It takes about 6 minutes to walk from the MRT station. This small shop can accommodate around 20 people. If you arrive after 12:00 PM on weekdays, there might be a chance of not finding a seat.

Vanilla Chicken Leg Fried Eggs $199 + 20 (substituting salad for fries)
The chicken leg is super tiny; you can see my hand in the photo for scale, and it tastes like pre-cooked chicken 🥲.
The fries are quite good, and the portion is large. They are sprinkled with a bit of cheese powder and are very crispy.
The bread is also delicious, with a crispy outer layer and a soft inside; the dipping sauce provided is a balsamic vinaigrette.

Smoked Salmon Asparagus Cream Pasta
The cream sauce has very little flavor, and even though I know pasta should be cooked until it's sauce-free, it was extremely dry...
The smoked salmon and asparagus were decent.

The set meal comes with a drink; I chose a cup of both red tea and green tea.
The red tea is longan red tea, which has a subtle longan fragrance; it's quite special.

Overall, I feel that the cost-performance ratio is low, and I wouldn't want to return.

Blue Gate Brunch on Tingzhou Road, a 7-minute walk from Guting MRT Station, can be said to be a restaurant with a pretty good value for money; if you want to have brunch but don’t want to spend more than two or three hundred yuan, this is the place to go It's indeed a good choice

The signature of Blue Door is the omelet, but this time we ordered the platter series

The first is the French egg omelette toast, which includes salad, American scrambled eggs, ham, German sausage and toast itself. The performance is quite satisfactory, nothing particularly out of the ordinary. The combination of French toast with honey syrup is classic and delicious.

Next, the frankfurter set includes salad, American scrambled eggs, German sausage and multigrain bread. The multigrain bread is coated with butter in the middle. It tastes delicious and sweet. I highly recommend it.

All packages come with drinks, but only black tea and green tea are available. Other drinks can be replaced with a discount of 20 yuan; the replacement American ice brew is mediocre and has room for improvement.

Although it is an average brunch restaurant overall, it is really suitable for daily gatherings. If you sleep until the afternoon on holidays, it would be good to have something to eat and chat with friends.
