The most famous dish at Wei Mei is the egg pancake. Every time I come here, I always order the tuna and vegetable egg pancake with extra spicy! The pancake skin is crispy, and every bite is delicious. The added spiciness enhances the flavor; it's really highly recommended!

The radish cake is fried just right, with a slightly crispy exterior, and it tastes pretty good with the sauce. It's quite tasty.

The Osaka chicken cutlet sandwich is also excellent. It contains fried chicken cutlet, lettuce, egg, and ham, paired with whole wheat toast. It’s very filling and has a rich texture; the portion is generous, and after eating, you definitely feel satisfied!

Their fresh milk tea is made with fresh milk from Lin Feng Ying, so I always order the milk tea. The tea is slightly sweet, which I really like; it pairs well with savory food and isn’t overly greasy.

Overall, the meals at Wei Mei are not only delicious but also generous in portion size. It's a breakfast place that I really love!

People in Xinyi District must know about this breakfast place!!!
When I first came to Taipei to rent a room, my landlord recommended a few nearby food spots. This couple especially told me that I must come to this breakfast shop because it's the best place they’ve had egg pancakes, and even foreign friends specifically request this place when they visit 🫵🏻.
As a result, since I came here the day after I moved in, I’ve been a regular customer 🤣. It’s even become my first ritual for waking up naturally on holidays—walking over here to eat and then walking back home makes me super happy...

Let me get the bad news out of the way first: if you are really concerned about hygiene, please think carefully. Some people might be very particular about things like not wearing hairnets, tying up hair, or wearing gloves (I care about that too in other places, but I can't find anything to replace the food here; I’m such a hypocrite 🤡).
I even found a hair in my takeout once... but I’m willing to give it another chance. If it happens again, I might have to say goodbye for good...

Now for the praise.
Every item here is very reasonably priced, and because there are enough staff, the food is prepared quickly. I’ve been here several times and the service is friendly, with no scary, easily irritated aunties like at some other breakfast spots 🥹.
The downside is that there are way too many people!!! You really have to chance it for a seat. I still remember one table dining right next to a deity's table, which was quite special...
As for what to definitely order, it has to be their famous egg pancake. It's crispy without being greasy at all, and the filling is generous.
Other items are certainly tasty but can't compete with the egg pancakes for the top spot.
This time I strayed from the traditional and ordered the Blue Ribbon cheese pork chop sandwich. At first, I thought it was pretty ordinary and a bit disappointing, but halfway through, the cheese inside squirted out and was extremely hot (be careful if you order this). The cheese flavor is very rich, and overall, it’s pretty good :)
