I rarely eat fried food now because it's usually not fresh, which either gives me diarrhea or causes skin rashes. However, I saw a lot of passersby with bags from Chen Ji Fried Chicken and decided to give it a try, and I was stunned by how delicious it was!

This time, just like the first time, I bought sweet potato fries, squid, and chicken nuggets (salt and crispy chicken), totaling $185, which has gone up a little bit compared to two years ago.

I rarely get to eat such delicious sweet potato fries—they are fluffy, crispy, and quite large, making them really enjoyable. The squid is very fresh and tender and doesn't require much effort to chew, while the chicken nuggets are juicy and fresh without being dry. I didn’t get any rashes or diarrhea after eating, so the ingredients must be very fresh for that kind of taste.

I really recommend eating here if you come for a soak in the hot springs or visit Beitou. They are open for lunch too, so you don’t have to worry about feeling heavy after eating. Plus, the service is incredibly quick; you can pick up your order in less than five minutes after placing it. Although it looks busy, they manage to serve quickly.

This time I noticed there are small tables and chairs at the entrance of the store, so if there’s nowhere else to go, you can sit and eat right at the entrance.
