The noodle shop is located near Zhongxiao Xinsheng Station. The owner is very cool. Because he is dissatisfied with Google's rating system, he launched a campaign that gives you a drink if you rate one star. I thought it was very interesting, so I came to have a try.
We both ordered Sichuan pepper sesame sauce noodles for $85, but one of us chose thin noodles and the other chose knife-shaped noodles.
The chewy texture of the noodles is great, especially the knife-shaped noodles. If paired with Sichuan pepper sesame sauce noodles, I personally think that the knife-shaped noodles are more elastic and delicious than thin noodles.
The contents of the noodles are very simple, except for the noodles, which are just shredded cucumbers and carrots. The main flavor of the noodles is sesame sauce. The peppery and sesame flavor is not obvious, and it is not very spicy. Personally, I think the seasoning of the noodles is too salty and does not go well with drinks. If we eat them together, it’s really hard to finish the whole bowl.
Overall, the taste of the noodles is quite average. It’s not a restaurant I would go to specifically to eat there again. However, I wouldn’t hesitate to come back if I’m nearby. I see a lot of customers ordering soup noodles. If I come back again, I’ll give it a try. The taste may be a little lighter.
