This is a Taiwanese dessert shop located about a 10-minute walk from Nanjing Fuxing Station. There were local people as well as Japanese tourists! It seems that it's been introduced somewhere, as there are quite a few Japanese customers as well✨

【Atmosphere of the shop】
The interior is clean and tidy, but there aren’t many seats. Because of this, you can enjoy the Taiwanese atmosphere and desserts in a leisurely and quiet manner! The toppings for the douhua (tofu pudding) can be seen in a case, but since there are no pictures in the menu, it’s a bit hard to imagine what they look like😢 I also didn’t know which items corresponded to the menu, but when I showed a picture to the staff, they kindly helped me!

◎ Pearl Milk Tea Shaved Ice
This is a milk tea-flavored shaved ice topped with two types of tapioca and sesame pudding! It looks cute and the portion is quite generous! The flavor of the milk tea shaved ice is robust, and it doesn’t become watery even as it melts. The tapioca is chewy and has a good texture, making it delicious! Personally, the sesame pudding is my top recommendation! It’s quite firm and has a rich flavor. I really loved the smooth texture!

Since the portion is pretty substantial, I also recommend sharing!

The menu features various other types of shaved ice and traditional Taiwanese desserts like douhua! Even though it's located in the city center, it's a calm environment which is also recommended✨

Chunmei Ice Room is a small artistic ice shop located in an alley. The interior decoration is very simple and beautiful, quite in line with the preferences of today's young people. On weekday evenings, there is a need to queue; you scan a QR code to register. I didn't pay attention to how long we waited, but I chatted with friends for a while before it was our turn.

This time, my friends and I ordered:

• Mango Milk Shaved Ice ($220)
  When it arrived, it looked like a lot of ingredients and quite extravagant. The mango was fresh and delicious, and it was a pretty large portion, which my friends shared.

• Health Soy Milk Tofu Pudding (two toppings, $70)
  I chose the lightly sweetened soy milk base; it wasn't too sweet, just right. The toppings were peanuts🥜 and red and white glutinous rice balls. The peanuts were cooked soft but still retained a bit of crunch, and the glutinous rice balls were round, plump, and chewy, which were quite tasty.

• Almond Three Treasures Soup (three toppings, $85)
  This was also lightly sweetened almond soup. I chose the toppings of peanuts🥜, red and white glutinous rice balls, and tapioca pearls. Since my friend and I chose similar toppings, it tasted quite similar to the Soy Milk Tofu, only differing in the soup base with added almond fragrance, which was also nice.

Overall, the desserts were good, but the prices were on the higher side. I felt that compared to other dessert shops, there was nothing particularly special about it, so the cost-performance ratio was lower. Having to wait in line for a while left me a bit confused about what we were waiting for 😅. The same items can be found at other ice cream shops for a more reasonable price; perhaps the only difference is that this one has a prettier environment. Those who haven’t tried it may want to give it a shot, but if you have to wait in line, it might not be worth it.

There are not many items compared to other ice cream shops, but the items are quite unique and of high quality.
In addition, drinks and sweet soups are sold, and mochi is baked in winter.
