The clay pot dish is the signature item of the restaurant and a must-order. The fish meat has a slight earthy taste and is somewhat dry. The three-color egg is recommended, but the flavor is average.
The branch space is more crowded, but there are fewer people, and the environment is comfortable, making it suitable for customers who do not want to wait in line.
The service staff's attitude is good, and when the venue is full, you can use your phone to draw a waiting number. Overall, the dining experience is satisfactory.
Environment
If you find a lot of people at the main store, you can walk a few hundred meters to the branch. There will be far fewer people, but the space inside the store might be a bit more crowded. If it’s full, please take a number with your phone. I believe the taste of the ingredients won't be much different.
Dishes
📍 Claypot Dish + Fish (Large) 💰320
The claypot dish is the signature dish of this restaurant, and you absolutely have to order a bowl when you come here. It’s okay if you don't eat fish, but you must definitely order a bowl of the claypot dish. The fish has a slightly earthy taste, and because it's fried, it can be a bit dry.
📍 Three-Colored Eggs 💰80
Although recommended by the crown 👑, it doesn’t taste particularly special; it’s just the usual three-colored eggs.
Parking
There are many paid parking lots nearby. 🅿️
You can find a lot through Google.

Compared to our own store, this branch not far away does not require long queues, but the space is smaller and the air-conditioning is not cool enough.
It tastes the same as ours, in line with the taste of Lin Chongming's casserole in my memory. It is worth mentioning that although the casserole soup is based on pork bone stock, flat fish, chives and other ingredients, it also has the flavor of homemade sand tea sauce. If you don’t like sand tea, you may not like it (I do).
Fried fish heads may bring a unique flavor to the soup, but the fish head meat itself is hard and not a particularly worth eating part. According to interviews with store owners in the Netflix documentary "Snacks of the World: Asia", fish heads were originally fried for preservation, and perhaps because some elders liked to eat fish heads.
The Chinese cabbage, pork, and fried bean skin are all quite fresh and delicious, but compared with ordinary hot pot, the price is indeed higher after adding the fish head. Next time you visit, maybe you should order the casserole dish.
I have heard many people recommend the turkey rice here, but it is disappointing, especially compared to the Ahong restaurant not far away. The turkey is cold and the taste is separated from the rice. The two cannot complement each other. . Maybe we are hot chicken fat pie, not soy sauce pie😝
