This time we're at a high-end steakhouse with a view in Taipei!

Are we here for the view, the steak, or the atmosphere?
Or is it all equally important?
As a steak lover and local guide, I'm so looking forward to this! 😚😚😚

We were a group of four dining together.
As soon as we arrived at the entrance, we felt the elegant atmosphere.
Right from the start, it gave off a high-end restaurant vibe,
perfect for a date or celebrating a special occasion!

The large restaurant sign at the entrance
had many people taking pictures with it,
boldly indicating their visit.

On that day, we even brought our own red and white wines,
planning to celebrate with a luxurious treat for food lovers.
The restaurant happened to have a promotion
where we didn’t have to pay a corkage fee. 👍

Now let's dive into the analysis!
For seating, we were placed at a round sofa table for four,
which was quite comfortable and not crowded.

The distance between tables in the round area
ensured we weren't easily affected by our neighbors' dining experience.

However, the round table was somewhat far from the scenic views at the floor-to-ceiling windows.
On that day, the small two-person tables by the window were constantly being turned over with new guests!
It seems everyone really loves high-altitude views!

Now about the food,
of course, at a steakhouse known for its steaks,
what else should we enjoy besides the steaks?

We ordered two main course steaks for four people,
and since we wanted to understand the difference in dry aging,
the decision was made: I want it all!
Let's see how it tastes!

Indeed, the dry-aged method
had slightly crispier or harder surface textures,
but inside it was still tender with a nice contrast.

Considering the price difference,
the dry-aged steak tasted slightly better, but it was much more expensive.

Overall, dry-aged steak did have a different flavor,
yet the regular wet-aged steaks were still top-notch,
although nothing particularly stunning. 🥺🥺🥺

Additionally, we ordered the Angry Shrimp appetizer,
which was a fairly standard shrimp appetizer,
just to taste it. 🥺🥺

Finally, we had to get the chocolate cake that everyone raves about!
How could we miss it?
As expected, the cake was enormous,
and even four of us couldn't finish it!

The chocolate cake was great,
but isn't it a bit too big and sweet?

Since there was a birthday celebrant among us,
the restaurant also provided a birthday cake.
Though it wasn't as good as the chocolate cake,
the flavor of the birthday cake itself was also wonderful!

In terms of service,
it was very attentive. Whether it was introducing the menu while ordering,
how to eat when the dishes were served,
or refilling water and wine,
everything was professional and timely.
The service was commendable.

They also engaged in friendly conversation with guests,
introducing us to the steak wines and other restaurant information!

For a high-end steak restaurant in Taipei,
I personally think this place is perfect for dates or celebrating special occasions.

However, the view and atmosphere are about 70% important,
while the food has only about 30% impact.

After all, sometimes the atmosphere matters more than the food!
So I’d say you should come during significant moments,
as it is filled with a sense of occasion! ❤️❤️

If someone proposes here, I wouldn't be surprised!

As for the price,
how inexpensive can you expect a top-notch steak restaurant to be? 🥲

Gentlemen of significant occasions,
how can we create a sense of ceremony?
Money spent can definitely set the basic tone!

Don't let the girls tease you for being a straight man!
Just look at the atmosphere of the upscale restaurant,
the attitude of the servers,
and the view out of the window—
this is the feeling of ceremony!

Bringing a girl to places like this
is bound to make her feel elated.
Isn't a sense of ceremony created just like that?
Girls suddenly become more talkative and gentle!

Perhaps she secretly thinks in her heart,
"Wow, dining here, could he...
pull out a diamond ring? Present flowers?"

"Oh no, I'm too casually dressed today!
What if a bunch of cameras show up later?
What should I do?" 🫠🫠🫠

These videos would last a long time,
and might even be projected for others to see!

Wow! Girl, you're overthinking this!
This might just be the suave guys' way of trying to give you a sense of ceremony!

But to you gentlemen!
A sense of ceremony really needs $$$ to stack up!

Don't randomly spend at such places without a special reason!
It's easier to go from frugality to luxury,
but hard to go from luxury to frugality!

You can't spoil the girl's appetite,
thinking a small celebration
needs to start at this level of restaurant.

Think about it: this meal could cost you
several hours of your work salary!
Working from dawn till dusk,
just to build up this sense of ceremony.

I guess this is love!
But also a good way to evaluate her feelings for you.
If you bring her to such an extravagant meal,
how does she react and feel? 🥺🥺
Oh dear, if she's a princess, just run away!!!

In closing, I sincerely recommend
you consider adding this restaurant to your list for major celebrations
and booking a table in advance online
before special occasions arrive.
It's best to choose a table by the window;
not only do you get the atmosphere and the view,
but also the steak!

久仰大名的乾式熟成牛排,終於來吃了~這次兩個人點的主餐是乾式熟成帶骨肋眼24oz 入口肉質帶有奶油香,是沒吃過的香氣,可能是乾式熟成特有的香氣,也能感受到牛肉原本的味道。不過這次點三分熟沒有想像中嫩,中間較少油花的部分個人認為有點乾,蠻可惜的! 這次最喜歡的反而是蟹肉餅,不是裹厚粉炸的那種,滿滿的原味蟹肉非常好吃! 另外還有加點了鮑魚一顆跟干貝,都處理得蠻好吃的! 最後溶岩巧克力竟然是有玫瑰醬的⋯不太喜歡🥹 有訂位的話,通常都會提供窗邊的位置! 服務態度很好👍🏻 布里歐麵包可以續~

先說結論,已經來訪了三四次,這次試了些之前沒吃過的菜,這次的菜色多數不合胃口,不過沒來過的人還是可以來一次,試試看經典菜色。 青醬田螺 NT490 跟一般田螺不太一樣,沒有放在田螺烤盤裡一顆一顆分開,這裡的是放在烤盅裡,裡面有大量菇類,田螺少的可憐而且切的很碎,口味上青醬和蒜味都很濃郁,建議菜名改成青醬蒜香香菇比較與實際菜色符合。 白酒檸香蒜味中卷 NT690 上面用牛蒡絲點綴,看起來很泰式,底下紅色是romesco醬,是用紅椒和杏仁調製的,可惜味道很淡。中卷品質中規中矩,整道菜吃起來就像台式的燙中卷。 法式洋蔥牛肉湯 NT390 洋蔥很甜,但湯卻有莫名的苦味,雖然很小一碗但還是吃得到幾塊牛肉,可能是因為長時間的熬煮,肉質很老,老實說湯裡不要有牛肉會比較好。 繽紛番茄起司沙拉 阿根廷青醬NT490 選用了不同的番茄和mozzarella起司,番茄新鮮,酸酸甜甜的很開胃,兩種不同大小的起司口感也不同,一口咬下,爆出香濃乳香。 櫛瓜薯條 NT390 熱愛櫛瓜的我當然不會錯過這道菜,之前在Moonshine吃過同樣作法的菜,但是那裡的麵體裹的不好,一下就全部皮肉分離。但這裡的不會有那樣的問題,很推薦! 明太子味噌茭白筍 NT390 這道我也沒有很喜歡,茭白筍本身不夠甜,明太子和味噌風味也不突出,而且如此日式的調味,跟菜單上的其他菜沒有搭配到。 經過了那麼多道終於來到這天的重頭戲 夏多布里昂牛排 32oz NT8990 先說結論,來這裡請點乾式熟成牛排,不要像我一樣亂點😂 這塊牛排份量是四人份,但我們兩人用餐還硬要點。上桌前會在桌邊淋上威士忌燒過。口感近似於菲力一般的軟嫩,但我個人不喜歡菲力,覺得肉質過於太軟嫩沒有吃肉的感覺,也沒有油脂的香味。旁邊有許多配菜,牛骨髓很香,可是非常的油,就像直接在喝油一般,吃一小口就沒辦法再吃了,最後打包回家拿來炒飯。旁邊其他的配菜也都不愛,炒菇很普通,馬鈴薯因為淋到威士忌,吃起來很苦,無法下嚥。 招待的生日蛋糕 Free 來了那麼多次都是慶生,之前也有單點過其他甜點,無論是單點的甜點還是招待的,都不好吃!飯後真的想吃甜食的話,去信義區其他店吃吧,別在這裡浪費錢。 這次食物的部分不太滿意,要再訪的話,只會考慮經典菜色。另一個令人失望的點是,這次遇到的服務生上菜時幾乎都沒有介紹菜色,以這樣價位的餐點,會希望服務生多介紹餐點。
