I found out that there's a place in Umeda where you can eat "nikumabushi," so I went there! 🐮

The restaurant is called "Oni ni Kanabo Chayamachi," located just a short walk from the Chayamachi Exit of Hankyu's Osaka Umeda Station, and it's also within walking distance from Umeda and Osaka stations on various lines. 🚃

There are table and counter seats, and every seat has a grilling net. 🔥

I ordered the desired dish,
Domestic Wagyu Toro Momo Nikumabushi 🐮 for 1640 yen (1800 yen).
For drinks, I went with ginger ale 🫚 because it was only 100 yen as a lunch drink, which is super reasonable! 😆

You can enjoy it in three ways:

  1. Savor it as is.
    The first serving should be enjoyed with the richness of the egg yolk and the sweetness of the beef.
  2. Enjoy it with toppings.
    For the second serving, generously add toppings for flavor.
  3. Light and refreshing with dashi.
    Pour dashi over it to make it like chazuke (rice with tea). Add toppings and savor the umami of the meat.
  4. The hidden fourth way - eat it however you like at the end!

I started by breaking the egg yolk and eating it as is. 🥚
There was also sweet and spicy minced meat under the beef, and it was all generously covered. 🐮
The meat was super tender and melted in my mouth, and combined with the sauce, the minced meat, and the richness of the egg yolk, it was absolutely delicious! 🥰

For the second serving, I enjoyed it with toppings. ✨
I added chopped nori, yuzu peel 🍊, wasabi 🔥, garlic chips 🧄, and green onions.
I tried a bit of each, and they all paired wonderfully with the meat! 🥰

For the third serving, I poured dashi over it. 🥣
I kept the toppings simple: green onions, wasabi 🔥, and chopped nori. ✨
The dashi was incredibly delicious, and it balanced perfectly with the rich meat, making it refreshing to eat. 🐮

For the fourth serving, I had it all with all the toppings and dashi! ✨
The dashi and all the toppings were fantastic! 🥰

The salad was delicious with a light sesame dressing. 🥗

I was so happy and satisfied with the meal! 🥰
As someone with a big appetite, I actually could have gone for a large size of rice! 🍚

Considering the quality, this is very reasonable and highly recommended! 🥰
When I was about to enter the restaurant, someone who was leaving said it was very delicious! 🥰

The menu changes for dinner, and I'm also curious about the hamburgers, so I definitely want to go back! 😆
