Ludan Sichuan Hotpot is a restaurant I’ve been looking at on Fooday for a long time, and I finally got the chance to try it! This is basically a spicy hotpot restaurant, but it has a lot of hot stir-fries and it's very delicious. It’s a bit confusing, which one should I choose?
Let’s talk about the spicy hot pot first. What’s special about it is that it uses a charcoal stove to cook the hot pot. You can constantly smell the aroma of charcoal while eating. The soup base tastes very good, and the shabu-shabu beef is very fragrant. Everyone at the table praised it! My favorite is that their beer types include 18-year-old and Sapporo black label, which are really good. Please don’t only put Gold Medal or Heineken.
Then came the hot stir-fry. I originally just wanted to order a few plates to taste it, but I didn't expect that every dish tasted amazing. It was completely unremarkable. There is a sour bamboo shoot dish that I didn’t take a photo of. It’s probably the best sour bamboo shoot I’ve ever eaten! Highly recommended~ If you come to eat, you must order the stir-fried food.
Finally, the only thing missing one star is the dining environment. Although the charcoal stove is fragrant, the smoke exhaust equipment in the store is not as good as that of a barbecue restaurant (I feel like there is none at all). So it becomes like everyone making charcoal together and eating until you feel groggy🙃 After eating, you have to get up and go outside to breathe fresh air, otherwise you are afraid of passing out in there. It would be perfect if it could be improved!
