🌟 Freshly butchered warm-bodied pig with pig heart and winter noodles, eel dishes are very special.
🌟 Free pork knuckle noodles for the birthday star of the month.

"Flavorful Pork" is located at the triangular window of Minzu Road and Ximen Circle, a new pavilion-style eatery. Unlike other old shops in Tainan, the dining environment is clean and bright. The garlic eel and medicinal herbal eel soup are rare dishes that one can visit to experience.

That evening, it was quite crowded on a weekday, providing open-air seating in the pavilion and two tables indoors. The open kitchen design allows for a clear view of the cooking process. The indoor seating area was somewhat warmer, and the pavilion was filled with lanterns, creating a very atmospheric vibe.

The menu at Flavorful Pork is divided into four main categories: tasty noodles, garlic fresh, warming soup, and sesame oil fragrance, with a wide variety of internal organ options available.

I later learned on the internet about the garlic/sesame oil white eel and medicinal herbal eel; I’ll make sure to try this item on my next visit.

Pork knuckle with winter noodles 💰 85 (you can add soup)
The pork is not only springy but also has a good chew. This pork is perfect with rice, and the pork knuckle paired with garlic sauce is highly recommended. After five hours of simmering, it has a rich aroma, but the soup base is a bit light.

Sesame oil mixed heart, liver, and kidney 💰 200
This dish satisfies those who love internal organs, fulfilling three desires at once with pig heart, pig liver, and pig kidney! Remember to mix the sesame oil at the bottom before eating. The kidney has a chewy yet crisp texture, and tastes great with homemade garlic soy sauce. The pig liver is also very tender and not grainy.

Sesame oil kidney 💰 180
The broth has sesame oil added, which is different from traditional shops; the sesame oil floats richly on top. Flavorful Pork's taste is not overly strong and surprisingly refreshing.

Thoughts: All parts of the pork are delicious, but the soup base is quite light.

If you value the meal: Pork knuckle with garlic sauce is amazing.

If you value the environment: Clean, but the pavilion does not have air conditioning.

If you value parking: Scooters can park at the entrance, and cars can park at the circle (although it's difficult).

If you value restrooms: None.

If you value waiting time: The speed is very fast; almost no need to queue.

If you value service: Quite good; when I was thinking about adding soup, the staff directly took it to add soup for me 💓.

If you value cost-performance ratio: 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Pig heart vermicelli, sesame oil mixed with kidney soup.
The meat is thick, and I think it's pretty good.
