The cloud sea urchin chicken white soup ramen from Longlin Ramen has a rich broth, paired with a variety of seafood such as salmon roe and scallops, creating a unique flavor. The cheese mousse and rich beef bone broth of the Longyan beef bone ramen are surprising, and the diverse meat options in the pork bone seafood ramen are also satisfying.
The indoor space is spacious, with plenty of seating and bright lighting, providing a comfortable dining environment. Even during busy times, the waiting time is not long.
The staff are enthusiastic, and using the self-service ordering machine is convenient and quick. They can quickly answer customers' questions, and the overall service experience is good.
▶ Dragon Flame Beef Bone Ramen $390 ◀
What makes the beef bone ramen special is the cheese on top, and it's cheese mousse!! Very cool! The broth has a rich beef bone aroma, and there are about six slices of beef on top. Although the beef is medium-rare, it still tends to be a bit overcooked. This ramen has a thick noodle body, and the great thing is that they serve a whole soft-boiled egg!
▶ Pork Bone Seafood Meat Platter $350 ◀
The broth is a rich milky white pork bone soup, and the meat platter really has a lot of meat! There are three types in total -- thinly sliced chashu, sous-vide chicken, and grilled chicken thigh. I particularly like the grilled chicken thigh, as it is very tender and absorbs a lot of broth. The noodles are thinner, but the firmness is just right! The broth is very rich, and if you find it too heavy towards the end, you can request a bowl of light broth!
Located near Zhongshan Station of the MRT, Longlin Ramen features a self-ordering machine, allowing customers to place their orders before taking a seat, which simplifies the process. With ample seating, even during busy times, there is usually no long wait. The environment is tidy, and the service is efficient, making it suitable for diners looking to treat themselves to a bowl of exquisite ramen in the Zhongshan district.
"Sea Urchin and Matsuba Crab Chicken Bone Broth"
The soup base is rich enough to be used for dipping noodles but remains non-greasy. The flavor of the sea urchin perfectly complements the hearty chicken broth, providing a multi-layered and fulfilling taste. The matsuba crab meat is fresh, sweet, and delicate, adding more depth to the broth. If you're worried about the richness, you can request a bowl of clear broth from the staff to dilute it to your liking. The bowl also contains a whole soft-boiled egg, tender chicken thigh, and okra, enhancing the overall texture and variety. This ramen is nearly flawless and a must-order highlight.
"Yuzu-Flower Ramen"
This bowl takes a refreshing and elegant route, with the fruity acidity of yuzu intertwining with the sweet fragrance of osmanthus. It is light and not overly rich, complemented by sea grapes, salmon roe, and seared scallops, which provide a savory support. A soft-boiled egg and chicken thigh maintain a tender quality while this bowl offers a "layered enjoyment" compared to the rich sea urchin chicken broth—where the aromatic, sweet, and fresh flavors are distinctly separate, making it perfect for those who prefer lighter dishes.
"Deluxe Chashu Rice"
If ramen is the star, then this bowl of chashu rice is definitely the surprising supporting character. Topped with egg yolk, salmon roe, and seared scallops, it conveys a sense of luxury, so much so that the chashu beneath is hardly visible at first. Upon tasting, the salmon roe bursts with flavor, while the sweetness and heft of the scallops intertwine with the chashu below, creating a multi-dimensional taste experience. The visual and gustatory satisfaction makes this dish highly recommended as a must-try.
Although Longlin Ramen's prices are slightly higher, the quality of ingredients and presentation justifies the cost. The "Sea Urchin Matsuba Crab Chicken Bone Broth" is worth a special trip for a bowl, with a rich but not greasy broth combined with the sweetness of the matsuba crab, making it worthy of its signature title. For those who enjoy refreshing tastes, the "Yuzu-Flower Ramen" is a great choice. And if you're looking for a luxurious addition, the "Deluxe Chashu Rice" will definitely satisfy. Overall, it’s a place ideal for occasionally treating yourself to a high-quality ramen experience.

Dickson's Fooday Mouthpiece Review #279
This time I visited a ramen shop near Zhongshan Station.
There are many ramen shops on my Google Maps bucket list waiting to be discovered, and there are indeed quite a few ramen shops around Zhongshan Station area. The competition is really intense! In one alley, there might be two or three new ramen shops competing with each other. But even with so many ramen shops, almost every one still requires you to wait in line to get in. It seems that people in Taiwan have become very accustomed to the waiting culture for ramen.
Longlin, the ramen shop I visited, focuses on seafood options, including scallops, sea urchin, salmon roe, and shrimp. It's a pretty unique type of ramen! Therefore, I have always wanted to find the opportunity to visit.
Because I visited on a weekend dinner time and did not queue before the shop opened, I had to wait for a while to get in. However, compared to other ramen shops, the waiting time here wasn’t too long. I think I waited about 20 minutes on that day before getting seated! It's a fairly acceptable waiting time.
The dining area inside the shop is quite spacious, and they also use a self-service ordering machine. The types of ramen are numerous, mostly topped with seafood ingredients. If you enjoy seafood like scallops and salmon roe, I think this ramen shop would be one of your favorites!
Personally, I think this ramen is quite good, and I would definitely come back for another visit!

👉 Cloud Sea Urchin Chicken Broth Ramen $390
This chicken broth ramen, I personally added some extra toppings, including chashu and more salmon roe, along with an additional scallop 😂😂😂. From the picture, you can see it looks quite extravagant—it's almost an explosion of flavors!
I personally really like the broth of this chicken ramen, and the noodles are thin, with a perfect texture! So in terms of the ramen, I definitely recommend it. The ramen is topped with many seafood ingredients like salmon roe, and overall I think the flavor is fantastic.
As for the other toppings, including chashu and scallops, the chashu tastes just like the regular chashu you’d expect—pretty good. The scallops are somewhat ordinary, just your typical sashimi-grade scallops.
👉 Deluxe Chashu Rice $280
I highly recommend this if you love seafood dishes, especially if you really enjoy salmon roe. This Deluxe Chashu Rice is a must-order. From the picture, you can see the portion is quite generous—the salmon roe is almost overflowing!
Besides the salmon roe, the chashu rice itself is also very delicious, and the portion is quite sizable, which is worth the price. I can highly recommend this!
👉 Fried Chicken Karaage $120
In terms of fried items, I feel it’s somewhat ordinary. The fried chicken karaage is pretty standard—nothing particularly impressive about it, just a regular fried item to accompany the meal.
Of course, if you still feel hungry after the ramen and chashu rice, you can always add some fried items to share!
So, overall, I think the ramen here is quite good, and since there are various ramen options, I will try different ramen during my next visit.
I highly recommend the Deluxe Chashu Rice, so overall, I feel this ramen shop is definitely worth another visit!
⭐️Atmosphere Section
Compared to other traditional ramen shops, the space in this shop is quite spacious, with plenty of seating. Even when I was dining, there were many empty tables available.
I think the shorter waiting time can be attributed to this spaciousness. Besides the basic bar seating, there are also tables available for two or four people.
The lighting in the shop is bright and organized, and there is ample width in the walkways, making the overall dining experience quite comfortable!
⭐️Service Section
Like other ramen shops, this one uses a self-service ordering machine. After ordering, you just hand the order slip to the staff and wait for your ramen to be served.
So, in terms of service, it's similar to other ramen shops. However, the staff here are slightly more enthusiastic; if you have any questions, you can easily ask them and they'll quickly assist you.
I think the service is pretty good!
⭐️Price Section
Probably because the types of ramen are more unique and the ingredients special, the seafood options tend to have a higher price point, making the overall ramen prices slightly higher than regular ramen shops. However, given the seafood focus, I think this is understandable and quite normal.
You won’t feel it's too expensive!
⭐️Overall
This ramen shop offers quite unique ramen varieties, including a wide range of seafood options featuring plenty of salmon roe and other seafood items. Moreover, the dining atmosphere is pretty comfortable.
It's a ramen shop I will definitely visit again, and the waiting time isn’t excessively long. Considering all these factors, I highly recommend this ramen shop!
If you're a ramen lover, you must come and give it a try!

"Longlin Ramen" is located near Zhongshan Station, only a 3-minute walk from Exit 5, but it is hidden in the back part of the alley. I am not sure whether it is because of the rainy day or the location. It seems that there are fewer people. Today is If you come here around 7pm on weekdays, you can sit down directly without queuing.
Recently, many new ramen shops have opened around Zhongshan Station. Compared with the well-known old brands "Oni Jinbang" and "Takaryu Tokyo Shoyu Ramen-Ranmaru", the newly opened "Kirin Creation Ramen Shop" and "Tenji Noodles" In fact, none of them are inferior (the "Chiyin Chicken White Soup" that has been open for a while is also excellent), and they all have left a place in my heart.
Adhering to the spirit of trying all the ramen shops around Zhongshan Station, when I found out that "Ryurin Ramen" had opened a new restaurant, I immediately put it on my to-eat list and took advantage of the rainy day to check it out!
Compared with other ramen restaurants, "Ryurin Ramen" has quite a large space in the store, so there are a lot of seats. Maybe this is one of the reasons why you don't have to queue today (?)
The ramen noodles here are thin noodles, you can choose the softness and hardness, and you can add a ball of noodles for free. In terms of portion size and CP value, it is great, and boys are not afraid of not being full!
Charred Onion Soy Sauce Ramen $280
It has a dark soup base. Just by looking at the color, you would think it might be quite salty, but it actually tastes good and not too oily.
The base of soy sauce flavor, coupled with burnt green onions, makes the soup taste very special. It has a taste that I have never tasted in other ramen restaurants. The first sip of the soup is amazing, but later it feels a bit greasy.
This bowl of ramen only has one piece of pork barbecued pork, the meat is delicious, but a bit lacking; there is also a soft-boiled egg, which is cooked just right
Tonkotsu fish ramen $300
The soup in this bowl is thick, and it tastes a bit ordinary. It has a taste you can get in other ramen restaurants, but it is still delicious and has a light umami taste. Compared with the burnt onions and soy sauce, I personally feel that the tonkotsu fish is better. More durable
This bowl of ramen has three slices of pork barbecued pork + one piece of chicken barbecued pork. The amount of meat is more satisfying and it also has a soft-boiled egg. I would recommend this bowl.
Barbecued pork rice $60
Because I smelled a very fragrant barbecue smell when I walked in, I decided to order an extra bowl of barbecued pork rice. I added a lot of mayonnaise. The barbecued pork was quite large, the portion of meat was average, and there was quite a lot of rice. In terms of taste, I Personally I quite like it
Overall, I would give this ramen a score of about 70-75 points. It’s pretty good but not memorable. The price is above average. If you don’t have to queue up, you can visit again occasionally~
