was acceptable, but I wasn't overly impressed.
Arriving at the frequently crowded ramen shop "Menya Chiyun." This time we visited the Lin Sen location. However, since it rained all day and there was a heavy downpour during that time, we didn't have to queue when we arrived. 🤣
The menu features various ramen with different broth and meat combinations. 🍜
Signature All-in-One - Yuzu-flavored Broth
Price: $350
The broth has a relatively refreshing flavor with a hint of yuzu and is slightly salty. The toppings include a soft-boiled egg, chashu pork, sous-vide chicken, chicken meatballs, seaweed, and chopped green onions. The soft-boiled egg isn't very sweet, but it has the perfect doneness. The chashu pork is quite tender and decent. I found the sous-vide chicken to be quite good, not fishy, and with a nice texture. The chicken meatballs were just okay; I felt they were a bit too much if eaten in excess. 🤣
Another broth that's richer and more flavorful
The toppings are similar. This broth is thicker, and I think it's pretty good. It’s not too salty. My friend preferred this broth. 🤣
Pan-fried dumplings
The skin is thin and slightly crispy. The dumplings 🥟 come with a dipping sauce that includes vinegar, which I felt somewhat overpowered the dumpling's flavor. The chili sauce on the side is quite tasty and has a nice spiciness. 🌶️
Overall, I feel that the price for this ramen is quite high, but since there's no need to queue, it's worth a try! 🤣
🍜 Noodle House Qianyun🍜
I originally wanted to eat ramen because I didn’t pay attention to the time⌚️
I didn’t see that the day I went was a day off.
It’s just a waste of time🥲 I’m super stupid😟
But that day I really wanted to eat ramen for some reason🍜
After searching for a long time, I finally found this ramen shop. Go there quickly.
Many ramen restaurants have queues. If you are in a hurry, you don’t have to queue for this one, you can sit down directly👍
Ordered a bowl of chicken white soup ramen
The soup itself is not very rich.
The meat part includes chicken barbecued pork, pork barbecued pork and meatballs.
With an additional egg, I think the overall ingredients are quite sufficient.
If you are worried that the soup is too salty, you can ask for clear soup from the store.
It tastes delicious
Grilled BBQ Pork Rice
I am a person who loves eating barbecued pork🐷
So whenever I go to a ramen restaurant and they have barbecued pork rice, I will definitely order it.
The barbecued pork rice in ramen shops are all served in small bowls🥣
Doesn’t take up much space
The taste is a bit salty and there is quite a lot of meat.
A must try for those who love salty food!
Chicken fried dumplings🥟
The dumplings in the store are divided into chicken and pork
There are also fried dumplings and pan-fried dumplings
This time I ordered fried dumplings
The dough of the dumplings🥟 is fried very crispy
Taste very good
They have special dipping sauce for dumplings
It tastes sour and sweet, and is delicious when paired with dumplings
The store is a bit hot, so those who are afraid of heat may want to consider it.
A famous late-night ramen shop on Linsen North Road.
The soup base is mainly chicken white soup.
Today we had a great value set meal for two.
It consists of two bowls of noodles, two side dishes and two drinks.
We chose two bowls of pomelo-flavored and salt-flavored chicken white soup, Tang Yang chicken, fried dumplings, grapefruit tea and oolong tea.
The whole combination, plus the extra soft-boiled eggs and a side of noodles, totals 960.
Qianyun's chicken white soup base is quite rich. If you don't want it to be too thick, choosing the refreshing salty grapefruit flavor is quite suitable.
I like the noodle to be slightly firmer, and the slightly harder radish in the noodle is used to adjust the texture, so it tastes quite balanced.
The lingering fragrance of grapefruit in the soup base also makes people feel refreshing.
Shu Fei's barbecued pork tastes quite soft and tender. I think this should be the average taste of chicken barbecued pork.
The Tang Yang chicken is served at a very high temperature, so be careful not to get burned if you eat it in a hurry. It tastes like... just ordinary and delicious Japanese fried chicken, nothing special.
Fried dumplings are much more interesting. The juicy chicken dumplings conflict and harmonize with the crispy fried skin. The finishing touch is that the fillings of the dumplings are filled with perilla leaves. The aroma of perilla makes the greasy feeling on the skin disappear a lot, leaving only Loaded with delicious food.
The drinks are nothing special, but they are quite delicious. There are a lot of grapefruit peels in the grapefruit tea, which makes the whole drink delicious and delicious.
Located close to Taipei's nightlife district, Menwu Qianyun is open until 4am at the latest. In addition to serving local tourists, it is also an excellent late-night snack option nearby.
Recommended to everyone.
