Fujin Tree Taiwanese Cuisine Champagne has been awarded one Michelin star for three consecutive years. The last time I dined here was 5-6 years ago. A few years ago, I was not very impressed with the food in this restaurant, so I didn’t have a good impression of it. The memory of this meal is still fresh in my mind, so hurry up and write a review!

The store is located in an old house on the corner of Minsheng Community. It looks very low-key from the outside. The floor-to-ceiling windows and ceilings as well as outdoor plant installations create a comfortable and comfortable dining environment for the restaurant. The private room area has to be walked in from the side path. The door is quite private and there is a magnetic card access control, so the privacy is quite sufficient. This time I was lucky enough to book a table in a private room with a dedicated waiter serving at the table.

Ordering is a la carte, and there are also multi-person set meals to choose from. The dishes are more like a fusion of Taiwanese-style centralized cuisine. The taste is not too salty and is suitable for all ages. It is suitable for bringing the elders to eat.

There was just a small episode in the middle, because there were many elders at our table, and they wanted to be able to serve each person at the table without having to separate the dishes and pass the plates around. However, this restaurant prefers a combination of dishes, so I had a long chat with the waiter at first.

The service was very good. I felt that the waiters tried their best to remember the origins and ideas of all the meals and wines, and were able to explain them without being nervous. They were also able to answer the more radical questions of the elders with ease. I give this a thumbs up. Very high score.

👉 Overall, I think it is a Taiwanese restaurant that you can check out for stars. After all, they have won one Michelin star for three consecutive years. But maybe because of the Michelin halo, I had higher expectations for this restaurant. Overall, I was a little disappointed.

As a Taiwanese champagne restaurant with excellent service and environment, I would give it 4 stars, but after Michelin adds it, I will only give it 3 stars.

(This store only has Gold Medal Taiwan Beer, not 18-year-olds, so 0.5 points will be deducted for any minor mistakes😂)

◇ Fujin saliva chicken ✨ ◇ My favorite dish is a little spicy. The cooked chicken tastes very tender and juicy. It is very appetizing as a first course. The portion size is about 6 people, and one person can eat a piece of chicken.
◇ Tree Water Lotus ✨ ◇ It's a very homely dish, but they handled it very successfully, retaining the freshness and crispness of the water lotus, and seasoning it with ragzi, which goes very well with rice.
◇ Fried dough sticks and fresh oysters with minced garlic ◇ The portion of fresh oysters is very large, and each one is very sweet and plump, but it feels like a taste that I often eat, so the rating is a little better than average (the fresh oysters themselves are a plus)
◇ Braised pork with candied dates ✨ ◇ A whole piece of pork belly is stewed, the fat is beautifully distributed, the oil on the surface is smooth and juicy, and the fragrant sauce has a bit of sweetness from candied dates and roselle flowers. It looks greasy, but it is refreshing and not greasy when eaten. . Highly recommended by everyone!
◇ Old skin and tender meat ◇ It is said to be one of the must-order dishes recommended by the chef, but I was not very impressed by this dish. Maybe the taste is not particularly outstanding, and the tofu itself is not very tender. I don’t feel much after eating it, but it is not unpalatable. The evaluation is average.
◇ Dill Baked Eggs ◇ Although simple, it is delicious. The baked eggs are very thick, but very fluffy and full when you bite them. The vegetable fragments inside add a multi-layered texture to the baked eggs. Ordering one is perfect for everyone to eat together. It is about 8 people. .
◇ Roasted Pork Liver with XO Sauce ✨ ◇ Although I am very afraid of eating pork liver, I give this dish full stars! The chef is very good. He can cook the originally very fishy pork liver until it has almost no pork liver smell. The surface is completely covered with the special XO sauce. It tastes like roasted pork jerky in sauce. Even I dare not eat pork liver. Everyone can take a few bites and everyone is amazed by this dish.
◇ Steamed Grouper ◇ This dish seems to be a seasonal dish, but it is not on the menu. The grouper is very~~very~~~ big, thick and big, with a lot of meat. The portion is perfect, and it tastes very fresh and sweet. It goes well with the tender meat below. The tofu was delicious, but the waiter said that grouper is not available every day, and we were especially lucky to get a very large grouper today. It turned out that it was so big that no one could finish it, so we had to take it away🤣
◇ Hokkaido Scallops, Bamboo Piper and Chicken Soup ✨ ◇ The soup is very sweet and rich, full of the umami flavor of scallops and the essence of the whole chicken. After a big pot is brought out and the photos are taken, the waiter will help divide it into small bowls for everyone to drink. I will continue to fill it up alone. I ordered 3 bowls, it was super delicious, and there was a lot of dried beetroot, you could get every spoonful of it, it not only warmed my stomach but also warmed my heart.
Eating Fujishu must be paired with champagne! The waiter will come in at any time to pour champagne and sparkling water, and the service is professional👍
