Ten Cups
Offers a variety of small farm fresh milk to choose from.
The fun of drinking here is that I can choose different types of milk and see how they differ in taste.
Unfortunately, the one next to my house has closed down QAQ.
I have to travel to Taipei to get it.
The menu doesn’t clarify much,
but the staff is very attentive in explaining.
The milk tea is fresh milk tea,
the au lait has fresh cream added,
and the hand-stirred milk tea uses coffee creamer.
Today I tried jasmine milk green tea with Tieguanyin tea jelly, lightly sweetened and lightly iced.
I chose the main En fresh milk.
It has a stronger milk flavor but does not completely overpower the tea aroma.
Overall, it has a rich texture.
The Tieguanyin tea jelly’s tea flavor isn’t very prominent,
feeling a bit ordinary compared to the other drinks.
It seems that only the Gongguan store and the Yonghe store are left in all of Taipei. The signature drinks are fresh milk tea with a variety of flavors, and the texture of the different flavors really does vary. Their pure tea is also quite good; even the milk tea with cream is quite pleasant to drink. The prices are about the same as other fresh milk tea places, but the best part about the Gongguan store is the comfortable dining environment. There are about ten seats inside, and they also provide some comics.
Most importantly, they offer charging so customers can use their devices, making it a great spot to grab a drink before taking a walk at Treasure Hill. However, sometimes there are a few too few staff, so it can take a bit longer to make the drinks. Overall, I think it's a worthwhile and tasty option in this era of beverage explosion.
Ten Cups originated from Yongzhen Road in Yonghe, New Taipei City.
When it was just a small original store, I passed by and patronized it many times.
Later, the store changed the direction of the business and opened up franchises. There were also opportunities to taste it in other places. However, some rare ingredients were gradually missing, which was still a pity.
What I enjoyed today was osmanthus tea, priced at 40 yuan.
Osmanthus tea:
The aroma of osmanthus is quite sufficient and the tea body is refreshing.
There is a little solid part of sweet-scented osmanthus stuffing at the bottom of the tea, which also provides another drinking flavor.
The special ingredients that the store used to specialize in, perhaps due to cost considerations, have gradually disappeared.
My favorite was the apricot wedges from the previous ten cups, and the chocolate rice was also a very creative ingredient, but unfortunately they are no longer available.
The current ten cups focus on various concoctions of fresh dairy products from small farmers. I really have no idea about milk tea, and I can only reminisce about the delicious taste of the past.
Overall, it is still a decent beverage shop in the family.
The taste is still good.
Recommended to everyone.
