Arriving at the frequently crowded ramen shop "Menya Chiyun." This time we visited the Lin Sen location. However, since it rained all day and there was a heavy downpour during that time, we didn't have to queue when we arrived. 🤣
The menu features various ramen with different broth and meat combinations. 🍜
Signature All-in-One - Yuzu-flavored Broth
Price: $350
The broth has a relatively refreshing flavor with a hint of yuzu and is slightly salty. The toppings include a soft-boiled egg, chashu pork, sous-vide chicken, chicken meatballs, seaweed, and chopped green onions. The soft-boiled egg isn't very sweet, but it has the perfect doneness. The chashu pork is quite tender and decent. I found the sous-vide chicken to be quite good, not fishy, and with a nice texture. The chicken meatballs were just okay; I felt they were a bit too much if eaten in excess. 🤣
Another broth that's richer and more flavorful
The toppings are similar. This broth is thicker, and I think it's pretty good. It’s not too salty. My friend preferred this broth. 🤣
Pan-fried dumplings
The skin is thin and slightly crispy. The dumplings 🥟 come with a dipping sauce that includes vinegar, which I felt somewhat overpowered the dumpling's flavor. The chili sauce on the side is quite tasty and has a nice spiciness. 🌶️
Overall, I feel that the price for this ramen is quite high, but since there's no need to queue, it's worth a try! 🤣
