Recommended by Michelin Bib Gourmand: Congee and Side Dishes Restaurant 🍲🍚
Before visiting, I was worried it would be like the very popular congee place Xiao Lizzi, which I don’t like as much (confusing layout, very noisy, and the dishes were cold).
Fortunately, as soon as I arrived, the staff warmly welcomed us, and the dishes and environment exceeded my concerns 😆
🥘
Orders:
🌶️ Spicy Chicken Cubes ($80):
This restaurant's signature dish is indeed delicious!
Compared to typical stir-fried restaurants with larger and chunkier chicken pieces, the meat here is small and the coating is not too thick, making it great to pair with congee.
🥚 Kung Pao Century Egg ($60):
People who love century eggs will adore this dish; it has a stronger flavor and is salty, making it very appetizing 🤤
🍅 Tomato and Egg Stir-Fry ($50):
Egg is the main ingredient here; it doesn’t have much tomato flavor. It’s even smoother and softer than some Hong Kong-style silky eggs and definitely worth eating! (Next time, I would want my own plate 🤤)
🍆 Dry-Fried Eggplant ($60):
The texture is between typical bento dishes and Din Tai Fung. Personally, I prefer eggplants to be softer like those in bento boxes.
🥔 Sour Shredded Potatoes ($60):
Tangy and crunchy, very appetizing.
🫘 Sweet Bean Paste ($40):
So this is what it’s called! 🤣 It has an orange hue, slightly sweet, and it’s not the kind with a thick sugary coating.
🍚 Plain Congee ($10):
Charged by the bowl.

Would I revisit? Yes!
