I am ignorant, this is the first time I have heard of yellow chicken rice. The store looks like a traditional Taiwanese snack bar and is clean.
I ordered the mildly spicy yellow beef rice. After eating it, I understood that yellow beef is a dish where meat is simmered with spices and vegetables. The beef itself is pork belly, cooked very tasty and delicious! The overall nutrition is also quite rich, including vegetables, onions, potatoes, etc. The slightly spicy version is actually quite spicy for me personally. It goes well with rice, but those who don’t like spicy food may want to consider it.
The biggest failure is the white rice. The white rice is basically the sticky and Taiwanese-flavored rice that you usually get from stir-fried or school meals (I don’t know how to describe it, everyone knows it)… If the white rice can be cooked well, I’d really recommend it!
