I heard from a friend that the rice noodle soup was delicious, so I decided to go try it.
I went during lunchtime on the weekend, and I was able to get in without waiting. The restaurant was not completely full, but it seemed to have a decent amount of customers.
In addition to rice noodle soup, the menu included items like braised pork rice and some side dishes with greens.
I ordered the most basic pork white rice noodle soup, along with tempura and blanched vegetables.
[Taste Evaluation]
The noodles were thick and had a great chewiness. Each piece was short, so I could eat them easily with a soup spoon.
The flavor of the soup was very light, and I think it would be even better with some added vinegar or other seasonings.
Eating it on its own felt a bit lacking in satisfaction, so I ordered side dishes as well, and the tempura was chewy with a very delicious sauce that came with it.
[Overall Evaluation]
This time, I ordered the most basic rice noodle soup, but I would like to try one with other ingredients like clams next time.
I was very impressed with how tasty the side dishes were. I definitely recommend trying the tempura and fried fish or other side dishes as well.
