Scallop with Vegetable Jelly - The scallops were delicious as expected. I personally don't like eating vegetables, but this vegetable jelly was not bad. The bread was okay, just not my style. For the soup, I ordered the cheesy baked onion soup, which was quite rich and I really liked it. Although cheesy baked dishes can get a bit heavy later on, I finished it before I had the chance to feel overwhelmed.
For the main course, I ordered the sirloin steak. The chef recommended medium or medium-rare, so I went for medium and thought it was pretty good—tender and not chewy.
The dessert was quite special; it was my first time trying this type of dessert, and I'm not sure how to describe it exactly. Anyway, it had chestnuts and fruit inside... Overall, it was quite sweet and tasted good, but the texture was very unique.
For a family birthday, we received a birthday cake, which was an ice cream cheesecake.
The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was good, and the service was nice. Although it seemed like there were fewer items on the menu, the portion sizes were just right for me—not so much that I felt uncomfortably full.
