"After finishing Ah Hui's noodle soup, we directly went to another ramen shop, but we had to wait in line for a long time..."
<About the meal 🥣>
Noodle type: This time, we ordered thick noodles, which had a nice chewy texture and absorbed the broth really well—absolutely fantastic!
Broth: The broth was quite warming and appetizing at first, but as we continued drinking it, it became a bit salty and greasy. Luckily, there were vegetables to accompany the broth, overall it was very good.
Chashu:
I saw their chashu already prepared on the counter, and the flavor wasn’t heavily seasoned, just the usual black pepper, which was enough to be delicious. Pairing it with the broth brought it to another level.
<About the staff 👨🍳>
The staff was super energetic, and they even offered me their soft-boiled egg (they said: “Sorry for making you wait so long”)—so heartwarming! After the meal, they even asked if I was full. My heart just melted!
<About the dining area and environment 🐾>
The dining table was spacious, and there was air conditioning, which was super comfortable. The overall environment was impeccable, and the kitchen is open, giving us consumers or diners more assurance, as we can see how our meals are prepared.
dining space
The dining space is quite clean and comfortable, not too crowded, and is a great dining environment.
There are about 15 seats in the store, which is quite a lot for a ramen shop.
There is a tea supply at the front of the table, as well as seasonings and garlic paste to add flavor.
I ordered the "Thick Ebi Tsukemen". The soup is tonkotsu and shrimp soup, medium roll noodles, shredded green onions, diced purple onions, chicken thighs with barbecued pork, Shufei chicken barbecued pork and two shrimp roe.
First, taste the thick soup while it's hot. The sweetness and aroma of the shrimps roll over your taste buds like ocean waves.
The shrimp soup has a very rich flavor, without any fishy smell of seafood, and has a sweet and soft flavor of the tonkotsu soup.
The chicken barbecued pork was very tender and delicious, and the pork barbecued pork was chunky and beautifully seared.
The shrimps are also very good, and you don’t need to do it yourself again after you have cooked them.
The medium-rolled noodles are dipped in rich soup, and every bite of the noodles absorbs the shrimp soup perfectly.
Adding diced purple onions or shredded green onions after eating, the crispness and pungent sweetness of the vegetables serve as a flavor change midway through the tasting of the tsukemen, balancing and soothing the taste buds.
If you like seafood shock, you can try this dish
It is recommended to order a platter of barbecued pork and share it between two people, which is more cost-effective.
The thick ebi tsukemen soup has a strong shrimp flavor, the tsukemen are cold, and there are side dishes such as shrimp, chicken, green onions, and onions. The noodle is chewy and chewy, so those who like it softer may find it a bit hard. Halfway through the meal, the waiter will ask if you want to reheat it or add broth. The medium portion is satisfying.
The TKG rice is heated with braised pork on top, giving it a slightly burnt aroma. The raw egg is beaten and bonito flakes are sprinkled on top to enhance the flavor.
