I actually knew about this restaurant for a while, but I don't know why it suddenly became a trending restaurant! Perhaps it's because some influencers came to write some reviews, so suddenly the restaurant needs to be reserved in advance to get a table! However, I walked in not long after it opened today and was fortunate enough to find two empty tables, allowing my friend and me to have lunch together smoothly! I originally thought each hot pot was an individual pot 🍲, but it turned out the army pot was actually quite suitable for two people to share. However, there weren't too many ingredients; most of it was taken up by the noodles 🍜. Although the taste was decent, I couldn't help but feel it was a bit monotonous! If I go again, I might not choose the army pot, but will try other options like the tofu pot!

What I found quite interesting was the…
❤️ Seaweed Vermicelli Roll
This dish looks cute, and while it doesn't have much flavor when eating, I really liked the crispy texture of the seaweed on the outside. Inside, there's only a hint of seasoning with the vermicelli, but it can be eaten with a Korean dipping sauce, giving it a unique flavor! I think it's a great appetizer!

Overall, I think this restaurant is just average; it's not as amazing as the influencers say. However, it’s fine to come here for a simple bite when I think about grabbing something to eat, especially since the place has a strong Korean vibe and the staff are very responsible. Overall, there aren’t any significant downsides! At most, the ingredients are a bit on the sparse side~ If someone usually enjoys eating carbs, they should find it quite satisfactory!

We have dined in numerous Korean restaurants in many countries, this one serves food not up to foodies’ expectations on a national level — we’d try to avoid revisiting until new chefs are hired — meanwhile, the atmosphere with cute murals surrounding customers are lovely though; nonetheless, generally speaking, food is not yet up to standards. Those festive decorations and Christmas trees let them earn those two (2) stars.

This place is generally crowded and needs a reservation, and I can see why. The star attraction is the whole chicken hot pot, and it's really great. The chicken is tender and juicy, our toddler kept asking for more. While waiting for it to cook, they also had small side dishes to whet our appetites and the picked radish was especially popular. The basket of clams we got was also pretty fresh and really adds to the broth. We took the broth home and cooked it further in noodles as well, nothing went to waste! Great place to visit, I highly recommend it.

ZAN 🍥 CHEE 🇰🇷
KoreanKowloon
ZAN 🍥 CHEE 🇰🇷 Korean Restaurant has been being with over 50 Korean side dishes (ban chan) for customers — these ample varieties do broaden dining experience and foreigners’ knowledge about Korean gastronomic culture. There are currently five (5) branches, and this one in Olympian City is the only one on Kowloon side in Hong Kong. Personally speaking, the foods both surpassed the standards and urbanely reached our expectations.
