The cold noodles paired with sesame sauce and garlic paste are rich in flavor, while the miso egg drop soup and blanched vegetables are sufficiently portioned and have a moderate taste. The tofu is well-marinated, making the overall meal delicious and reasonably priced.
The restaurant has a trendy appearance, is clean and tidy on the inside, and has a comfortable space, making it suitable for dining on weekdays.
The store provides self-service utensils and QR code ordering, with flexible payment options, and overall service satisfaction.

"The Meal Restaurant" is located near Dadaocheng. From the outside, it looks like a café, but unexpectedly, it is a noodle shop. The prices are very friendly, actually not much different from street vendors, but the space is quite comfortable. I personally recommend it.
Cold Noodles (Small) $55
In addition to sesame sauce, they also added a lot of garlic paste (you can ask the shop not to add it if you're not a fan of garlic). The small portion is quite substantial; a girl with a normal appetite can get full from it. If you like spicy food, I highly recommend adding chili oil—it's great. Eating this in the summer is fantastic.
Miso Egg Drop Soup $45
It's a big bowl! There are also some small tofu pieces inside. I think the miso flavor is just right. The whole bowl of soup is nice and hot, and it pairs perfectly with the cold noodles. It's a very happy combination.
Blanched Vegetables $45
You can choose between bok choy or Chinese cabbage. We chose bok choy and found the portion to be generous, with a lot of crispy fried shallots on top (you can ask them to leave it off if you don't like it). The flavor is on the stronger side, so if you prefer something lighter, you can ask for less sauce.
Tofu $30
This one is highly recommended! The tofu is very flavorful and can be enjoyed on its own. It also pairs well with a bit of chili oil.
Location: Wanhua District, Taipei City
While strolling around the area, I stumbled upon this restaurant.
From the outside, it looks very artsy and trendy, so I was drawn inside to give it a try.
🌟 Double Sauce Mixed Noodles
The double sauce is a combination of sesame sauce and fried sauce.
Paired with freshly cooked noodles, the noodles have a chewy and bouncy texture.
The two sauces blend together really well, and they don't make the dish too salty or overwhelming in flavor.
It's very tasty!
🌟 Braised Delicacies
We chose tofu puffs and braised eggs.
The tofu puffs are very flavorful, and when you take a bite, the rich braising sauce bursts out.
It's really delicious!
The braised eggs are also delicious, full of flavor, and the yolk isn’t too dry.
Overall, all the dishes performed quite well.
The prices are reasonable, and the shop is clean and tidy.
I think it’s a great place for a meal on a regular day.
