I chose pork as my meat, sweet potato wide noodles as my main dish, and requested a mild level of spiciness. The soup base, which is a yellowish color, is made from simmered pork bones and has a very rich flavor. The chili oil used as the source of heat is stimulating but not overpowering, and of course, this is partly due to my request for mild spiciness.

The sweet potato wide noodles have a strong and chewy texture that is captivating; they absorb the soup better and have more resistance compared to regular sweet potato noodles. It's not easy to find sweet potato wide noodles; at least in the areas of Taipei and New Taipei that I know of, Weipin Xuan is currently the only place where you can get sweet potato 'wide noodles' in a Sichuan style restaurant.

In addition to ordering via QR code, you can also directly pick the ingredients you want from the vegetable section, weigh them, and then pay. However, I think the set meal is already very delicious.

Overall, it is a Sichuan dish that is suitable for both mild and stimulating flavors. If you don't want it too spicy, the Huangmen series is quite sufficient. If you can handle spice, there are drinks available for dine-in. Even if you don’t want to drink the tea in the restaurant, there are many drink shops nearby in the Siping shopping area, so feel free to challenge the level of spiciness.
