This time we're reviewing Korean cuisine!!

Located in a small alley near Nanjing Fuxing – Korean Eatery!
In this age where Korean cuisine and "Oppas" are all the rage in Taipei,
this place is slightly different from other Korean restaurants.
One of its famous dishes is actually! Pig's trotters!

As expected, the legendary pig's trotters live up to their name.
One plate in, and it's delicious 🤤🤤🤤
👉 The pig's trotters aren't sticky and gelatinous like Taiwanese-style,
but presented in sliced meat form.

The flavor is perfectly marinated, matching well with the dry dishes,
it's tasty and chewy!
Additionally, there are many fresh vegetables for wraps,
which adds a lot of flavor and variety.

👉 The seafood pancakes are more like what you’d find at an ordinary Korean restaurant,
tasty but a bit lacking in creativity.

👉 The cold noodles are another memorable dish.
That day, we ordered sweet and sour and mildly spicy flavors,
each with its own style.
The sweet and sour flavor was less greasy and refreshing,
while the spicy one was like regular cold spicy noodles.

But both cold noodles,
are refreshing and delicious without being overly filling.

Overall, the food is memorable.
The pig's trotters portion is quite large;
one serving should be just right for four people,
but those with smaller appetites might not finish it 🤣🤣

That day, since we had more places to go later,
we didn’t drink here.

In terms of atmosphere, it’s like a typical Korean restaurant,
lively and noisy –
a great place to hang out and chat with friends.

The location is fairly convenient from the MRT station,
just a short walk from behind the Brother Hotel.

In conclusion, it’s a Korean place worth visiting,
suitable for gatherings with friends!

Additionally, the prices are surprisingly friendly.
Or have values started to disintegrate lately???

Turns out Korean cuisine is not just about BBQ or stir-fried rice cakes,
even pig's trotters have joined the fray!!!

As a child from Taiwan,
not only do I need to eat Taiwanese pig's trotters,
now even German pig's trotters won’t cut it.
Today we’re going for Korean pig's trotters!!!

Just a kick like Messi!

However, I think this place is more suitable for a group of three to five friends to enjoy together;
if it’s a date with a girl, unless she has a big appetite,
you might not be able to try many types of dishes before you’re done 🥹🥹🥹

Especially one order of pig's trotters can be quite substantial.

How about this –
bring her and her close friends, or even a crush of hers along!
A group of four can enjoy together. As the saying goes: "In a group of three, one must be my teacher."

Take the chance to mix it up with multiple people,
show off your bravado to her friends!

and you can showcase your ability to have fun with a group,
boosting your sense of humor in front of her friends +++++

during group dining occasions!

The portions of the meals are quite large and the taste is quite authentic (the boss is Korean, and the waiter who received us that day is also Korean!) This is my second time to eat at this restaurant, and the experience was pretty good both times!
This time I ordered the pork trotters ($880) which I wanted to order before but didn't get because there weren't enough people. Although it wasn't cheap, the portion was really large. The five of us ended up packing it up without finishing it. The crystal clear gelatin on the outer layer of the pig's feet is very beautiful. It tastes like QQ and it won't be greasy, but it will still be a bit greasy in the end if you eat too much. The QQ tastes a bit like smoked pig ears🤣 We are a little bit too Korean beef snow soup is a soup made from large beef bones. You can taste the strong aroma of beef bones. However, its original seasoning is quite light, so the clerk gave us a can of Korean white pepper and salt to add by ourselves. ~It feels like a soup rich in calcium

What was surprising was that the Korean barbecue we ordered was grilled by the clerk and served directly to us. Maybe it was because our table could no longer accommodate the space and there was no room to open the grill pan. The Korean barbecue was quite delicious, and I would recommend ordering the plum blossom pork. Pork belly is so oily🫨

Korean bibimbap does not use an iron pot but an iron basin, so naturally there is no rice cooker. I personally don’t like this dish very much and it is a bit boring (there is also a little less sauce, so I often end up with tasteless white rice)

There are unlimited refills of Korean side dishes. I recommend their kimchi, which is large, sour and not too spicy👍

Conclusion: It’s suitable for gathering with a large number of people to enjoy a variety of dishes. The meals are authentic and delicious and the portions are large! The location is also very good, less than ten minutes walk from Nanjing Fuxing MRT Station

It is recommended to book a table in advance, as it is a weekday evening and it is almost full.

The most authentic Korean food I have eaten in Taipei so far
The decorated roof tiles and the small dining area at the entrance look very Korean.
The shop assistants are all Korean. It really feels like you are abroad when you enter.

The great thing about the inside seats is that they are separated from the customers next to them by a transparent partition.
This time, two people went crazy and ordered five dishes. Each dish was huge.
Especially when you come here, you must order a plate of braised pig's feet for 880 yuan.
(The portion size is enough for 6 people. The two of us ate so much that it looked like it had not been touched. We packed it all up and took it home😵‍💫)
After some calculation, the cp value is actually very high.

·The portion is large and very enjoyable. It is not very crispy, but the aroma of the batter is enough. You can taste seafood in every bite.

·The dishes with Korean traditional hot sauce are great. It contains vegetables, chewy rice cake slices, chicken, and cheese. It is very suitable for rice and noodles. However, there is not much cheese on it, and it is not the kind that will string together.
𓌉𓇋Korean braised feet$880
·I really hate eating pork trotters and hate the fat taste, but this is the Korean braised pork trotters that I take the initiative to order. It is mostly lean meat and does not have a soft texture. It can be eaten with QQ elasticity. The bouncy collagen is served with dipping sauce and pickled onions. It tastes delicious no matter what it is paired with. It tastes enough on its own, and it’s no problem even ordering this plate for a gathering of 10 people!

·It comes with a bottle of vinegar and mustard that you can add as you like. There is also a pair of scissors to cut the cold noodles into bite-sized pieces. It tastes really cool and refreshing. There are also crispy white radish shreds inside, which eliminates the greasy feeling immediately.
The portion size is also large. It is recommended to share with 3-4 people.
