📍Zhongzheng District, Taipei City (near Guting MRT Station)
The owner is a Korean person serving authentic Korean home-style cooking 🇰🇷
The dining environment is a bit cramped. The owner will arrange for you to share a table with others, and she does her best to fill the tables up 😆 For instance, at a table for four, there were two tables filled with five people.
Still, I'd want to visit this place again because the individual tofu soup pot was truly amazing!
🥘
Ordered items:
🌶️ Pork Kimchi Tofu Hot Pot, Slightly Spicy ($170):
Comes with a bowl of white rice, and the flavor of this soup is outstanding~ Soup lovers will keep coming back for more 🤤
I also really liked the additional ingredients like rice cakes, Korean glass noodles, and egg. The acidity of the kimchi is great! Next time, I want to order a plate of kimchi to try.
Additionally, this stone pot is incredibly heat-retentive! Even at the last sip, the soup is still very hot! If you're afraid of burning yourself, you can scoop it into a small bowl to eat.
🍳 Pork Bulgogi Bibimbap ($150):
When served, they give you a bottle of spicy sauce to add yourself. I usually don’t love Korean bibimbap that much, but the sesame oil flavor in this bowl was fragrant and quite memorable (maybe it came from the seaweed?).
