The restaurant's tomato and egg claypot noodle soup has a rich broth, and the noodles are cooked to perfection. The fried egg is crispy, and the side dishes like century egg with tofu and braised snacks are also very delicious. The red oil century egg noodles are full of spice, and the sauce is flavorful, perfect for those who love spicy food.
The restaurant has a thriving business, with a fast table turnover rate, making it suitable for enjoying hot noodle soup after hiking. The environment is conducive to quick meals. Parking is convenient, but there may be a line during lunch hours.
The food is served quickly; although there is a queue, the waiting time is not long, and the service efficiency is high. It operates until 2:00 PM, so it's advisable not to come too late.
Parking is convenient; you can park in the lot and reach the store in just one minute on foot. During lunch hours, popular stores require you to line up. The spicy preserved egg noodles are both spicy and refreshing, and the sauce has a wonderful aroma, making it perfect for those who love spicy food. The lunch service runs until 2:00 PM, so don't come too late, or you might miss out. There are also dry noodle combinations available on-site, so I'll come by again next time to give them a try.
A noodle shop with very good business.
Highly recommend the tomato and egg clay pot hand-pulled noodles. I was initially a bit worried that the hand-pulled noodles would be too thick and cook unevenly, but in reality, they were cooked just right with a nice chewy texture. The broth is rich and has the perfect thickness to cling to the noodles, and the crispy fried egg adds even more delightful texture and flavor.
The side dishes are also very tasty, and I would like to come back to try different items.
It's been almost two days since we hiked up the mountain and reached near Sanxia Old Street. There aren't many restaurant options, and many of them only serve until 2 PM during lunchtime. This shop's soup noodles were really perfect for us after coming down from the mountain, providing some warm and protein-rich sustenance.
Even close to 2 PM, we had to wait in line to get seated, as the business was doing well, but they turnover tables quickly, and we only waited for five minutes. The food came out rapidly after ordering, so if we pass by next time, we might come back to eat.
