The menu offers a wide variety of choices, including a joyful duo set, truffle potato focaccia, and Hokkaido cream honey cake. Overall, the flavors are generally good, but some combinations feel a bit odd, such as the spicy hand roll with Korean kimchi and the runny white sauce on the bacon egg pasta.
Although the restaurant is crowded and requires waiting, the overall environment has attracted many people due to the nearby Lalaport, making it a lively dining spot.
The service offers various payment methods and has related membership discount activities, which overall shows a great deal of sincerity towards customers.

Below are the items ordered and their prices 🔻
👉🏼 Happy Couple Set Meal $1,020
🔺 Angus Beef Spicy Hand Roll
Three pieces (not suited for the couple set), the spicy sauce tastes like Korean kimchi, and the beef is delicious, with lettuce underneath.
🔺 Truffle Potato Focaccia 👍🏼
Four pieces, I really love focaccia; it's soft and chewy with a great bread flavor ☺️ The mashed potatoes are well-seasoned, topped with a baked egg that’s supposed to be soft-boiled but is actually fully cooked 🤔.
🔺 Cheese Onion Soup
It's nice, but I couldn’t figure out what the floating thing was.
🔺 Hungarian Beef Soup
Includes basic ingredients like carrots, potatoes, and beef chunks; the broth has good flavor.
🔺 Bacon and Egg Flat Noodles
Topped with a onsen egg 🤤 There’s a lot of bacon, about 20 slices, but unfortunately, the white sauce didn't thicken up, and the noodles don't really taste like pasta... they’re more like wonton noodles.
🔺 Black Truffle Garlic Mushroom Risotto
Served in moderate portions, the risotto is improved for Taiwanese tastes, so it's not hard in the center; it has king oyster mushrooms and shiitake mushrooms on top, with something that feels like fried cheese slices, which is delicious! The garlic flavor isn’t overpowering, very nice!
🔺 Hokkaido Honey Cream Cake 👍🏼
The cake is astonishingly delicious, with a dense texture and rich honey flavor, the whipped cream is plentiful, giving a sense of guilt.
🔺 Cinnamon Apple Puff Pastry
The pastry base is slightly hard, with enough cinnamon flavor and warm apples, it pairs well with ice cream.
🔺 Chocolate Soft Serve Milkshake 👍🏼
The chocolate isn’t fake sweet; it’s a bit sweet, but you can add water to turn it into a super large cup that's very filling. The soft serve also enhances the texture, making it smoother.
🔺 Banana Soft Serve Milkshake 👍🏼
While not very large, it has a strong banana flavor and is very tasty.
I originally thought there’s no need to make a reservation for regular crowd at Cathay,
but it must be because of the nearby Lalaport crowd.
The Cathay area is packed, and you have to wait at any restaurant.
I was hungry all day and wanted to eat at Shabu Shabu Yakiniku, which is part of the same group,
but the waiting time was 2 hours!😵💫 So crazy.
I shifted to my second choice, Gu La Jue,
mainly because of #Taiwan pay 20% with Yun Piao Group,
$200 discount for a single purchase over $1,000 is super generous!🔥
Event ends on 6/30, leaving the remaining discount for Shabu Shabu Yakiniku 🍲.
