The coffee quality is excellent, the latte has a smooth taste, and there is a variety of bean selections worth trying. The prices are affordable, around 100 yuan, and I especially recommend the iced Americano and hand-brewed coffee.
The café features a warm wooden style; although it is small, it is charming and suitable for quietly enjoying coffee or savoring it by the windowsill.
The staff is friendly and the service is quick; even during busy times, they can maintain efficiency, allowing customers to feel the thoughtful service.

This takeout coffee shop has been on my to-try list for a long time, and I've seen quite a few reviews about it on Fooday. Today, I finally got to visit since I was near Xingtian Temple!
"Summer Wild Bean" is located near Xingtian Temple Station, about a 2-minute walk from Exit 4. It’s not on the main road, but if you walk inside from Songjiang Road, you’ll see quite a few people standing at the entrance, making it easy to find!
"Summer Wild Bean" primarily serves takeout. They do offer on-site drinking options (some beverages can only be enjoyed on-site and cannot be taken away), but most customers drink standing up, as there are no seating areas inside—only a few chairs placed on the street.
Since there are only two people handling the checkout and making coffee, even for takeout, you'll need to wait for a bit. I spent about 5 minutes waiting in line to order and another 5 minutes waiting for my coffee (if it's brewed fresh, you may have to wait even longer).
It's worth noting that despite the busy pace, the staff are very friendly, with a gentle tone and warm smiles. In the cold weather, it really gives customers a sense of warmth!
The coffee prices are quite reasonable, with a cup costing around 100 NT dollars—much better than many cafés that start at around 150 NT dollars, so it doesn’t hurt the wallet too much.
Hot Latte (Medium) $95
Upon my first sip, I thought, "Hmm.... seems kind of ordinary? Why is the business so good?" But as I continued to drink, I realized the beans are really smooth. Although it's not the type of latte I usually prefer, with a strong milky flavor, it's completely free of bitterness, which explains why so many people enjoy it!
The summer bean shop that has been recommended by friends has finally been visited by me today after only having the coffee taken out by others before.
The shop is located in an alley near the Xingtian Temple, right at the corner of a triangular window. The store is small and has a wooden decor overall. There is a small window where you can place your order, and you can also sneak a peek inside to see the staff busily brewing coffee.
Their coffee is quite affordable, with a cup costing around 100 NT dollars. They also have hand-brewed coffee options that start from 150 NT dollars, depending on the type of beans. Interestingly, they offer a "stand and drink" option, where you can get a small cup to drink on-site. This is quite suitable for busy office workers looking to get an instant caffeine boost.
Today, I ordered the light roasted iced drip coffee. They prepare their iced drip coffee daily, but in limited quantities (after all, they can't just start dripping it after you order), so I was lucky that they had some today! I also ordered an iced latte.
I found their latte to be very impressive; it was smooth and enjoyable. They use high-quality 100% fresh milk from the "Yogurt" brand, which is very fresh and sweet. It's not the cheap powdered milk or creamers, but 100% fresh milk. A medium cup only costs 95 NT dollars, which I think is a great deal. They even allow you to change the beans for different single-origin coffee on that day; I’ll have to try that next time.
The iced drip coffee didn’t leave much of an impression on me; I only remember that it wasn’t very bitter, which probably means it's quite drinkable. But the latte definitely left a stronger impression on me!
In conclusion, this is a lovely takeout coffee spot that’s perfect for caffeine-addicted office workers to grab a cup to go in the morning or at noon. Drinking on-site is also very comfortable. If I have business nearby in the future, I would be willing to visit again!
It was recommended many times on Fooday, so I finally went 🤣
Business is really good, there are many people waiting on the roadside, and there are chairs opposite to sit on. There are three people in the store, and the coffee is actually served very quickly!
The single-origin latte is delicious. Today, I used sun-dried Ethiopian beans, which are lightly roasted and very smooth! Generally, latte is medium-dark roasted and has a more obvious bitter taste. You can choose based on your personal preference!
And considering the quality of the coffee, I personally think the price is very affordable!
Next time I want to try their hand brew and crushed lemon!
It’s been a long time since I drank a latte that I like so much hehe💗🍒☄️
I have seen two recommendations on Fooday. I really wanted to drink coffee this afternoon, so I walked a while and visited.
Even though it was raining a little, there were still some people drinking and chatting outside. I saw that his latte had normal and concentrated reduction, so I asked about the roasting level of the beans. The default was medium-dark roast, and I originally planned to order concentrated reduction. But after hearing this, the clerk said: We have medium-light roasted beans that can be used to make latte! Really considerate~
The latte itself is very smooth and fragrant. I brought a bag of beans with me and will report back on the quality after cooking them in a few days!

I discovered this coffee shop on fooday and just happened to be commuting, so I made a pilgrimage⋯
It's a really eye-catching little shop in a small alley. A medium-cup iced latte is served inside, but rather than being used inside, you can actually drink it while standing on the small wooden window sill next to the shop.
While drinking, I looked at the endless flow of people and ordered some coffee. I wonder if it was an illusion or something? It feels like the customers here all come here frequently. The sound of grinding beans never stops, and the aroma of brown sugar coffee wafts out.
The latte milk tastes so strong! And after swallowing it, it still sticks on the tongue, but I can also feel the mellow flavor of the coffee. Next time I want to try American style or buy beans and brew them myself!
