The freshly made ones are the best – this shop's mochi is really chewy and delicious. The signature one-bite treat is quite special and I haven't had anything like it elsewhere. The mochi combined with red bean paste and peanuts (with a texture and taste similar to peanut candy) is something I really enjoy. The original sesame flavor has a rich and fragrant sesame filling on the inside and outside, and it’s not too sweet, making it very tasty. There's also the red turtle cake? (It’s red on the outside with mochi and red bean paste on the inside.) I have had it from other places before and liked it very much, but I was always too late to buy it again, which is a pity. They make it fresh to order, and I highly recommend it.
