The restaurant offers a variety of noodle dishes, with the braised beef dry noodles and the secret vinegar-flavored noodles receiving great reviews. The beef slices are delicious, and the sauce has a fragrant aroma of Sichuan pepper. Side dishes like braised duck blood and cold pig skin are also worth trying, and the prices are reasonable.
The dining environment is clean and bright, the space inside the restaurant is not large but there are plenty of seats. It combines nostalgic and modern elements to create a comfortable atmosphere.
The service staff are friendly, and the ordering process is simple. After filling out the order form, you place your order at the counter. Due to the high customer flow in the store, it is recommended to make a reservation in advance or avoid peak hours.

Braised Beef Dried Noodle $140
The beef slices are very delicious! The sauce has a flavor that might include Sichuan peppercorns or similar spices, but it's only salty and not spicy. The noodles are wide. The toppings include bean sprouts, cabbage, dried tofu, and half a braised egg.
Overall it's quite good, except for the cabbage being cut into strips which makes it a bit hard to understand in terms of taste. Normally, I don’t like dried tofu much, but it didn’t stand out in the noodles and instead blended really well.
Secret Vinegar-Flavor Noodle $75
The noodles are thin, and the toppings are the same as the braised beef dried noodle, just the expected flavors.
Chilled Pig Skin Salad $50
The portion is quite generous.
Grandma's Braised Duck Blood $50
Four large pieces, very tender and tasty.
Classic Side Dish Combo $50
Braised egg + kelp + dried tofu
The side dishes are all quite worthwhile, highly recommend the braised duck blood, and the noodles are also pretty good. It's not expensive, and if I want to eat noodles near Taipei Main Station, I'll definitely come back!
I passed by and saw a noodle shop with an eye-catching name and design. During the popular lunch period on weekdays, the inside is fully booked and takeaways have to wait outside the shop.
There is not much space in the store, but we still managed to fit in four-person tables × 3 + two-person tables × 2 + wall seats × 7 = 23 people.
According to a magazine posted outside the store, the team that was originally an Italian restaurant switched to making Taiwanese pasta. You can feel that they are reinterpreting traditional pasta in a contemporary and youthful style.
I ordered the braised beef jerky noodles and the beef tendon slices tasted as expected. Although there was nothing special about it, there was a lot of it.
The broadside performance is great! The dough is chewy and chewy, and the sauce goes well with it. I like it very much.
Jujube is used as a traditional ingredient here, but the sweetness seems... very subtle in the overall salty taste.
The visual design and music playing in the store are cool. They only accept cash and no invoices.
There is not much space inside, so it may not be suitable for people with children or strollers. There are many people during lunch time, so you may have to wait if you want to eat inside. It is recommended to avoid peak meal times.
This time I ordered the Lao Tai Ke pepper and sesame noodles. The noodles are thick and chewy. The pepper and sesame sauce is seasoned with rich texture. The sesame is spicy, but the spiciness is just right. I think it can be used by people who don’t like spicy food. Accept it, the noodles taste slightly sweet. If you feel it is not spicy enough, there is also spicy oil beside the table so you can add it yourself.
The side dish combination includes dried kelp, tofu and eggs, plus a special sauce, which is spicy and a bit numb and sour. It is a very special side dish taste.
It is also a restaurant that requires queuing during lunch time, and many female office workers come to dine. If you have not come here during dinner time, I am not sure.
This time I ordered the old Taiwanese special pepper and sesame noodles combined with classic side dishes. The noodles themselves have a peppery aroma, and actually taste slightly spicy. Overall, the taste is not very strong. It comes with a piece of barbecued pork and three kinds of side dishes. The noodles are quite chewy, but now the small bowl has been swollen. At $100, the portion is actually a little on the small side. I recommend that boys order a larger bowl for $10 to feel fuller.
The classic side dish combo is $50, including dried tofu, kelp and braised eggs, and it tastes pretty good with sauces.
Half of the interior decoration objects are mainly nostalgic window frames, there is also a hanging ornament made of old banknotes, and the other side is a hanging scroll related to ingredients and food, which has its own style. However, the space in the store is small, so it is recommended not to have too many people dining together. The maximum is a table for four people. If there are too many people, they will need to sit separately.
Overall, it is a Taiwanese noodle shop that you can try if you don't have to queue for a long time.
This shop specializes in selling all kinds of noodles. I have always liked dry noodles. Of course I can’t let go of this shop. In addition to pork noodles, sesame paste noodles, beef noodles, fried noodles, etc., the signature dish is chili pepper noodles. Sesame noodles, plus many braised options
There are not many seats in the store. When I arrived at 12:05 noon, it was already 90% full. Most of the customers seemed to be office workers from nearby who came to eat at noon. The seats were quite crowded; there were also many people waiting for takeaways.
Lao Tai Ke’s special pepper and sesame noodles $95
There is a piece of pork barbecued pork, half a tea egg, some dark green vegetables + bean sprouts + bean sprouts + dried meat. The overall taste is on the strong side. It is quite salty after eating and will make you want to drink water.
There is a chili mark on this noodle dish on the menu, but I personally don’t think it tastes spicy at all. There is spicy oil on the table, you can add it separately. Add a little spicy oil and it will come out immediately. People who like spicy food can try it.
The green vegetables taste a little bitter, which I personally don't like; although there is only one piece of pork barbecue, it is quite thick and not very hard, which is not bad; I think the beans and dates are a plus, purely because I like to eat beans and dates. And because it’s sweet, it seems to neutralize the salty taste of the noodles
The wide noodles are chewy, but the portion is not much. I am a girl with a normal food intake, but I feel that I am only 70% full after finishing a bowl of noodles. I can add 10 yuan to make it a larger bowl, or order another soup or braised food.
Overall, I think the pepper and sesame noodles are delicious, but the pepper and sesame flavor is not enough. However, the price is quite acceptable in the Beiche area. I want to try other noodles next time~
