Taipei is well-known for its popular dumpling shops, which are always crowded every time you pass by. So this time, I chose to take out to shorten the waiting time.
Since it was takeout, the dumpling texture didn’t quite match that of dining in, but overall, I still highly recommend it!
Although the dumplings were a bit stuck together, the texture remained unchanged once bitten into.
This time I ordered the chive dumplings and their most famous green scallop dumplings. Both were delicious, but personally, I prefer their regular dumplings over the scallop dumplings.
The filling of the chive dumplings is substantial, and when you bite into them, the chives and meat juices burst out, giving a slightly sweet flavor, which is my favorite.
The standout feature of the scallop dumplings is not just the green exterior but also the burst of scallop flavor in your mouth, which is unforgettable. However, the scallops are a bit small, which detracts from the texture, but considering the price, I can’t really complain too much. Overall, it’s still great.
Even though it was takeout, I still recommend not leaving it out for more than ten minutes to avoid losing the texture when it cools down.
