Located around Shandao Temple, this curry shop is quite famous, and to be honest, it's not a cheap place considering its prices!
The staff introduced the menu in great detail, clearly explaining each dish, which made ordering much smoother for us.
As for the food, I personally think it's above average, but considering the prices, it feels slightly expensive.
The beef was medium rare, but it didn't taste too raw. Paired with the curry sauce, I found the texture pretty good. The portion size felt quite sufficient for a guy (I was quite full), and with their current check-in promotion, you can get a free serving of fried beef.
The fried beef had a sprinkle of powdered sugar on top, giving it a particularly unique taste. I personally recommend checking it out through the promotion to give it a try!
For dessert, we had matcha tofu pudding. The matcha flavor wasn't very strong, and the sweet syrup wasn't too sweet; in fact, it tasted pretty good and was a refreshing and enjoyable dessert.
Another downside is that they only accept cash with no other payment options. Thankfully, I checked in advance, or else it would have been awkward.
Overall, it's worth trying, but I wouldn't go often.
