During the New Year period, a friend recommended a pizza place located on Zhongyi Street in the Xishu District of Chiayi City called "Hand in Pizza." This shop is quite famous in Chiayi, specializing in various creative flavors of wood-fired pizza. The atmosphere in the shop is nice, and the decor is quite unique.

We ordered the spicy meat sauce cheesy mashed potatoes, and this dish was truly impressive. The mashed potatoes were creamy, paired with a rich spicy meat sauce and cheese, creating a rich texture and a very unique flavor that made you want to have bite after bite.

As for the pizza, we chose the "Jason's BBQ Chicken Pizza" featured on the menu, which is said to be their signature flavor. However, it tasted pretty average, with nothing particularly stunning about it. Perhaps expectations were too high, and it felt like it was missing a bit of a highlight.

Overall, "Hand in Pizza" has creative dishes that definitely have their charm, especially the spicy meat sauce cheesy mashed potatoes, which are worth a try. As for the pizza, I might try other flavors next time.

A handcrafted pizza shop has been open in Chiayi for quite some time, probably since 2013. The first time I ate there was around that time. The shop has always been here, and the space is small, accommodating about 20 customers at most.

In the blink of an eye, ten years have passed, and the flavor is still delicious 😋

This time I went with a fellow food lover after watching Attack on Titan. We ordered two items:

❣️ Spicy Meat Sauce Baked Mashed Potatoes ❣️
The taste is great; the aroma of the potatoes blends well with the cheese. The middle part has meat sauce, which is labeled as mildly spicy, but I think it's not spicy at all 😂😂😂

❣️ Jason Statham Chicken ❣️
A special kind of pizza, with pieces of chicken on a thin crust, and there’s quite a bit of meat. The flavor is also great. We sprinkled on some chili powder, and everything was just wonderful 😊

We spent 470 yuan for the two of us, which is quite a reasonable price.

P.S. I generally like to order their Margherita pizza; it’s very refreshing and highly recommended! Additionally, they have a pizza called "Jiang Yanting," which has a complex story behind it, so if you visit, you can ask them about it!
