The dishes, such as the fruit mille-feuille and cheese sweet potato pasta, have an excellent texture. The bread has a strong aroma of flour, and the meal set provides a sense of fullness.
Located in the Lucua department store in Umeda, the atmosphere is suitable for afternoon tea, and the customers are mostly local girls. The environment is comfortable.
📍Japan, Osaka Umeda
Japan's popular afternoon tea features a signature fruit mille-feuille cake🍰
I've loved this place since the days of afternoon tea in Taiwan, and it's even better in Japan!
This is a special version of Love & Table, and you can only find the mille-feuille cake here🧁
It's located inside the easily navigable Lucua department store in Umeda. On weekdays, most diners are Japanese women, ranging from grandmothers to mothers with babies enjoying afternoon tea.

🍝 Set Meal (¥1,860 + 165)
Pre-meal Bread:
The appetizer bread is carefully made and delicious, served warm, with a solid texture and rich flour aroma.
Cheese Sweet Potato Pasta:
The pasta has a nice chewy texture.
This is a seasonal menu item; the first bite is refreshing, and the flavors deepen with each chew, offering a rich taste.
There are some shredded meat pieces that are quite tasty.
Chestnut Mille-Feuille Cake:
About one-third of a normal size.
Coffee: Super bitter 😩 Not recommended.
The great thing is that there are set meal combinations, saving you from too many choices, and finishing a portion leaves you feeling very satisfied.
🍰 Fruit Mille-Feuille Cake Set (¥2,046 + 275):
This cake is the highlight of my visit to this shop 🤩🤩
Although it's not cheap, it offers a very satisfying experience.
Surprisingly, the layers of the mille-feuille are filled with delicious cream, making the overall cake not overly sweet; the fruit is also fresh and tasty.
Additionally, there's a drink included, and I upgraded to a seasonal item—a combination of grapes and black tea—you have to pour it over ice yourself. It's refreshing and not sweet.
