The cozy tongue-skewered barbecue is located on Linshen North Road, near the intersection with Xinsheng North Road. It’s not a flashy corporate barbecue place but rather a tiny mini barbecue restaurant in the city. It has a bar counter and six tables in total, with a bright and comfortable environment and quick service. There is also teaching assistance to help with grilling.
Of course, barbecue is mainly about beef here! They focus on Australian Wagyu and American beef, which I think is a perfect combination for enjoying big bites of meat and drinks since it’s relatively not too greasy, and the prices are reasonably fair. The thick slices of beef tongue are delicious, the American beef belly is spot on, and the Australian Wagyu brisket and triangle cuts are also quite beautiful. The most impressive is the culotte, which has a hint of creamy flavor with tender, juicy meat—perfection! Of course, you still need the yam, zucchini, and scallion onion mixed rice, which I love.
