In front of the Cisheng Temple in Dadaocheng, Taipei, there is a row of traditional market stalls, and this shop often has a line. The menu is full of affordable prices. There are seats for two in front of the shop, and more seating is available in the plaza behind.
The original broth is extremely sweet, and the spareribs are tender, highly recommended as a must-order! Most of the preparation time in the shop is spent cutting the ribs.
The winter cabbage is quite sweet, and the pickled mustard greens, which are rarely available as a standalone order, are tasty as well. The shredded bamboo shoots are decent, but the braised pork rice isn't the strong suit of the shop.
