This shop specializes in selling all kinds of noodles. I have always liked dry noodles. Of course I can’t let go of this shop. In addition to pork noodles, sesame paste noodles, beef noodles, fried noodles, etc., the signature dish is chili pepper noodles. Sesame noodles, plus many braised options
There are not many seats in the store. When I arrived at 12:05 noon, it was already 90% full. Most of the customers seemed to be office workers from nearby who came to eat at noon. The seats were quite crowded; there were also many people waiting for takeaways.
Lao Tai Ke’s special pepper and sesame noodles $95
There is a piece of pork barbecued pork, half a tea egg, some dark green vegetables + bean sprouts + bean sprouts + dried meat. The overall taste is on the strong side. It is quite salty after eating and will make you want to drink water.
There is a chili mark on this noodle dish on the menu, but I personally don’t think it tastes spicy at all. There is spicy oil on the table, you can add it separately. Add a little spicy oil and it will come out immediately. People who like spicy food can try it.
The green vegetables taste a little bitter, which I personally don't like; although there is only one piece of pork barbecue, it is quite thick and not very hard, which is not bad; I think the beans and dates are a plus, purely because I like to eat beans and dates. And because it’s sweet, it seems to neutralize the salty taste of the noodles
The wide noodles are chewy, but the portion is not much. I am a girl with a normal food intake, but I feel that I am only 70% full after finishing a bowl of noodles. I can add 10 yuan to make it a larger bowl, or order another soup or braised food.
Overall, I think the pepper and sesame noodles are delicious, but the pepper and sesame flavor is not enough. However, the price is quite acceptable in the Beiche area. I want to try other noodles next time~
