This time, I'm at a fresh beef hot pot restaurant in Taipei!
Finding delicious fresh beef is really difficult!
This hot pot restaurant has been on my list for a long time,
so I specially came to try it out!

The restaurant is located near the National Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall MRT station,
making transportation very convenient.
It takes about 5 minutes to walk from the station.

The restaurant's sign is quite large,
so it's easy to find!

The menu here is also quite rich,
including hot pot and hot pot ingredients, as well as stir-fried dishes.

For the lazy folks, there are also套餐 (set meals) available for selection.
There’s a basic fresh beef set
and, of course, different menus available depending on the type of broth!

The most basic option is the beef brisket broth,
which includes other vegetables and fruits, etc.
If you want to upgrade to oxtail broth, that’s available too!
It will have several pieces of oxtail to cook in the hot pot.

As for the套餐,
it typically comes with two plates of fresh beef.
If you want to upgrade, that’s also an option.

Additionally, the套餐 will also feature stir-fried beef
and other dumplings and fish balls,
making for a very complete set meal combination.

Of course, if you desire more fresh beef,
you can order extra.
There’s a special characteristic here:

Besides the hot pot beef,
they also offer a variety of beef dishes like stir-fried options,
so there are really many choices!

Just among the stir-fried beef dishes, there are several options.
If you want to try special beef tongue, they have that too.
So really, it’s not just limited to fresh beef hot pot!

Regarding the ingredients,
I think their fresh beef is quite fresh and tasty.
The different cuts of beef
really have significant differences in taste,
and it feels like you're truly eating different parts of the beef.

According to different cuts,
the waitstaff will inform you of the optimal cooking times for each cut in the hot pot!

Moreover, their stir-fried dishes are quite good.
It really feels like you’re enjoying stir-fried beef in a stir-fry restaurant~
The portion size for the couple’s package is quite generous,
and I think it would be just right for two adult men—
there might even be some left over!
So, in terms of portion size, I think it’s quite sufficient!

And since I’m at a hot pot restaurant,
the broth is also a key point.
That day we ordered oxtail broth,
and before adding the meat, the soup was quite clear.
Because we added oxtail,
the beef flavor was very rich right from the start
but not overly greasy or heavy.
I personally drank several bowls of soup before the meat was served!

I think for a fresh beef hot pot restaurant,
I would highly recommend this one in Taipei!

The above items are part of the couple's set.
Since I’ve never tried oxtail broth before,
I came specially to order it.
The quantity of oxtail provided was quite generous,
and since I hadn’t really eaten much oxtail before,
this time, it really felt refreshing and tasty.
It’s a bit like eating beef that’s full of collagen.

I definitely recommend everyone to try the oxtail!
However, because there’s really quite a bit,
in the end, I couldn’t finish it and had to take it home!

As for the fresh raw beef part,
since both plates were upgraded,
they were different cuts.
There were four different cut combinations,
and each one really had its own flavor and characteristics.
I also tried different cooking times to figure out which was the best!

However, fresh beef in the hot pot is really quite nice!
The fresh beef here is quite delicious!
But everyone probably still has preferred beef cuts,
so if you have particular favorites,
you should really choose based on your liking
instead of exploring like we did to find what tastes best!

The hot pot dumplings I found were a bit more on the ordinary side—
just regular hot pot ingredients.

As for the meatballs,
I think their beef meatballs are quite good.
The beef flavor is solid and tasty,
and the meatballs are neither too soft nor too hard!
I recommend trying the beef meatballs.

The stir-fried dishes meet the standards of a good stir-fry restaurant.
Compared to raw beef cooked in the hot pot,
stir-fried beef offers an entirely different flavor,
plus it pairs perfectly with the rice here,
or you can upgrade to beef sauced rice.
Eating it with the stir-fried vegetables is just perfect!

👉Salt and Onion Beef Tongue $320
That day, I specially ordered the beef tongue to try,
and the cooking skills here are quite good.
While it’s not extraordinarily delicious,
it’s definitely above average compared to outdoor BBQ spots.
If you particularly like beef tongue,
you can give it a try here!

Overall, I think the hot pot here is quite fresh and tasty.
When it was first served, I drank several bowls of soup.

The oxtail provided in the broth was generous and substantial,
and everything cooked in the pot was quite delicious.

Moreover, paired with the restaurant’s stir-fries and rice,
you definitely won't be worried about going hungry!
I’m personally quite satisfied with the food!

⭐️Atmosphere section
The restaurant space is quite large,
and the seating area is well divided,
so it doesn’t feel cramped.

The overall tableware setup and style feel quite refined,
almost giving it a mid to high-end hot pot restaurant vibe.

Whether it's a gathering with friends, a family meal, or a date,
I think this place is a great choice!

⭐️Service section
The service here is quite basic,
outside of the usual ordering and serving.
The waitstaff will also briefly introduce each different cut of fresh beef,
along with the recommended cooking times.
However, adjustments can still be made based on personal taste.
The service is standard, and when I needed soup replenished,
they came quickly to help!

⭐️Price section
I think the prices are comparable for fresh beef.
While the overall price might seem a bit high,
the portions in the set are actually quite large.
I even suggest that three people can just order the couple’s package.

So when you calculate it, the price isn’t too high,
so I think the pricing part is pretty good!

⭐️Overall
From my dining experience this time,
I think this is quite an impressive fresh beef hot pot restaurant.
And what’s special is
that it offers not only pure fresh beef hot pot,
but also includes various stir-fries and a la carte beef dishes,
making the content quite rich!

I find that each type of ingredient and dish has pretty decent flavors,
so I really recommend this hot pot restaurant!
