🍺 On weekday nights, the place gets quite busy, mostly with office workers who come to eat and drink after work. It’s very close to Saga Station, just a short walk away, making it convenient. We ordered quite a few skewers and fried items, and overall it was a decent experience, though we did mistakenly order one dish.
🍢 The chicken skin skewers were crispy, and the sauce was on the sweeter side. The fried chicken pieces had a crunchy outer layer and the meat was pretty tender, which went well with the mayonnaise. The okonomiyaki was freshly made on the teppan and had a rich flavor.
🍘 The chicken and onion skewers were seasoned just right, while the miso tofu was a bit soft and had a stronger flavor, but it paired well with alcohol. The seaweed powder fried fish sausage was expected to be a vegetable dish, but it turned out surprisingly delicious, crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside.
🍟 The fried burdock root sticks were like savory versions of churros, crunchy and very tasty, perfect with beer.
🫣 That plate that looked like sashimi was a mistake I made while ordering. It was on the sweeter side and had a fishy taste, so I didn’t continue eating it.
Overall, the meals were of good quality, and the prices were reasonable, making it a nice spot to relax and have a few drinks.
