The broth has a fragrant sesame flavor, there are many options for beef, the marbling of the Wagyu is beautiful, the seafood is fresh, but some clams have sand.
The business hours are poorly arranged, and the smoothie machine was cleaned early, affecting the dining experience.
The service staff is inadequately trained, resulting in errors at checkout, and the birthday discount is not flexible enough.
🔹 Broth (Spicy Hot Pot + Chicken White Soup Combo)
🔸 Plenty of beef options
🔹 The seafood was quite good. We ordered blue diamond shrimp, angel red shrimp, clams, and cuttlefish, and they all tasted pretty fresh, though some clams had sand, which is a bit unfortunate.
🧸 The Japanese A5 Wagyu can be redeemed by members. The marbling is quite beautiful, but the promotion cannot be shared! The monthly birthday discount is 10% off for the birthday person on one order; later, when we inquired with the staff about the birthday activity, they mentioned that if the birthday person gets the 10% discount, we would have to pay the full price for the A5 Wagyu, so we didn’t use the birthday discount after all.
🧸 Business hours are from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM. We made a reservation for 11:30 PM. After ordering, when we went to the self-service bar, we noticed that the slushie machine was preparing to be cleaned, and the remaining slushie was dumped into a nearby plastic container. At 11:58 PM, they notified us that at midnight, except for Haagen-Dazs, all items would be taken away (vegetable bar, drinks, sauces, side dishes), which left a bad impression on me.
🧸 The price of the redeemed Wagyu was initially shown in the total price, and presenting the coupon at checkout would offset part of it. However, the staff made mistakes with the billing twice... the training for the employees needs improvement.

🥵 "Xiang La" was formerly known as "Xiang La," and after experiencing a food safety incident, it rebranded and started anew. This time, I visited the Songjiang location, and I felt that the variety of meats was quite impressive 🔥, although the service was a bit slow and could use improvement.
🦐 The seafood was outstanding, with 28 blue diamond shrimp, 24 angel shrimp, and 16 plates of clams—all fresh and springy, although some clams had sand in them.
🇯🇵 The Japanese A5 Wagyu beef was obtained through a redemption, and the serving size was just right. The marbling was beautiful, resembling a piece of art. After a quick dip, the aroma floated up, and I found myself secretly wanting to get another plate 😅.
🐮 There were plenty of beef options, including 18 plates each of champion pure Australian Wagyu and gold medal fresh-cut Wagyu, both rich in flavor and completely satisfying. They were more appealing compared to the Angus ribeye (19 plates). The premium Wagyu flank (14 plates) had a bouncy texture and was very enjoyable to chew. Although I only ordered 2 plates of slippery beef, when it was served, it looked thick and less enticing. The texture was smooth but lacked a bit of surprise, so I was less inclined to reorder.
🫕 I chose a broth that was a mix of spicy and chicken white soup. The spicy broth was fragrant and numbing, perfect for cooking meat, while the chicken white soup was rich and smooth. The ingredients like beef tendon, beef tripe, tofu, and duck blood were well-seasoned, making them the kind of side dishes you keep ordering ✨.
Overall, the meat selections were solid, especially the Wagyu line, and with fresh seafood and decent service, it's a suitable place for indulging in meaty dishes and shrimp. After finishing, I just wanted to say: I was stuffed to the point of not being able to move!
